"Daddy, hey, wake up."

"Hmm?"

"Daddy, wake up!"

"Angel? Lay back down it's still early."

"Okay okay, you sleep." I turned and left Nathan's room, making my way into Jax's.

"Papa, wake up."

"Wha-?"

"Papa, get up, I have something to show you and Daddy won't wake up."

"Hm? Sweetheart?"

I pouted and poked his nose. "Wake up!" I smacked him on his shoulder and he jolted. He sat up and rubbed his face before turning to me.

"What is it?"

"I colored! Do you wanna see?" Jax just peered at me through the dark for a moment before jumping out of bed and running out of the room. I got up and followed him out, trailing behind him curiously as I tried to think of why he wanted to look in all of the rooms.

"What you looking for?"

"Baby where did you-" He stopped as soon as he saw me.

"Look! I colored!" I spun around so he could see the purple and yellow swirls on my skin. "Isn't it pretty, Papa?"

"Astrid."

I shrunk back. "Yes?"

"Why did you color on yourself?"

"You don't like it?" I felt my eyes fill with tears and I began to cry.

"No, baby that's-" I didn't stay to listen, I turned and ran to my Daddy's room.

"DADDY!"

"What! What is it? What happened?" Nathan was clearly confused at seeing me crying in his room while Jax crashed through his bedroom door, not able to see much with the lights off. "Angel? What's wrong."

"He doesn't like my coloring!"

"What? Jax?"

Jax took a deep breath and help up his finger. "Look at what she colored first." He flicked on the light and the brightness washed over my underwear clad form. Nathan's eyes widened as he took in the colored swirls inked onto my skin.

"Do you like it, Daddy?"

He made a strangled noise in his throat. "I-"

I set a concerned hand on his chest. "Okay?"

"I-i'm fine, Angel."

"Do you like my coloring?" I could hear Jax laughing behind me, but I was ignoring him because he's mean.

"Y-yea, it's very pretty, Angel. Why don't you color it on paper next time so we can keep it."

I set my hand on my chin and thought about it for a second. "Okay!"

"Let's get you a bath, hm?"

I giggled and reached for him.

"Baby, stop kicking and eat."

I hummed lightly and stilled my feet, lifting another piece of bacon into my mouth. I smiled at Jax after I swallowed the food in my mouth. He just shook his head and turned back to his own food.

"Alright, Angel, I'm off to work. I love you and I'll see you later. Jax, I love you and I'll see you later." He pressed a kiss to both of our heads and left.

I turned back to Jax and gave him another bright smile. He just rolled his eyes and took another bite.

"This should be fun."
