Nothing.

I saw nothing.

(a/n: sry for those who expected something big lol)

It was only a room and nobody was in it.

According to the plainness of this room, it seemed like it belonged to Luke.

The walls were painted plain white and there was only a bed, a drawer and a desk. Nothing special.

He likes simple things so I didn't expect anything else than this.

"Let's try the other one."
Tony said in a low voice and motioned to the door next to us.

This time, I was the one who pressed the doorknob down.

As I pressed the doorknob more and more deeper, my heart also started pounding faster.

Tony was right behind me and watched me in
tension.

Fuck!

The door was locked.

It's probably Landon's...

I sighed in frustration, but then I remembered that this is a good thing. Now we know which door is the right one.

The door on the right side.

"It's getting serious."
Tony whispered.

"Wait."
I stopped her from pressing the doorknob of the door ,where my brothers were in, down.

"What is it?"

"Are we really just going to barge in like that?"
I asked her while pointing at the door.

"We aren't going to barge in."

"But if we're opening the door, they will notice it."

"We're just going to peek in a bit, to see what they're doing."
She said and I hesitantly nod in understatement.

Tony first looked into the keyhole, to see something, but she only shook her head saying that there wasn't a way to see something.

"The key is standing in the way."
She said.

"It's locked. I told you."
I groaned in desperation.

"Chill, we didn't even try to open it yet."

After she said that, she slowly put her hand on the doorknob and started to press down as slow as possible.

I could see the nervousness in her face and I was just a wreck of sweat.

Tony only pressed three quarters down. Thankfully the doorknob didn't make any noises, till...

*squeak*

I looked at Tony.

And she looked at me.

Our faces were both filled with panic.

CRAP!

As Tony pressed half of the doorknob down, it made a noise which the guys eventually heard.

We heard some foot steps approaching us.

"Into the room!"
I whisper-yelled to Tony and motioned to Luke's room.

We quickly ran into Luke's room and closed the door.

I made some gestures with my hands, to motion her to hide herself and she went under the bed. I hid myself behind the door.

"There isn't somebody."

I heard someone say behind the door and it sounded like Dylan.

Don't come in, please don't...

I closed my eyes and prayed for him not to get in.

"Go look upstairs."
Another voice said and I recognized him as Caleb.

Afterwards I heard someone going up the stairs and then it went silent again.

I breathed out as they didn't come in here. It was refreshing toocatch some breath again. I didn't notice that I held in my breath for so long.

This is what anxiety does to you...

"Is he gone?"
I heard Tony asking me.

I nodded.

"Puh, that was some adrenaline shit, dayum!"
She said but a little bit too loud so I shushed her down.

"Should we go out?"
She asked in a now quieter tone.

I shook my head.

"No, it's risky. Dylan can come down any second now."

"But we can't just stay in here the whole time. Everything we've done would go to waste."

"We aren't going to stay in here the whole time. We'll just wait for the...perfect timing."
I told her.

"And when should this be?"

"Let's just wait till Dylan comes back."

"But the door might be open and we could sneak our way in."

"You have to be kidding me!"
I whisper-yelled at her.

Tony only rolled her eyes.

"What would be your plan, Miss?"

"We'll wait."
________________

Tony and I were like 10 minutes in the room. Dylan didn't come back from upstairs yet and this was confusing.

I heard some voices speaking outside and they only talked about Dylan; when he'll come already.

Tony was complaining all the time about us still staying in here. She wanted to get out, but I told her to stay.

"I don't care if you aren't going out, but I am!"
She exclaimed.

"You serious?! My brothers are outside!"

"Isabella look, even if we wait till all of your brothers get in the room, we won't have a chance to get in. The doorknob will make a noise again and then we're screwed!"

"And what do you intend on doing now?"

"I'm going to peek and look around if some of your brothers are at the door, if they aren't we are going on and then hiding somewhere."

I gasped at her words.

She really does wants us to get caught...

"But what if they're right behind the door!"

"And what if they aren't?"

I sighed.

This is the only way Bella...

I told myself and took in courage.

"Alright, why are you still standing here then?"

Tony smirked at my statement.

"Let me check out the situation."

"Do you see somebody?"
I asked Tony who peeked through the door.

She shook her head and signalled me to go out. She was the first one to get out with me following right behind her.

This was it...

We could be caught any second.

Tony stood directly in front the door which was widely open. She took a look around and immediately turned to me.

"I couldn't clearly see, but it seemed like your brothers were seated on a table and it's right at the back. We could hide us somewhere at the front and listen what they're saying."
She whispered in a rush.

My brain couldn't proceed everything she said, so I just nodded.

And she dragged me in.

Into the lions' cave.
________________

We sneaked in and tip toes our way to a couch at the front. We directly hid behind the couch and this was probably the most panic full moment in my life.

We were just basically walking around in the near of my brothers. Dylan also could come any second and see us.

Like Tony said, my brothers were at the back seated on a large table. The room was pretty big. Seems like the meeting tables my dad also had.

Maybe they're discussing things for work?

I thought.

What if they are just discussing something work? They eventually run the family business and this could be the reason why they don't want to tell me anything, right?

I hoped that they did things only for work. I couldn't believe that they would so something...bad. I didn't want to believe that.

"This bastard is taking too long!"
Ethan groaned in annoyance.

Just as he said that, Dylan came in.

Me and Tony made ourselves look so small just not to be seen.

"Did you find someone?"
I heard Landon asking him.

"No. I also searched up the garden. Pretty much the whole house."
He responded.

"See I told you it was only a mouse!"
Grayson said.

I felt Tony shifting herself, probably being disgusted by the mouse.

"Let's just go on."
Carter sounded pretty tired.

"You know what to do on Friday."
Landon said and I guess everyone just nodded because we didn't hear a response.

Friday? They did talk once about Friday...

"Wouldn't be Isabella suspicious?"

Huh?

My ears perked up and Tony's too. This was getting interesting now.

"No."
Landon responded.

"But what if?"
Now I heard Luke speaking up.

"You know what to do then."

What does he mean?

I heard Caleb muttering something, but I couldn't make out what.

I was feeling dizzy. Not because of the hot heat behind the couch, but also because of these mysteries. It's just too much for me to handle.

"You can go now."
Landon announced but afterwards he spoke up again.

"By the way, I'm picking up Isabella tomorrow after school."

What? Please no...

Now I was completely dead.

I heard one of them going out one after another        till only me and Tony were in the room.

We heard the door being locked.

Fuck!

I quickly got up and so did Tony.

"We're locked!"
I groaned out.

"Don't worry, I can unlock it, remember?"
She remembered me and then I felt relief over me but not too long.

"Yeah, your brothers are hiding some shit. Maybe big shit...argh I don't know."
Tony exclaimed and I only sighed.

"Yes..."

"We didn't get many information though..."
She said and started to look around the room.

"Look Isabella!"
She called out at the back.

I ran towards her and found out what she wanted to show me.

"Look, it's another door."

There was really another door. I guessed that it had to be a chamber.

"If you want to find out more, then I suggest you to get in."
She said while I just accepted it.

Tony already took out her hair clip and started to unlock the door. She must have guessed that this chamber would be also locked.

*click*

The door was unlocked and Tony opened it.

We both went in, but it was dark.

"It stinks..."
Tony hissed disgusted by the odor of this room and I only could agree with her.

I turned in the light switch and I was greeted by something awful.

"I-is that b-blood?"
