🦋She's a queen with or without you.🦋

Raelynn's pov:

"Mind introducing me?" The lady leaned on Kyson's side as her hand dropped on his thigh.

"Val," Kyson spoke.

"Right, These two are the Rebel Twin, Ryker and Raelynn." Val started the introduction and the fact that he mention the rebel twin means that the lady was in the mafia too.

Great...

"She is Cassandra,"

"And the bit-I mean Lady here is Erica, Kyson's companion for the night," Val said dryly earning a glare from Kyson and a giggle from Erica.

Okay.

I grabbed my champagne, silently sipping on the drink.

"Here comes the food," I heard Theodore say.

The catering group started to serve the food. For the first time, we got some delicious food. By the end of the dinner, everyone was complimenting about how nice the food was.

"I need to meet the chef," Theo stated as he ate the last piece of his chocolate dessert.

"He makes better food than you," Erica commented.

So she also tasted Theo's food...

Theo chuckled humourlessly, "Salty bitch get salty foods."

Erica scoffed.

Something tells me that they don't get along much...

"And sweet people get sweet treats," Theo added before briefly glancing at me.

Like the delicious breakfast, he made for me...

Erica turned to Kyson and I couldn't help but notice that her hand was rubbing his thigh under the table, "Can you tell your friends to stop being mean to me,"

"Hmm," Cassandra abruptly stood up, "We are going out."

She then turns to me, "Are you coming?"

"Yeah," I stood up grabbing my purse.

Natalie, Cassandra and I walked away from the table to the backyard exit. We got a few eyes on us as we walked by one of the gents' tables, all businessmen in suited clothes and looking good.

"Hey, can we stop by the table and grabbed some cocktail, it looks delicious," Cassandra asked us.

"Sure," Natalie and I agreed.

We went to one of the big tables where there were snacks and juices. Cassandra grabbed one of the cocktails and tried it, "Oh lord it is good."

"Thank you,"

We turned to our side and saw a lady in a gold dress standing by the table.

"Hi, I'm Kate." She introduced herself.

"Hi,"

"I'm sorry I overheard your conversation," she apologised.

"You said thank you, did you make these?" Cassandra asked curiously.

"Yes, I'm the head of the catering group. All the foods, snacks and drinks were supervised and made by me." She answered with a smile.

"Dinner was delicious," I said honestly.

"Thank you, I'm glad you like it. It's the first time that I'm doing a charity event, usually, I do personal events or birthday events and I was scared that people might not like the food." She explained.

"Nonsense, everyone loved it," Cassandra reassured her.

"Yeah, my brother adored your food," Natalie added.

"Oh, your brother is here?"

"Yeah..." Natalie turned around and pointed at Theo, who was wearing a grey suit.

"He is your brother," Kate said, making Natalie look at her.

"You know him?"

"Kinda, like I said I do personal events and I think I saw him in a meeting event." I could tell Kate was choosing every word wisely.

"You saw him at a mafia meeting," I stated making Kate's eye widen slightly.

"Huh, hmm, yeah." She murmured.

We chuckled.

"By the way, I'm Natalie, she's Cassandra and she is Raelynn."

"Raelynn as in the Rebel twin?" She asked lowly, quite intrigued.

"You know a lot about the mafia, don't you?" I replied to her question with another question.

"Well, I sometimes hear things at parties." She admitted.

"And they say woman gossips," Cassandra stated sarcastically.

"True," we all agreed.

"Excuse me?"

We turned around and saw four of the men that were sitting earlier at the gents' table standing in front of us.

"Yes?" Cassandra asked politely.

"Hi, sorry for disturbing you. We were hoping we could talk to you." One of them said.

"Or at least get one phone number." Another one talked.

"Sorry, but we don't give our numbers to strangers," I said firmly.

They chuckled, "Come on, how will you get a boyfriend if you don't do so?"

"Who said we don't have a boyfriend?" Cassandra asked pointedly.

"Well, four pretty girls standing alone in the corner... it's obvious." The third one answered.

"Thanks for the compliment, but none of us is interested," Kate remarked and we could all agree with her.

"Oh come on," The first one flashes us a wide smile before walking forward toward me. I remained idle which made him surprised as he was hoping I would back up.

"I think by now you must have realised that you are messing with the wrong girl here," I said taking another step closer to him.

I reached to grab his tie, pulling it and tightening it around his neck while I gave him a smile, "I would suggest you go back to your seat and enjoy the night. If I see any of you looking at us, we might have a problem and mind you I always deal with my problems."

I removed my hand and took a step back," Have a nice night gentlemen."

They glanced at each other before walking away silently.

"As long as she is with us, we are good for the night." I heard Cassandra's comment.

My eyes suddenly met with Kyson who was staring at me from the table. Erica was still clinging to his side talking but his focus was on me and he looked pissed.

I felt someone grab my arm and I shift my gaze away from him.

"Let's go out, we'll be more quiet and alone," Kate suggested.

"Sure,"

We made our way to the backyard.

There were only a few ladies taking pictures by the tree but otherwise, this area was calm and quiet.

"I see some benches over there," Natalie said as she walks ahead of us.

"I hope you don't mind me tagging along with you," Kate suddenly said.

"Of course not," I reassured her.

"I recently join the group too," Natalie told Kate.

"And we are the old members," Cassandra commented making us laugh.
