{Chapter Twenty-Eight}

The next morning I wake up to someone calling my name quietly. I huff and push my nose deeper into the intoxicating scent that I now easily recognize as Ian.

"Levy, get up." I feel someone tapping my shoulder so I finally open my eyes. I realize my face is buried in the crook of Ian's neck while his arms are tightly coiled around my left arm which is draped over his waist. I carefully pull my arm out of his grip to turn over so I can see just who is bugging me. It takes me a minute to realize it's my mom who's standing at the side of my bed with an arced brow.

"Yeah?" I ask with a yawn.

"You need to wake up, you have to be at school in an hour." She chides quietly and my brows furrow in distaste.

"Right, yeah. Okay." I mutter, sliding out of bed. I leave my room with her hot on my trail as I go to the laundry room.

"Who is sleeping in your bed?" Mom demands once we're in the laundry room. I shrug as I open the dryer to get Ian's now dry slacks and shirt.

"My boyfriend." I mutter dryly. I close the dryer and move to the kitchen to retrieve some breakfast for Ian. Of course Mom follows me while I look in the fridge, deciding to just get him some cereal. I pour the fruity cereal into a bowl and add milk before putting the milk back. I also go into the cupboard for the noproxen I know we have in case Mom or Dad go out with our aunt.

I find the small bottle and take two of the blue pills from the bottle, putting them in my pocket before placing the bottle back in the pantry.

"You have a boyfriend?" Mom asks in surprise and I finally turn to her. I pick up the bowl of cereal along with the clothes in my other hand and nod.

"Yes,"

"And he stayed the night..." She trails, an uncomfortable look crossing her face that makes me blush and look away.

"Oh God, no. He was just upset and feeling under the weather so he slept over." I assure, my face blazing at her assumption.

"Oh, good. Well, I have to go to work, honey. But I'll see you later. Your father already left, don't think about skipping school though. If you do you can't have friends over for a week." She adds sternly and I nod. I put the bowl back down on the table and move across the kitchen to give my mom a tight hug.

"I'll see you later, Ma." I say and pull back. She nods with a toothy smile before exiting the kitchen. I take the bowl in my hand again and carefully move back up to my room. Ian is, surprisingly, sitting up in bed awake.

"Hey, babe." I greet as I walk in, placing the bowl on the nightstand. He groans, rubbing his temples.

"Shh," he hushes and I silently laugh before taking the noproxen out of my pocket to hand to him.

"Take these, they'll help your head." I say in a whisper and he nods. He takes a large swig of the water before putting the pills in his mouth and swallowing.

"Thank you." He says, his voice raspy. I nod and motion to the bowl on the table.

"I didn't know what you would want but cereal is easy so I just got you some of that. I hope you don't mind it's a sugar cereal." I add. He shakes his head and begins eating it gratefully while I place his clean clothes on the bed in front of him. I move to my dresser to pull out a pair of tight black jeans, a less faded Metallica shirt, and a pair of clean black boxers.

"I'm sorry about your mom's flowers." I hear Ian say from behind me and I turn to him with a grin, completely forgetting about that. I probably should have told her when I gave her a hug but considering I didn't hear a traumatized scream I assume she hasn't noticed.

"It's okay, I don't mind. They weren't that pretty in the first place." I assure with a shrug. He nods slowly as he takes another bite of the cereal. I drop my eyes though and bite my lip. "Just don't do that again. Well, don't get drunk, you can puke in my mom's flowers again if you want." I add and receive a small twitch of a smile from Ian.

"I won't. I'm sorry I worried you." He replies and I nod, moving across the room to kiss him on the forehead.

"Finish your breakfast, I'll give you some mouthwash after I get dressed." I state and go into the bathroom. I change into my clothes then pour some mouthwash into a small cup after I brush my teeth and go back to my room. Ian finishes the last bit of milk from his bowl before taking the mouthwash and gargling, moving to the bathroom with his clothes where he spits it out and gets dressed.

"Levy," Ian calls while I grab my things off my nightstand, checking my phone for any new messages. I turn to him, only now realizing that he moved from across the room to right in front of me.

"Yeah?" He hugs me tightly, resting his head on my shoulder with his nose against my neck.

"I love you." He mumbles against my skin and I smile, hugging him to me just as tightly.

"I love you, too." I reply. We stay like that for a moment but soon I pull away and kiss him on the cheek. "Come on." I urge, handing him his slim phone that he shoves into his pocket before I take his hand.

We move through the house and after I lock the door behind me we get in my car. Ian directs me to his school which isn't too far away. I park in front of the school behind a silver van and Ian thanks me but I reach out to grab his wrist before he can leave. He turns to me in question and I smile.

"I'm going to pick you up after school, I want to talk to you and Jer." I add before I lean over to kiss him. I move my lips with his, savoring the sparks that ignite my body as our lips meld together. He pulls away, slightly out of breath, and smiles with a light pink blush tinting his cheeks.

"Okay, I'll see you then. I can't wait. I mean, I can, but I don't want to. I will though. Um, yeah... I'll see you after school." He mumbles before he leaves the car and I notice a few people are staring at him as he takes the front steps two at a time. I get ready to get out and teach them not to stare in case they bug Ian, but they all seem to leave him be so I drive away.

I barely park in the school parking lot before the bell rings and I sigh as I realize I have to go all the way to the office to get a late slip now.

~ ~ ~

School ends up being boring. The teachers have started to remind us of prom and graduation but that's it. While Jess was out sick today and Lydia simply talked with me about random stuff, though the conversation also went to our relationships.

Nothing other than that happened though, and I'm thankful when the final bell rings. I sigh in relief and make my way out of the horrible building that I'll probably miss once I graduate. I drive first to Ian's school, parking in front and waiting for him.

After a couple minutes I see him midst the crowd of students wearing identical uniforms as him. Although he seems to be rebelling with his black Converse while the other students are wearing dress shoes. I watch as he scans the curb, his eyes lighting when they land on my idling car. He hops off each step, loosening the navy blue tie around his neck as he moves to my car.

He slides in, tossing his bag in the back and I greet him with a kiss on the cheek. I put the car in drive and pull out of the school.

"So where are we going?" Ian asks once he unbuttons the top two buttons on his dress shirt.

"Jer's office." I reply, already knowing my mom is gone. I park under the same oak tree when I get to the building, the leaves on the familiar tree sprouting for spring and offering some shade from the heat.

"What are we going to talk about?" Ian asks though I wave his question off.

I had thought about it quite a bit during class, the fact that my mom now knows I'm with Ian. Then it occurred to me that no one knows about Jer, and though I don't think telling the whole town is a great idea, I think it would be best to tell our parents. They deserve to know, and they won't be as harsh as some people would.

We get out and I lead Ian into the office after checking for the receptionist's car-Julie! That's her name. I shake my head at that, realizing I couldn't remember her name for a better part of a month. Her white car is gone so we enter the building, cool air immediately envelopes us and chases away the warmth from outside.

Ian looks around in awe at everything while I lead him through the familiar building. I pass Mom's empty office and knock gently on Jer's door when we reach it. Jer opens with a smile when he notices us and ushers us in.

"Hey, I wasn't expecting you." He states, giving us each a hug. I shrug, moving to sit on the couch with Ian. I link my fingers with Ian's and motion for Jer to sit down so he takes a seat on the couch next to me.

"I want to tell our parents about us." I state, biting my lip. Ian stares at me and Jer drops his eyes but nods slowly.

"I think they deserve to know." Jer replies, though he sounds reluctant. I can understand that, I'm really scared to tell them, but like he said: they deserve to know.

"I think we should do it tomorrow." I add and both of them gape at me, their gray and gold eyes staring at me in disbelief.

"Wait, you can't tell your parents about this," Ian waves between the three of us before continuing. "On your birthday."

"I want to." I reply. Jer seems to be thinking of a way to convince me not to, but eventually he just nods.

"If that's what you want to do, that's what we'll do. I'm with you all the way, love." Jer assures and Ian squeezes my hand.

"Same here. I'm with you all the way...but I think you knew that. Yeah, that was pointless... I'll shut up." Ian adds and I chuckle.

"Thank you guys." I mumble and they nod. It's silent before Jer stands, looking down at us with a smile.

"Why don't you guys come over and we can watch a movie," he offers and I nod quickly as Ian does. So after Jer gathers his stuff and locks his office up we go to his house. Ian rides with Jer, apparently he likes Jer's SUV better than my baby, as if that's possible. When we get into the house Ian looks around in curiosity at Jer's house.

"Do you want something to drink or eat?" Jer asks as he slips his jacket off. I shake my head and take a seat on the couch while Ian looks around a bit before sitting down next to me.

"No thanks," Ian replies and Jer nods as he enters the living room. He turns the TV on and I grin when I realize he put on Ian's favorite movie-The Lion King. Ian grins and Jer takes a seat next to Ian, playing the movie.

It's calm and relaxing, so nice. To be with both of them, to just relax with them. It's so nice. And it only gets better when the movie is finished and I realize Ian is asleep on Jer. His head is resting comfortably against Jer's upper arm while his arms are wrapped around Jer's arm. I grin at that, resisting the urge to coo while Jer strokes Ian's hair comfortingly.

"I can't believe he fell asleep on you," I whisper, getting up from the couch to take a picture that I set as my background. Jer smiles down at Ian's relaxed, lightly snoring form.

"Me too," he replies, his smile turning soft before he looks back at me. "Should we wake him? It is getting a bit late." He adds. I sigh but nod solemnly. I know if I don't bring Ian home soon, Owen is going to murder me, he's probably freaking out already.

"Maybe we can get him in my car without him waking up." I reply hopefully but I doubt we can. We can try though. I wrap my arms around him and attempt to lift him but he mumbles incoherently before his eyes open to look at me tiredly.

"Sorry, babe, I have to get you home." I murmur. He yawns but nods, standing for himself but when Jer stands he opts to cling to Jer's arm. It's adorable. I lead the way to my car and Ian slides in after hugging Jer tightly, kissing him on the cheek.

"This was nice," Jer states, pulling me into his arms. I nod, moving to kiss him lightly.

"It really was," I agree and pull away. He locks his fingers with mine though for a moment.

"Happy early birthday, I may not remember to say it tomorrow. I'll talk to you later, love." He says and lifts my hand up to kiss my palm gently.

"I'll talk to you later, I love you, Jer." I reply before dropping his hand and getting into the car. I link my fingers with Ian's once I'm in the car and sigh as I drive. I won't be able to sleep tonight, I'll just be thinking of tomorrow. I'm nervous already.

So an awesome user (SyniaSidhe) took the time to draw that picture ^^^ for me of Jer & Ian when Ian falls asleep on Jer. It is perfect, and if you all have the time I would highly recommend their book Phony Potions it is just as good as the drawing. :) Thank you all and I hope you have a great day.~~
