Karen's POV

I went to my office and my phone was ringing off the hook.

"Hello?"

"Karen."

"What."

"I heard you have a pack now."

"It's been a while and news travels faster than a STD. I already know what you're going to ask and the answer is fuck no."

"You wouldn't want to come to my birthday party? I figured we could talk business."

"You called my place for a damn invitation? You had your chance to talk business with me and you missed it."

"Alpha Cory is going to be there."

"I don't know why. You didn't show up to his party."

"I already gave him my regrets. The spot is still open if you change your mind."

I hung up and walked to the kitchen. Sam was making breakfast and I grabbed a water bottle. I drank it angrily and told Sam hey. I got back to my office and I started doing paperwork.

Rachel walked in the office and I could feel that she was upset. I went in her mind to see what she was thinking but she put a block up.

"What's wrong, love?" I asked.

"Nothing. Have you eaten?" "I only have this water bottle. I haven't been up for long." "I'll go get you a plate."

I grabbed her hand and walked to her. "Rachel, I know you're upset. What's wrong? You know I'll fix whatever problem you have."

"I'm scared to tell you."

"Why baby? You know I don't like it when you aren't happy."

"Because you'll think that I don't want you and that's not the truth."

"What is it?"

"I want to have kids."

I looked at her and she continued. "I dreamt that while our pack was getting bigger and stronger, everyone had kids and we didn't. We don't have anyone to take over when we die or decide to step down."

I kissed her and told her, "I would love to have kids, darling."

"Really? You don't think that I want to be with a dude just so I can have kids?" She asked.

"Of course not. How about we go searching for some teenage rogues and see if any of them want to be our child?"

"I would love that. Thank you so much baby!" She kissed me and I realized that she was perfect for being Luna. She cares about having kids while I care about the pack and keeping it safe.

I walked upstairs to get changed into a tank top and jeans. I put on converse and she walked in to change into a graphic tee and a red skirt. She put on converse and took my hand.

"Let's go." I said.

I mind linked Mike to tell him what we were doing and he said okay and Rachel and I started walking towards rogue area.

"Can we find a little baby?" Rachel asked me.

"We'll find whoever you want love." I replied kissing her cheek.

She giggled and we found some rogues.

"Hey!" I said.

They looked at me and Rachel and looked shocked.

Which one do you want baby?

Those two girls.

The ones that look like they can't stand each other?

Yeah, those two. They're close.

"Girl in beanie, what's your name?" I asked.

"Cara."

"Girl in gray sweater, what's your name?"

"Tiana."

"You two, come with us." I told them.

"And why would they do that?" An older guy asked.

"Because I want kids and since we obviously can't have kids, I want those two." Rachel said.

"Why not any of the other people?"

"If they want to come with us they can. We have a pack filled with nothing but rogues." I explained.

"You're Alpha Karen?" He asked shocked.

"Yeah."

"You guys, this woman is a saint. We'll come with you." He said.

"Okay." Rachel and I looked at each other confused and we walked back to the pack grounds. We got to my office and I pulled out paperwork.

"Fill this out." I told them.

They grabbed the paperwork and started reading it.

"What if I don't want to be a part of the pack?" Cara asked.

"Typical of you. They're trying to help you out and you're being ungrateful." Tiana replied.

"Screw you, bitch!"

"Right back at you!"

"Stop!" I yelled.

My alpha voice didn't work on them but I was a rogue for a while so they did listen to me then.

"If you don't want to be a part of the pack that's fine. But, if Rachel doesn't want you to go then you won't go." I said.

"That's your mate?" Cara asked.

"Yes, she is."

"Oh my god, I've never heard of a lesbian couple and running a pack."

"Uh, she said earlier they can't have kids. Were you not paying attention?" Tiana said.

"You know, I'm about two seconds from kicking your ass all the way back to Vancouver."

"Did you say Vancouver?" I asked.

"Yeah, why?"

"Are all of you from Blue Moon?"

They all nodded and I muttered under my breath, "Fuck."

"Is something wrong?" The guy asked.

Mike, come to my office quick. I need you to take these wolves here in different interrogation rooms.

"I need all of you to follow Mike." I said.

"Who's Mike?" Tiana asked.

Just then, Mike walked in and I said, "That's Mike."

They all followed him and I growled in frustration.

"How could I be so stupid?"

"What honey?" Rachel asked.

"Blue Moon. How could I have not recognized their scent? They could all be spies."

"Karen, I'm pretty sure they're not spies."

"How do you know? My old pack and Blue Moon have beef with each other."

"That doesn't mean us and Blue Moon can't be allies."

"Rachel, you don't get it. Blue Moon raided our pack when I was little and killed pack members. One of them was my uncle on my dad's side."

"Is your Uncle Zaire on your mom's side?" She asked.

"Yeah. He helped out in sending them away."

"Are we going to Alpha Alex's party?" She asked.

"Fuck no." I replied.

"Karen, we have to make an appearance."

"No the fuck we don't."

"Karen, we're going. We haven't seen Roxanne and Taylor and Colton in forever."

I rolled my eyes and she said, "They were the only ones who didn't judge us."

"That means seeing your brother and Austin."

"Karen, we've never let horrible people affect what we want to do. We're going to show them what they're missing. We're not going because they're our family, we're going because we're leaders of a pack and we have a reputation to uphold."

"Okay, Rachel. We'll go." I said giving in.

"Yay. Thank you so much darling." She kissed me softly and left to go get ready. I walked to the interrogation rooms with my folder and walked into the first room.

The guy was there and he didn't look happy.

"I was the one who advised everyone to join your pack and you throw us all in interrogation rooms?"

"Shut up, at least you aren't in the cells." I told him sitting down.

"Why are we here?" He asked.

"You guys are from Blue Moon. I don't like Blue Moon, at all."

"Yes, we left because we didn't like how we were treated over there."

"Tell me more." I leaned back and put my feet on the table and ate some fruit snacks.

"I don't like the alpha. His tactics are unnecessary and we still aren't strong enough to beat the Blood Moon pack."

"Why do you want to beat Blood Moon? Are you guys trying to wage some type of war?" I asked writing stuff down.

"Yes, but the five of us left. I was helping out but I don't even know why we're starting a war. I guess power is the reason."

"I see." I got up and went to the next room.

In the room was Tiana.

"Hello."

"Hi, soon to be mother."

I smiled and she said, "I can't stand Cara. She always feels like she's entitled to stuff because she was friends with the alphas daughter. She bullied me and we fought to the death until her friend came and kicked me out. She kicked out Cara when she found out she was sleeping with her boyfriend. Stupid slut."

"Did you know about the war your former pack was planning?"

"I've hard rumours but Blue Moon wants to wage a war against every strong pack. That's their weakness, they're too power hungry."

"You're right about that."

I left and walked into another room. In that room was Cara.

"Hello."

"Hi." She replied quietly.

"I heard that you were quite the lady at your old pack."

"If you're referring to me as a slut, I've heard it all before and then some."

"Did you know about the war?"

"Which one?"

"There are more than one?" I asked.

"Yeah. Three to be exact. One for Blood Moon, New Moon, and Red Claw. They're gonna attack all at the same time."

"Fuck." I got up and went to my office, not bothering to talk to the other two people.

I called Alpha Corey and asked him if he was going to the party.

"Of course I am Karen. That would be petty of me not to show up."

"We need to talk business there. See you in a bit."

I hung up the phone and called Mike in the office.

"What's up?" He asked.

"I need you to take over for the night. Make sure border patrol is sealed tightly and the guards are on their shit. Put the people in the interrogation room all in the same cell and have the hidden cameras record and watch them. They could be spies from Blue Moon."

"Alright, you got it boss." He replied.

"Thank you. And tell Lucy to train everyone hard. We may be going to war." I got up and walked to my room.

I walked in and Rachel was laying on the bed.

"Rachel?" I asked concerned.

She stirred and looked at me. "What's wrong?"

"I thought something happened to you." I said kissing her all over her face.

She giggled and kissed me. "I'm fine. Just fell asleep waiting on you."

I nodded and I got ready for the party at my old pack. Please, save me.

Wassup everyone! Some information, I start school on Monday so I'll only be able to really publish on the weekends. If I don't, do not fret, it's because I'm busy. Before I go into my last year of high school, I'll try and publish a lot of stories. Key word try. If I don't, I'm sorry, I'm only human.
