*Mirai's POV*

*Next day*

My alarm went off. I got up wincing at the feel of my cuts. I smiled at the pain then got up. I would only be at work for half of the day. I wanted to get home before 12 so I can get to the airport by 1 pm and get on the plane by 1:30. I got in the shower and turned it on, wincing at the contact. Once I was done I got out and brushed my teeth and changed the bandages on my cuts. I placed on my clothes, wrote a note and made a bowl of lucky charms before getting to work.

*at work*

I walked through the front doors and went straight to my office. I locked the door and set a timer. I wrote my resignation letter and gave it to Ms Romans secretary. I went back and packed my boxes calling an Uber to get them shipped to the dock. I should get them next week. I sat down and completed some paperwork sending them to the mailing chute.

*at 12 pm*

I picked up my bag and walked out, calling an Uber. I got in and drove home to get my suitcases out. I asked for him to hold for a minute. Him being the kind person he is agreed and helped me get my suitcases out. I got back in and we drove to the airport where he again helped me and waited with me till my plane arrived. He was a good friend to me.  We exchanged numbers. I gave him the money and a hundred dollar tip and we went our separate ways. I gave in my ticket and got onto the plane, putting away my luggage. I sat at my window seat, buckling  up and putting in my earphones. I blasted my music and watched the plane take off.  No one needs me.

*2 hours later*

Here I was. Florida. Fresh start. After the plane landed I made sure to be the last to come off since my cuts have yet to heal. I  took out my luggage and came out. I saw my car waiting for me. The security handed me the keys and put my stuff into the car. I started it and drove off to my new home. Florida is such a beauty.

*10 minutes later*

I drove into the garage of my new home. It was 3 stories with a fountain in front and automatic gates. It was surrounded by nature, just how I like it. I drove up and punched in the code, the gate screeching open as the last number was put in. I drove in and parked in the garage. I got out bringing in my suitcases and unpacking.

I brought my stuff and left them in the best bedroom. Bedroom 3. I decided to drive to my parents to hear the ropes about the business before I take over. I found the money and hid them in a space in my wall. I found my pajamas and put them on and went to bed.

Hey, this chapter is just a continuation of the previous one. This book is so messed up....I'm messed up. I know Cass and Mirai are your favorite.... Only couple in this book but hint everything worked out in the end. I'm even considering a sequel to the book. Let me know.
