"This hurts."

"Good. Stay there."

"But it hurts." A glare.

"You're fine. Stay put."

"Jax-" a look, "Daddy, my knees hurt. I've been kneeling forever."

"Baby," he crouched in front of me, "it's been two minutes."

"My knees were bruised already! Can I please get up?"

He stood and regarded me for a moment, looking ready to say "no" before suddenly smirking. "Ask me properly."

I blushed. "Can I please get up, Daddy?" I looked away.

He lightly guided my face back to him with a finger. "Can you look at me and ask?" I quickly shook my head. He sighed. "You can get up."

I scrambled to my feet and turned to face him. "What's next?"

Jax just eyed me for a second, looking me up and down. "Come here." He walked to the kitchen and sat down in a chair patting his lap. I slowly made my way over to stand in front of him. As soon as I was within distance, he grabbed me and pulled me into his lap, my legs on either side of him.

"You're doing so good." I layed my head on his shoulder and just relaxed as he brought his hand up to run it through my hair. "You know you're doing such a good job, right?"

"Am I really?"

"Yes. You're doing really well. I'm so proud of you." I just smiled and wrapped my arms around him, snuggling deeper into his chest.

"Honey! I'm home!" I sighed and ignored Nathan's voice, keeping my head down and eyes closed. "Guys?"

I felt Jax's chest move as he laughed. "We're in here." He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer to his chest.

"Hi, how did her training go? Is she asleep?"

"It went well and I guess she fell asleep." I felt Jax lightly poke my side, letting me know he wasn't fooled. I stiffled a giggle, but sat up anyway.

"I'm up." I waved at Nathan before laying my head back down. I heard him walk over to us, his feet stopping right behind me. I felt his lips press a kiss to my head.

"How was your day, Angel?" I just hummed tiredly and pressed my cheek harder into Jax.

"It was okay."

"Oh! There's something I meant to tell you." I hummed again.

"There's a pissed off redhead banging on your apartment door with that guy you work with." Fuck.

"Guys please put a scary movie on. I'll scream if I have to watch another weird ass movie." I folded my arms across my chest and glared at my two friends.

"If you pick something that isn't scary, you can have your turn." Talia flipped her hair over her shoulder and gave me a superior look.

"Or", Collin butted in, "you can tell us what it's like to bed your neighbors."

"Just put The Outsiders in and sit down." He smirked and gestured for Talia to put the movie on.

"Wait, no. I'm interested." I groaned and flopped back against the couch knowing she'd irritate me about it until I told her. "Tell me. Are they big?"

I glared at her. "I haven't seen them naked. We haven't been together that long."

She sighed in disappointment and turned to Collin. "Where did we go wrong", she wailed, "why hasn't she fucked them! We taught you better than this!" She turned her glare back on me. "I'm dragging you back to their place and you need to jump them!"

I just watched her. "We messed around?" I immediately regretted offering up that bit of info as soon as I said it. She pounced on me.

"What do you mean you messed around? I need details!" Her eyes widened and she began to shake me. "Tell me everything!"

"I think we're gonna need this." We both looked over to see Collin holding two bottles of wine. He poured us all glasses and they sat across from me.

"Jeez, it's like middle school all over again." Talia dramtically gestured for me to start my story. I gulped down my glass and handed it to Collin for him to pour me another. "Okay so, remember that night we got super drunk?"

°°°°°

"I have to...I gotta leave." I slowly stood up, giggling at Collin as he snored on the floor. I looked around trying to find Talia. "Oh, she's gone." I shrugged and made my way outside to my car. "No, no. No drunk driving." I laughed loudly at myself and grabbed my phone. I dialed Nathan's number and waited for him to answer.

"Hi! Come get me? Please?" I stumbled slightly over a curb as I made my way into my car.

"Where are you? What's wrong with your car?"

"Don't be silly Nat, I can't drive drunk. I'm at Talia's, I'll send you her house... her address." I hung up before he could respond and layed my head back against the headrest. I layed there until my phone buzzed a few minutes later.

Dumbass: the address?

Oh shit, I forgot all about that. I quickly let him know where I was and layed my head back down. I was so tired.

"Astrid, hey get up. Come on, it's time to go." I groaned and rolled out of my car. "Here, give me your keys." He snatched them out of my hands and clicked the lock button. I jumped as the car's lights flashed behind me, tripping over my own feet. I smiled at Nathan as he caught me.

"Wow. My hero." I laughed at my own bad joke and allowed Nathan to drag me to his car.

"Come on, get in." He put me in the seat and buckled me up. He climbed in and began driving. I slid my hand up his thigh and rested it in the middle. "What are you doing?"

I smirked and leaned closer. "You're my hero, let me repay you." I slid my hand higher.
