After the meal they gathered in the backyard porch to talk about Yunlan and Shen wei. Mrs Zhao loved gardenes, she has a beautiful garden in her backyard with a sitting area. It was a sunny day and a perfect time for relaxing under the shades in her garden.

As Shen wei walked out of the back door he was astonished by the view. The garden was beautiful Luscious green trees surrounded with different types of flowers and in between there was chairs aligned. They also had a big swimming pool. It looked like a hanging garden.

As they all seated on their chair's Shen Wei spoke up "The meal was delicious Mrs Zhao. Thank you for having me here"

"No need to thank me son you are like our family now and please call me Mom, you are my son now" Mrs Zhao said smiling lovingly.

"Okay Mom" Shen wei nodded.

"Woww... there calm down, what do you mean by he is your son, mom. You already have a son and that's me. Are you replacing me now" Yunlan questioned.

Yanli hit her Di Di's head "Are you dumb or an Idiot, isn't he your mate-to-be that is why he is family now"

"Ohhhh okay" Yunlan chuckled scratching his head.

"Thank you for accepting me as your son's mate Mom and Dad, there is one more than I want to have your consent on" said Shen wei.

"What is it?" asked Mr Zhao.

"Well we have a party organized in our main house. So I was thinking of taking Yunlan with me as my partner and introducing him with my parents." Said Shen wei.

"Okay, well now that you guys are mates and we have your consent you do not need any permissions from us to take him anywhere. We will just know you will keep him safe with you" said Mr Zhao.

"Thank you Dad, do not worry I will keep him safe with my life" said Shen wei.

"Okay, everyone lets go in its too sunny now and I have no sunscreen on me. I do not want a tan skin now" said Yanli.

They all walked inside the house and Mr Zhao called Shen wei to his study. Yunlan looked at Shen wei worriedly, he received a beautiful and calming smile from Shen wei saying 'It's okay'.

Shen wei followed Mr Zhao to his study room "Have a seat son". Shen wei bowed and sat down.

"I did not think we would be in this situation Master. Where I would have to sit in front of you and talk this way" said Mr Zhao.

"That is alright Mr Zhao, I had no idea Yunlan was your son and also Yanli was his sister. What a small world"

"Master..." Mr Zhao began.

"Please call me Shen wei, do not be formal. So Dad tell me why are we here"

"Shen wei, I know about the party you are talking about the partnership with the Wen family. I want you to keep Yunlan away from them especially their son Zhu Jui. He will hurt my son and have tried so many times"

"Wait...Zhu Jui" Shen wei tried to control his rage "He hurt Yunlan again?"

"Again? What do you mean by again?" asked Mr Zhao panicking.

"He tried to force Yunlan to be his mate, I came on time before he could touch him. So he has tried this many times. One day he is gonna die in my hands"

Mr Zhao signed in frustration "Son, this Wen family is very cunning we have to be careful in front of them. I have no objection in you mating with my son but I have two requests"

"Sure Dad, tell me"

"Please keep Yunlan away from Wen family and please control your rage and anger when it comes to Yunlan, it might harm him"

"Dad I would never hurt Yunlan in my rage, please do not worry" Mr Zhao nodded.

Shen wei asked "Does Yunlan know about you and Yanli?"

"No Shen wei, we wanted to keep him away from these things but eventually he got involved in it. I do not want to tell him now"

Shen wei nodded "I think we should go now, I can feel my mate is getting distressed". Mr Zhao laughed and they walked out.

Yunlan ran to Shen wei when we saw them coming out with smiles "Wei what happened in there, did dad threaten you or something, did dad warn you about something?"

"Kitten...calm down, breathe. Your dad did not threaten me. He just told me to keep you safe" Shen wei said patting his head.

Yunlan believed his words, he saw his sister sitting on the sofa he dragged him to her and sat down "So you guys tell me how you know each other"

Yanli and Shen wei looked at each other and Yanli's eyes glistened with mischief, Shen wei narrowed his eyes at her warning if she say anything inappropriate. Yanli ignored the look "As I said little brother we were friends from college"

"Elaborate please..." Yunlan said.

"Well..." Yanli looked at Shen wei and continued "Shen wei was the most handsome and popular guy in the college. Every girl and guy wanted to date him. He even had fans around him as if he was a celebrity. They even called him ice prince as he never gave them his attention, ignored them and even tried to be rude to drive them away. But still they all loved him"

Yunlan's breath hitched he tried to control his jealousy but nothing crossed Shen wei's eyes and he took hold of Yunlan's hands to calm him down "Yanli that's enough" said Shen wei.

"What I have not even come to the best part" Yanli said smirking.

"You know Di Di I also liked Shen wei and even confessed to him"

Yunlan was shocked, he tried to control his anger and gritted his teeth "And did you date him?"

Yanli loved Yunlan's reaction and tried to tease him more "Ofcourse I did, we were a famous couple back then. We loved each other a lot..blah...blah...blah"

As Yanli was blabbering the lies, Yunlan on other hand was fighting his anger inside him. Shen wei could feel his mate's anger and cursed inside, before he could stop Yunlan he had already jumped on his sister with a deep growl and was fighting her. Yunlan's eyes were dark gold and he jumped on top of Yanli pushing her on the floor.
Mr and Mrs Zhao came running outside hearing the fight and were shocked to find Yunlan in such a position. Shen wei immediately went near Yunlan to hold him but as soon as Shen wei touched Yunlan he was pushed away, "TRAITOR" Shen wei heard Yunlan scream.

It was getting difficult to control Yunlan as his beast had come out and was attacking Yanli as an animal. Yanli did not fight back as to not hurt her brother and took the blows she deserved. She did not know her Di Di would react like this and he was even capable of calling out his beast. Yunlan was out of his mind and did not realize he was hurting his own sister whom he loved to death.

Shen wei had no other choice than to bring out his beast to tame his mate. He closed his eyes and called upon his beast. As he slowly opened his eyes it had changed its color to dark red. He slowly released his scent. As soon as his scent reached Yunlan he turned his head towards Shen wei and growled at him menacingly.

Shen wei barred his teeth and growled in return [this action was to show his mate to bow down to their Alpha]. Yunlan immediately understood the signal and fell on his knees, showed his neck in obedience and whimpered. Shen wei sat down beside Yunlan and held him in his arms and purred slowly like a rumble calming his mate.
Yunlan got tired after he fought and the soothing purr he was receiving from his mate lulled him to sleep. His beast vanished inside his cage and Yunlan fell asleep in his mate's embrace.

All left a sign of relief. Mrs Zhao came running towards Yanli who fell unconscious after a loss of blood. Mr Zhao called their family doctor to look at his daughter and asked Shen wei to take Yunlan to his room.
Shen wei laid Yunlan on the bed and covered him with the blankets. He bought a towel from the bathroom and sat beside Yunlan. He wiped the sweat off his face and looked at him "His mate was dangerous. He should make sure not to let his mate get jealous". He smiled at Yunlan and gave a peck on his forehead and left the room.
