"Collin. Stop."

"What? I'm not doing anything."

"Stop spinning like that, you'll get hurt."

"Astrid, babe, if they weren't meant for me to spin, they would not be spinny chairs." He gave me a 'duh' face, and pushed off using the table in front of us.

I just sat back and watched as the man child in front of me spun in his chair too fast and fell off. He let out a girly shriek and laid on the floor for a solid five minutes.

"Get up, Collin."

"I can't, I'm dead."

I sighed and rolled my eyes before hauling him back
up into his chair.

"I swear I'm going to stop eating lunch with you."

"No you won't. Unless you're planning to leave me for those two boys again."

I just looked at him.

"You're not are you?"

More staring.

"Astrid?"

I didn't move a muscle and fought hard to keep from laughing.

"You are! You're gonna leave me for them again, you whore! How could you?"

"Collin."

"No, leave me alone. Your betrayal is already too much, any more and my heart will split in two."

"Collin, shut up, I'm not leaving you. You're so dramatic."

"Yea but you love me!"

I rolled my eyes and threw a fry at him, spinning my chair slowly.

"Hey! How come you can spin and I can't?"

"Because I, am an adult. You, act like a child."

"Why are you so mean to me, Astrid? You're such a bully."

I rolled my eyes at his pouting face and stood. "I'm going back to work." I threw my trash away and got back to it.

"I'm back!"

"In here, Angel!"

I made my way into the kitchen to see Nathan and Jax sitting down looking very serious.

"We need to talk."

My mind reeled trying to figure out if this was the breakup talk or if I was in trouble.

"It's nothing bad, baby. Sit down."

Reassured by Jax's words I sat across from them and waited for them to speak.

"Nathan and I have been talking and we think it would be beneficial for you to move in with us." I opened my mouth only to be stopped by Jax raising his hand. "You stay here all the time, and only go home for clothes. I doubt you even have food in your apartment at this point. It's a waste of money and we would like for you to stay with us."

"I agree with what you're saying, but can I have some time to think about it? Just to make sure I'm not just jumping into it without thinking it through?"

"Of course, Angel. Take your time, and let us know what you decide. It's completely up to you and we support whatever your decision is."

I nodded at them both and stood up. "I think it's best if I stay at my apartment tonight, so I can have some space to think."

Nathan looked pained but Jax nodded. "Take your time, baby. We'll be here."

"Okay well I love you guys, goodnight." I turned and walked towards the door before freezing. Did I just-

"What did you just say?"

"Uh, I said 'goodnight'?"

"Angel-"

"Wow! Would you look at the time? I better get going!"

Jax's arms wrapped around me. "I love you too, baby. Have a goodnight." He kissed my forehead and moved away.

"Angel? I love you too. Sweet dreams, babygirl."

I nodded and rushed out of their apartment and into mine, almost dropping my keys multiple times.

"Holy fuck! Okay I did that, okay wow. I need a shower and pasta immediately."

After showering and making spaghetti, I sat at the table and ate my food. I just felt so alone. It was so quiet without Nathan irritating me, and empty without Jax finding some way to touch me at all times. It felt lonely.

"Guess I'll....just go to bed then?"

I got up and moped my way to bed and laid down alone. I tossed and turned for a while. The bed felt so big and cold. Had it always been this way? How had I never noticed this? Had I always felt this alone? Had I always been this alone?

"Astrid? What are you doing in my room?"

"I'll move in with you guys, okay? You have to let me stay the night. I don't want to be alone."

He moved over and I climbed in, sighing in content as his arms wrapped around me and I snuggled up to him.

"I love you, goodnight."

"Goodnight. I love you too, Angel."
