After their lunch, they walked outside towards the car.

"Thank you for the treat, next time it will be on me" Shen wei smiled "Come on in, I will drop you to your place"

"Ahh... No no thats okay, I can walk home" I hesitated.

"Now do not say that, how can I let my mate walk alone. You got kidnapped last time I will not risk it again".

I smiled when I heard 'My Mate' I was too happy. I agreed and got on his car. He got in at the driver seat and said "Put your seatbelt". I was soo engrossed in looking at his beautiful face that the words did not register in my mind. Since Shen wei did not get any response from me, he suddenly leaned towards me. My heart beat sped, we were soo close that I could feel his breath on me. I closed my eyes awaiting for the kiss, but after few minutes I did not feel the kiss so I opened my eyes and saw him looking directly at me with a playfull smirk on his face.

"May I know why did you close your eyes, were you waiting for something" he said and glanced at my lips.

I blushed bright red "Wh-What, N-No you are wrong, I was j-just feeling sleepy... yeah.... sleepy".

I averted my gaze and looked outside. He put in my seatbelt and laughed. He started the car with a roar and we drove towards my home. When we reached my place, he got down from the car and opened the door for me. What a gentleman, I liked the way he gave his attention to only me. I was blessed to get a guy who looks like a god himself.

"Thank you for the ride, I will see you next time"

I smiled and suddenly remembered "Ohh yes! I do not have your mobile number".

Shen wei took his mobile and exchanged their mobile numbers. As Yunlan turned around to walk towards the house he felt a light pull at his wrist and saw Shen wei was holding his wrist. I turned around and looked at him questionably.

"Are you free tomorrow?"

"Ahh... I have to start classes from tomorrow as I missed it for 2 weeks. My classes end at 5 in the evening, I will be free later"

"Okay! Then please wait for me after your classes I want to take you somewhere. Is that okay?"

"Yeah thats okay for me. I will wait for you outside the university gate".

Shen wei took Yunlan's palm and kissed it.
Around the corner, Yanli saw her little brother with his mate-to-be. She knew exactly who this guy was, she wanted to confront them but the guy got in his car and sped away.

She got in her home and went straight towards her brother's room and knocked "Di Di are you in there?"

"Jie Jie I am going to take a shower, I will come to your room once I am finished".

Yanli was waiting for him in her room looking tense. She need to tell her brother who he is, so that he can stay away from him. As she was waiting the door opened and Yunlan walked in looking fresh wearing a hoodie, he looked cute.

"Jie Jie what's the matter, why did you call for me?".

Yanli looked at her brother "Sit down, I wanna tell you something".

Yunlan sat beside waiting for her to speak "Yunlan, I saw you outside with someone now Who was he?".

Sudden question startled him "Who, I do not know who you are talking about. My friend just came to drop me home, that's all"

"You know I can smell your lie right, I am an Alpha. Also this man has already scented you".

I was confused "What do you mean by scented me?"

"Alpha's always scent their mate-to-be to tell other Alpha's that you are off limit and anyone dare to come near you, they are dead. That is what I did to Guaying before I mated him. I scented him and then courted him to be my mate" Yanli said.

Yunlan blushed hard and scratched his head "That idiot why did he have to do that, possessive bastard. Now my sister know's about him".

'It must be by mistake..." Yunlan wanted to continue but Yanli cut him off "Di Di, can you stop lying to me. You know its no use right. Now spill it out" Yanli said with a little anger.

Yunlan signed "Its Shen wei the one who saved me from the traders. I told you about him, he is my mate".

There was stupid expression on Yanli's face "Wow, he was handsome. I could not see him clearly but however much I saw he was too handsome under the sunlight. Congratulations little brother you baited a good catch".

Yunlan glared at his sister as she was showing interest on his mate. Yanli glanced at her brother and laughed "Come on little brother do not be jealous, I already have a mate and I am not interested in Alpha's"

"Then stop looking at another Alpha, he's mine so back off sis" Yunlan barred his teeth as a little kitten.

Yanli chuckled "May be this Shen wei guy isn't so bad"

Yanli face hardened "Di Di do you know who he is? Do you know what is his work?. Di Di let me tell you, he is a mafia Boss of this city. He is a dangerous man and if you be around him you will be in danger".

Yunlan just smiled in return "Jie Jie, Shen wei already told me who he is and on the way I already guessed who he was. I know everything I want to know about him, he promised me he will not hide anything from me or lie to me"

"Also Jie Jie, Zhu is also from the same background you know about her. You never stopped me from making friends with Zhu and now you are trying to separate me from my mate. Why Jie Jie... why are you doing this" Yunlan asked sadly.

"Di Di, I am not trying to separate you from your mate. I am just worried about you".

Yanli thought "Sorry Yunlan, I cannot tell you why I am worried for your safety. Its not the time to tell you what happened 4 years ago".

"Jie Jie you do not have to worry about me, nothing will happen to me and I have Shen wei to protect me. So please give him a chance, please" Yunlan begged.

"Okay, Okay fine.. we will talk about this later".

"Guys come on out for dinner, food's ready" their mom shouted from downstairs.

"when are you going to your house, aren't you married why are you leaving your mate alone" I asked.

"He is out of town for few days and I am here to talk to dad about business. You are still a kid you will not understand" she ruffled his hair and walked out.

Yunlan cutely pouted, he is 24 years old already and his sister still treats him as a kid. At late night Yanli went towards her dad's study room after everyone fell asleep.

"Dad!"

"Come on in darling" Mr Zhao gestured to take a seat.

"Dad, I saw Yunlan with Shen wei today and I think you also noticed that he has been scented already. We cannot change their fate dad. Whatever happened in the past, I feel like it need's to be investigated. They did not recognize each other dad, you know what that means right, he does not remember our little Yunlan but his beast recognized his mate".

Mr Zhao nodded "I guess we cannot run away anymore. Its been 4 years already. I hope they do not have any problems further. I need to talk to Mr Shen about this. We need to prepare for any troubles and you need to meet Shen wei and tell him few things"

Yanli nodded in agreement and went towards her bedroom for some sleep. On the way she opened Yunlan's bedroom door and saw him sleeping peacefully 'Do not worry Di Di, I could not protect when you were in danger last time. But this time I will make sure you are safe". She kissed his forehead lovingly and closed the door.
