“Guess who kind of like, faked their own death, on accident? Me! I mean, what a crazy world, am I right?”

Jisung was spinning around in his desk chair, staring up at the ceiling. One day he would look back on these video journals and cringe.

“Apparently, NASA didn't even tell Channie and Binnie that I'm still alive, so technically, everyone still thinks I'm dead. That's always fun.”

He let his feet drag on the floor, slowing him down slightly.

“And Minho is being all stupid and cute and he didn't even do anything, which doesn't make sense. Does anything about him make sense? I mean..”

He'd come to a complete stop.

“You know what I need to do? Stop thinking about Minho. But uh, it's really hard, considering that I have a guilty mind and a loT of time on my hands.”

Jisung stood up, switching off the camera again and sighing.

These days just seemed to be dragging on, and he didn't know how much more he could take. It really wasn't looking like he'd be rescued anytime soon, so he'd better get used to it.

The mentally exhausted male made his way over to his makeshift greenhouse, observing the tally marks he had previously drawn on the misty plastic.

According to the small red dashes, he'd been on the red planet for quite a while.
He shook his head, stumbling over to a bed and flopping on it.

It really, really sucked, not having internet. Normally, Jisung would slump on a couch and scroll his heart out on Pinterest or Instagram whenever he was bored. But, for obvious reasons, he couldn't do that anymore and it was really cramping his style.

Rolling around on the bed, Jisung's arm came in contact with something hard. He shot upwards, clutching his wrist in pain. He'd accidentally bumped into a book that he must've forgotten to put away the other day.

Since he didn't really have anything else to do yet, Jisung began to read it. Although it was a rather odd thing to think about, the book smelled like home to him. That night, he sank into a peaceful sleep for one of the first times in a while.
