*Mirai's POV*

*the next day*

I woke up stretching, wincing at the cuts and smiling. Today will be a brand new day. I got out of bed removing the bandages and setting the water for the bath. The cuts have mostly healed but still has some blood dripping. I took of my clothes and stepped into the water letting out a breath of relief. I soaped myself and washed my hair with a lavender scented shampoo, then rinsed.

*after the shower*

I got out and wrapped a towel around myself, drying myself. I blow dried my hair and put it in a ponytail. I was in desperate need of a haircut. I went into the bedroom and picked out the outfit of the day which consisted of white shorts, pink crop top and white converse.

I checked myself in the mirror. I must admit I look pretty good. I went downstairs to make some buttered toast with fruit and coffee. I really love Cass even after what happened but the single life is what I need. After all none can handle me and no one wants me so I was meant to be alone. I was shaken out of my thoughts by the toaster. I took out the toast and places two slices on a plate and buttered them up. I cut strawberries and bananas and placed them on a plate then poured coffee into the mug Cass got me. I sat at the breakfast bar and enjoyed my breakfast.

*after breakfast*
I cleared away my dishes then sat down in my office working on the files from the company my parents left me with. It was a bit more work than I did at Romans but I'm a workaholic, just sit me with a cup of coffee and I'll get any work done.

*2 hours later*

I filed the final document, signed the final contract and organized budgets and the employees pay within two hours. I defied logic. I got up and placed the work away deciding to go to the movie room for a movie. I checked through my selections and found Coraline, my absolute favorite and put it in. I nestled in the chair and ate my home cooked popcorn and enjoy the movie

*After the movie*

My phone started ringing. It was an unknown number. I answered it.

M= Mirai
C=Cass

M: Hello?

C: Hello? Mirai? Its me Cass! Where are you baby?

M: Don't. Call. Me. Baby

M: don't forget I'm a slut who cant keep her legs closed. How could you even say that. I didn't even know what was happening. I was drunk one day and under a trance the next. Why

I hang up

I threw my phone in the wall watching it break. I took up a new one and started crying. How could she? After what she did she had the nerve to call me. Well fat chance bitch I don't care. I got up and decided to head out. Some fresh air will do me good. I freshen up myself and leave the house. I walked around the block and my eye caught a stunning girl with jet black hair flowing to her shoulder. She was fairly shorter than me by an inch or two.

he looked quite gorgeous. U went over to introduce myself.

"Hi!" I said

"Hello," the girl said shyly

"My name is Mirai,"  I said

"I'm Ash, nice to meet you!" She said sticking her hand out

"Right back at you!" I replied closing the gap between our hands.

As soon as our hands connected I swear I felt sparks and so could she. We both blushed and looked away.

"So do you want to hang out?" I offered

"S-sure, my place or yours?" She stuttered cutely.

"Mine. I have a cool game and movie room if you want to check it out?" I answered

"OK!" She smiled

I returned the smile and grabbed her hand leading her to my home. We were both blushing but didn't pull away. We walked together hand in hand and somehow it felt right. I led her through my house to the game room, watching her blue eyes scan the home. We played in the game room for about an hour and nestled into the love seat in the movie room watching a comedy. She scooted closer to me where I invited her with loving arms. I cuddled her and kissed her forehead. She felt so right in my arms. The reason why I felt this way was because I thought she was.......
