I know the title isn't scary, but this was something that happened years ago and it was defiantly odd. This happened in 2011 and 2012, and it happened multiple times. I have heard this 'noise' alone, with a few of my friends, and even my friend has told me she heard it inside a school!

So the first time, I was with my friend and we were sitting in my backyard lawn in the summer. It was summer of 2011 (I believe), and we were chatting with one another and watching bees and butterflies fly around. Suddenly while we were talking (and trust me, we weren't talking loud), this loud meowing noise could be heard. It was pretty loud too! It didn't really have an actual spot, but we concluded it came from the house's yard in front of us somewhere.
We both knew this was odd, so we called this noise the ghost cat.

The second time I heard it I was with another friend. This time we heard the meow near my house. It sounded like it was behind the side gate to my backward, which was about fifteen metres away. When we heard it, my friend mentioned that she heard the exact same meowing noise before. She had said that she has heard it in school, during one of her classes. She said the noise was coming from the corner of the room.

Since then, I've only heard that noise once more. I was just walking to school when I heard it somewhere from down the street.

Now I wonder, has anyone else ever heard a loud meowing noise ever? Where it just echoes and has no real source?
I am just wondering. It would be interesting if anyone else has heard this mysterious ghost cat.
