"Remind me why I agreed to this?" I stared Nathan and Jax down.

"Because you love us and want to spend time with us." Jax smiled at me and tilted his head innocently.

"I may love you guys, but I hate bowling." I crossed my arms and Nathan patted my head and moved past me to grab a ball.

"After this we can do something you want to do, okay?"

I rolled my eyes but nodded anyway, a small smile making its way onto my face.

"You know," Jax moved closer to me and leaned in to whisper by my ear, "at least pretend to like it a little so Nathan doesn't feel so bad about losing this bad." He nodded to the score board and I almost lost it. He was right, Nathan was terrible at this.

"You're right. I'll see what I can do." I stood up. "Nathan?" He turned to look back at me, a smile tilting the corners of his lips. I gestured towards the scoreboard and smiled. "You suck, loser."

"Why should I buy the ice cream? You were mean to me!"

"Well, because!" I glared at Nathan as he tried to get out of buying the ice cream.

"That's not a real reason!" He threw his hands in the air and rolled his eyes.

"Shut up, both of you." Jax pulled his wallet out with a loud, dramatic sigh and paid. He leaned over and pressed a kiss to both of our heads before leading us to a table. Nathan and I followed behind him like puppies, both of us looking guilty.

"Sorry." He nodded at my apology and we all sat down.

We quietly ate our ice cream and left.

"Now what?" I turned to Jax and laced my fingers with his.

"Anything you want, baby."

I thought for a moment, my mind going through all the possible things we could do.

Movies? No. Go eat? Nah. Go to the park? Now that was a good idea. I turned back to Jax. "The park?"

He smiled at me and patted my head. "Of course we can."

I smiled and we turned and headed to the park. As soon as it was in sight I practically sprinted yo the swings, Nathan laughed at me but I didn't care. I hadn't been on a swing in so long. I immediately began kicking off the dirt and swinging my legs back and forth.

"Do you want me to push you?" Nathan grabbed on to the chains and I nodded. He pushed me a few times and then let me swing alone, sitting down on the swing next to me. Jax sat at a bench a little ways away from us.

"Can I talk to you about something?" Nathan looked nervous as he asked me. His eyes wouldn't meet mine.

"Of course you can, Nathan."

"I don't talk about it much, but I do have a subspace. I'm not one hundred percent dominant, as I'm sure you know by now." I fought back a giggle as his cheeks turned red, both of us recalling the day Jax caught us playing together and 'punished' us. Heat pooled in my core at the thought. "I was just making sure you're okay with that?"

I tilted my head in confusion. "What? Why wouldn't I be? Of course that's okay, Nathan. It's part of you and I love you."

He smiled brightly at me and laughed a little. "I love you too, Angel."
