Rachel's POV

Karen, Mike, Lucy, Garrett and I were standing outside of the pack house and a black limo showed up.

Out came five people, two women and three men.

"Uncle Zaire?" Karen said shocked.

She walked to him and gave him a hug.

"I've missed you so much." She said tearing up.

"I've missed you too munchkin." He replied.

She pulled away and wiped her tears.

"Hello! Thank you all for taking the time to visit our pack, The Rogue Pack." Karen said. "I'm Karen, the Alpha. This is our Luna and my mate, Rachel, our Beta, Mike, our Gamma, Garrett, and our head warrior, Lucy." While Karen was introducing us, we all shook their hands.

"So this is the woman that got my baby sister all riled up?" Karen's uncle asked.

"The one and only." I smiled and he smiled at me.

"I know all about you both." He said.

"From reading up about our pack or from your sister?" Karen asked.

"A little bit of both." He replied.

Karen shrugged and she led us into the pack house.

"So, this is the pack house. This is where we all eat together or when we feel like eating together. It's smaller than most but all that's in here is my office, the Beta's office, the kitchen, dining room, living room, a couple of guest rooms, the rooms of the Alpha and Luna, the beta, and the gamma and head warrior, and a game room. Out back, we have a ten feet deep swimming pool and basketball court. We're thinking about adding a tennis court but we're not sure yet.

"We are in rogue territory but a lot of rogues know that this is here and they don't mess with us. If they want to join we put them through a series of tests to make sure they're not trying to cross us or anything." Karen explained as we walked around.

"Why don't they mess with you guys?" One of the ladies asked. She was African American and had black and gray long hair, but she still looked like she could pass for thirty.

"Because we have all been rogues before. We know almost every rogue because there aren't many. Even though they didn't want to join the pack, they're still our allies. We may provide some of them with food and/or a place to stay for the night but that's it. We sometimes cater to their liking only because we need allies but we also know where to draw the line." Lucy replied.

She wrote something down in a journal and they all started writing something down.

I looked nervous and Karen held my hand. She smiled and I smiled back. We got to the dining room and all of these foods were lined up and Sam stood behind it.

"That's a human." One of the men said.

"It is." I replied.

"Why is he here?" He asked.

"Because, he's our cook. When I met him, he got laid off and our pack was in dire need of a cook. He already knew about werewolves, he's had encounters with them before. I asked Karen and she said no. But I told her we have equal power and he became our cook. For a year, we fought over it but after a while, she started to accept him." I explained.

"I'm very good at what I do." He said.

They all walked to the table and tried some of the cake. After that, they tried the homemade cheese and turkey sandwich.

"The cheese is homemade." He said.

They were all surprised and put the food down and we continued waking through the pack.

Who I'm guessing is the leader, walked to Karen and I and asked, "Why did you start a new pack? What was the meaning of that?"

She looked him in the eye and replied, "I was meant to be alpha at Blood Moon. I was kicked out by my own family because I threatened to kill my brother if he ever talked about my mate and I. I didn't appreciate him making fun of Rachel and I was going to defend my mate."

I looked at him and a woman who had white hair said, "I wonder how the Moon Goddess set that up."

"Set what up?" I asked confused.

"Two women as mates." She replied.

Karen started shaking and I squeezed her hand.

"This is the reason we made this pack. So we wouldn't have to hear the crap you're saying."

"Karen." I said sternly.

"I will not stand here and be criticized by people because my mate is a woman. All of these rouges here have been kicked out because they were different. Some of them have left because they don't like the way stuff was ran which is why we do things different. The Moon Goddess created us all differently with different plans for us. Me and Rachel were created to show everyone that we can be powerful while being different. Love isn't defined by gender. Love is defined by how you feel. If you feel it and can't describe it, then you know you're in love." Karen said.

Zaire put his hand on Karen's shoulder and gave her a reassuring smile. "You're doing a good job Karen. A natural, just like me."

She laughed and gave him a hug. "Thank you."

For the rest of the day, we showed around the council and Karen got closer to her uncle.

"Bye Uncle Z. I love you." Karen said hugging him.

"Bye Munchkin. I'm proud of you."

She teared up and he turned to me. "You're a perfect fit for Karen. Thank you."

"You're welcome." He gave me a hug and I smiled.

Karen wrapped an arm around my waist and Lucy was talking to Mike and Garrett.

We all waved goodbye and when they left, we all had a dinner.

"What were they writing down?" Lucy asked.

"I guess stuff about our pack. I don't know and I don't care." Karen replied, drinking some wine.

"Everyone did well today." I said.

"Mhm." Karen nuzzled her nose in my neck.

"Stop, you're grossing them out." I told Karen.

"They'll be fine. We're mates." She replied.

I laughed and drank some water.

"We're going to bed, try not to be too loud." Karen said, tugging my arm.

We got to our room and I took a shower first, then Karen.

"Goodnight love."

"Goodnight Kar."

I don't have anything to say other than the Olympics are really freaking intense. I can't wait until track and field comes on.

Bye lovelies!
