I preferred working at home rather than going to the office but sometimes I had no choice but to report in. I loved designing and making up new outfits. I wasn't really a fan of all the other stuff like contracts and conferences but they were a package deal so I had to be good at it all. My mother and grandfather had taught me well so I was as good at business as I was when it came to designing that's why I was always the best.

My building was located in the center of CBD which was perfect because it meant I got a lot of clients due to how busy it was. My building was eleven floors but I just used the first four floors and rented out the rest. The ground floor was for sales, the first floor was where all the assembling happened , the second floor was for my marketing and finance team and the third floor was for all the executives. I preferred a small and neat working place. I had other shops all around the country but this was the main branch. The rest were just for sales. Maybe I would branch outside country one day but for now I was happy where I was.

I was going through new designs for the kids collection I was about to release when my assistant came in. Yes I had an assistant but she usually worked with my COO since I was rarely at the office.

"Miss the surprise you ordered just arrived." She informed me making me jerk my head up.

Finally. I had been waiting all week.

"It's not out front is it?" I asked.

"No it's not. I'm just awaiting your orders on what to do next." She replied.

"Keep it where it is for now. Ill inform you when I need it." I requested and she nodded.

"Anything else?" She asked politely.

"None for now." I answered and she left my office with a polite nod.

I was so excited for what I had planned but David had to be here first which meant I had to call him. I grabbed my phone from the top of my desk before unlocking it and calling him. He picked up on the third ring.

"Hey Tiny, what's up?" He asked.

"Hey baby nothing much. What are you up to?"

"I'm actually in town to check out a printer for Elena. She's been bugging me about it all week."He explained.

"Oh okay. Are you almost done? Maybe you can come by and we can go have lunch together." I suggested hopefully.

It was almost lunch time so that was a good excuse to get him here.

"Umh yeah of course. I'll be there in about thirty minutes." He agreed.

"Okay just text me when you get to the lobby. You do know where my building is right."I asked innocently and he laughed. "Why are you laughing?" I asked.

"Nothing Tiny. I'll see you soon." He said and before I could interrogate him anymore about his laugh he hang up on me.

The nerve of that man. I resisted the urge to call him back and demand an explanation for his laugh and why he hang up on me so suddenly. I was acting crazy I know but he'd get an earful from me when he arrived.

I soon got back to work knowing David would arrive soon and I needed to get my work done because I wasn't sure if I'd be coming back here after my lunch with David.

It had been two weeks since our shopping spree and unfortunately we hadn't been back to the market. He'd been working both Sundays so it had been lazy Sunday for me. We couldn't go this Sunday either because we had plans. It was my grandfathers birthday. David honestly needed to get a better job. I didn't like his schedule of him working on the weekends. I had to talk to him about it.

We'd been together for more than a month and it was the most amazing time of my life. I didn't want to be with anyone else and I didn't care what anybody said about us moving too fast. When you find a good thing or a good man in my case you hold on and never let go. David was mine to keep forever and I know I moved at a faster pace than he did but I was okay with that. He always caught up eventually but one thing I never did was force him into anything or make him do something that he wasn't ready for. We had been staying together a lot lately with him spending most nights with me. He'd even moved his clothes into my room. We weren't living together yet  but we'd get there soon.

I was already developing strong feelings for this man. I was almost at the L word but not quite there yet. I didn't want to get there too fast then have to wait for David so I had to reign in my feelings a little. David was mine and I'd never be stupid enough to let him go. He was stuck with me whether he knew it or not.

My phone pinged with a message and it was David telling me he was waiting for me downstairs. I didn't want him coming up here only for us to go back down again so I texted him back asking him to wait for me. If he wanted a tour he'd have to get it next time. For now I had an agenda in mind that wasn't tour related.

I grabbed my handbag and put my phone and iPad in. I logged off my computer before getting up. I was dressed in a baggy Ankara print shirt with skinny jeans and black ankle boots. My hair was rocking a beautiful vibrant purple from root to tip. Told you I liked experimenting with my hair. I walked out of my office and found Diana my PA on a call. I waited a few seconds fir her to take the call before she turned all her attention to me.

"I'm headed downstairs so can you have my surprise delivered there." I requested her.

"Right away miss." She replied and picked up her phone.

"I don't think I'm going to be in after lunch so I'll see you tomorrow." I added and she nodded already knowing what that meant. Hold all my calls and push any meetings I might have forward.

I walked towards the stairs not bothering with the elevator, it'd take too much time waiting for it. I needed to get my steps in anyway not that I was counting or anything.

When I arrived at the lobby I found all the female customers and my sales assistants looking outside and pointing. On further inspection I noticed that they were staring at David and talking about him. He was standing outside in the street dressed in all black, dark jeans and a fitting V-neck t-shirt that outlined his muscles making him look like a snack. He was oblivious to all the attention he was attracting. A possessive feeling grabbed at my chest and I wanted to lash out in jealousy but I had more dignity and class than that.

I walked outside and when David saw me a smile lit up his face and he began walking towards me. I met him halfway and he wrapped his hands around my waist and pulled me to him.

"Hey baby." I greeted him.

"Tiny." He whispered leaning down to capture my lips in a short sweet kiss that had my toes curling in my sneakers.

When we pulled away I turned to the windows and winked at all the peeping Tom's my hands on David's biceps. Yes he's all mine I declared inside my head. They all turned back around and minded their own business.

"So where do you want to go?"He asked me.

"Umh I'm not sure." I replied looking around confused.

Diana should have already delivered the package by now so where was it?

"I'm not very familiar with this part of the city but I'm sure you do so why don't you suggest somewhere. I'm craving for some....." David's rant about what he wanted to eat was cut off by the rumble of a car engine.

I smirked wickedly knowing what was happening and David ears perked up in interest, boys and their toys. Both our gazes turned towards the sound and a beautiful black Ford Mustang GT500 that was being driven towards us by George. He parked it right in front of us and got out. He walked towards us and handed me the keys before patting David's shoulders and walking away.

"You bought a new car?" David asked stirring out of his moment of shock his widened eyes still on the car.

"Nope I bought you a new car." I replied with a smile holding out the keys for him.

It had a gift bow on the driver's door handle. I didn't want to go all out and place a huge bow on top of the car. He was a guy not a girl so I didn't want to go all extravagant. I'd ordered the car the day after David had told me his dream car even if he had asked me not to. It had taken quite a lot of cash to get it delivered in the country this fast but I knew some people in high places so it was easier.

"Tiny..." He whined looking at me shocked.

He was about to reject me but I wasn't going to allow that to happen.

"I know you asked me not to get you the car but I couldn't help myself. I don't know much about these cars but the guy I talked to at the dealership said this was the top model and I was curious. I must have clicked buy icon by mistake and here we are." I said lamely not even believing my own lie.

The look on David's face told me he didn't believe me either.

"It is the top of its model. Tiny do you know how expensive this car is?" He asked and I didn't reply just stood there looking up at him innocently. "Of course you do after all you bought it. It must have been hella expensive getting it through customs. Tiny I can't accept this." He apologized.

"It's okay I kinda expected that reply from you." I replied nonchalantly and he looked at me with narrowed eyes as if he didn't believe me, I chuckled at that.

"I'm serious. You asked me not to get the car and I did anyway knowing there's a chance you'd reject it but I can't return it, it's even more expensive that way but I can sell it or better yet give it to one of your brothers. I'm sure they'd love a new car." I teased wanting to get a reaction out of him and it worked.

"No way, none of them are old enough to drive yet." He argued.

I wanted to remind him that Brian was nineteen and could drive a car but I held myself back.

"I'll give it to George then." I shrugged.

"That old man won't appreciate the value of this car." David replied and I could see his resolve breaking.

"I'll find a way to get rid of it then but first I've got to try this baby out." I said walking towards the car. "Hop in. I'll take you out to lunch in my new car." I invited with a wink.

David made no move to walk towards the car but kept looking at it longingly. He wanted it but his male ego was fighting with him. I knew the car was a step too far on the me spoiling him zone but I couldn't help it. I liked spoiling my baby and better yet I actually wanted to spoil him and I had the ability to do so.

"Unless you want to drive." I asked dangling the keys on my finger in front of him.

He had all this conflicting emotions in his face as his heart and mind fought over what to do. His mind the ever reasonable one didn't want to lower his ego to accept the car but his heart the one that loved driving fast cars really wanted to .

"Okay fine then, I'll drive." I shrugged turning towards the drivers side.

Before I could insert the key David snatched them away from my hands. He unlocked the car and slid in. I just stood there smirking in victory knowing I'd won this battle. He was taking the car whether he knew it or not. Actually he just had without knowing it.

I opened door on the passengers side and got it. The car was an all black interior just like the exterior of the car with leather seats. David was caressing everything as if he couldn't believe what was happening. I strapped myself in and gave him a few minutes to admire everything.

"I thought you were out to get Elena a printer. Where is it?" I asked just to make conversation.

"They are going to deliver it personally so they can set it up and show her how it works." He informed me still transfixed by the car and I just nodded in agreement.

"So are we going to stay parked out here all afternoon or are you actually going to drive the car?" I inquired.

"Don't rush me."David answered and I smiled victoriously knowing that this deal was as good as done.

After a few more minutes David inserted the key in the ignition and the engine purred to life. David groaned in satisfaction and I knew that was him finally accepting the car without so many words. He finally got us out of the street and onto the tarmac.

"So I guess you like the car." I asked him turning to him as he drove.

"Like it. I freaking love it." He gushed and I smirked at him. "Get that smug look off your face." He demanded and I couldn't help but chuckle.

"I want you to promise me one thing."I requested my tone getting serious and he must have caught on it because he turned to me slightly meaning I had his full attention.

"Anything?"

"If we ever break up don't be one of those people who returns things they were given as gifts during the relationship." I answered in a serious tone.

"Who said were breaking up?" He asked.

"No one. I just wanted to keep all the basis covered."

"I'm not saying that I'm accepting the car but I promise." He said giving me his word.

"Good." I replied with a smile and settled comfortably back into my seat.

"Thank you." He whispered and I almost missed it but I was always paying attention to him.

"You're welcome baby." I said with a proud grin.

Mission accomplished.

I sat back and enjoyed the ride with my man. We were drawing quite the attention from other motorists but the windows were tinted so they couldn't see in. David soaked it all in and it made me happy that he was accepting the car. Nothing made me happier than to see him happy and I had just achieved that.
