🦋You ever look at someone and be like damn you really a liar... Like you just don't stop!🦋

Raelynn's pov:

Five fights later, we were still standing looking at the ring. This was the last fight for the gangs and after the five minutes break the mafias will start.

"I'm going to the washroom," I told Kyson since he was the only one besides me. He gave me a nod.

I walked through the crowd, making my way to the washroom. Luckily all the stall was empty and clean. I did my business and I stepped out of the stall.

I stopped in my track when I found Malcolm leaning against the wall, his eyes fixed on me.

"Didn't know you change sexuality," I commented.

He looked at me confused, "What?"

"Otherwise why would you be in the woman's washroom," I stated.

He chuckled humourlessly.

"Not gonna lie, I didn't miss that sarcasm of yours." He spoke, pulling himself away from the wall.

"Does it look like I care about what you miss or not?" I asked dryly.

"You should." He started. "You know like the old times..."

Kyson's pov:

"You should." He started. "You know like the old times..."

When Raelynn was making her way to the washroom, I saw Malcolm following her. Needless to say, I follow them. However, I didn't step into the woman's washroom like some idiot but I stayed outside. I could hear them clearly.

"...when you begged me to stay because you love me."

"People learn from mistakes Malcolm, they don't repeat the same mistakes," Raelynn stated with a firm tone.

"I have been watching you all night, especially with this piece of shit-"

I clenched my fist.

"The only person that deserves that title is you." She interrupted him.

He chuckled, "You two are close huh? Do you think he will stick around you or will he leave your ass just like I did... I mean you can have multiple men with that body you have, but having one man to love you especially when you are a bitch, sorry, a cold-hearted bitch that's not gonna happen and you know it."

There was a long silence.

Is she okay?

"Wow, you choose the perfect words that you know will hurt me... but, that would have worked on the old Raelynn of five years ago. Today all those words just wanna make me laugh." Raelynn chuckled darkly.

I smiled.

"You are right, I'm a cold-hearted bitch and this is the reason I'm known for being one of the most feared mafia leaders, unlike someone who is standing in front of me right now judging me." She stated.

Malcolm remained silent.

"Again you are right, I can have any man I want... but only one lucky person will have me and it won't be you... You envy Kyson, don't you? You know he's better than you and more powerful than you."

I feel flattered...

I heard Raelynn chuckle again.

"See you are not the only one who can play with words."

"Oh please, he might be powerful and dangerous but I don't give a fuck. I know you both are pretending to be together so stop this useless acting. My mafia is falling apart and I need a successful partner to join me. Stop this madness with him and come with me."

What the fuck is he talking about?

Raelynn scoffed.

"Are you listening to what you are saying? You used me and left me five years ago... now you come back and ask to use me again for your selfish reason! Get the fuck out of here." She spat disgustingly.

I moved and stood at the entrance of the doorway. Raelynn was fuming with anger, her jaw clenched, both her hands in a fist as she glared at Malcolm.

"You little-"

"Raelynn," I called out before Malcolm take a step forward.

"Big man to the rescue," Malcolm taunted.

"From what I heard, she was enough for you," I stated.

Raelynn turned around to wash her hands before she walked past him and made her way to me.

"Let's go," she says, still angry.

I grabbed her arm, stopping her. She looked up at me, giving me a questioning look. I reached to put her hair behind her ear before cupping her face with the same hand. I slowly rub my thumb on the soft skin on her cheek.

She looked into my eyes, the anger fading from her eyes.

"Are you okay?" I asked, my voice low.

She took a couple of seconds before nodding.

"Yeah," she answered.

"Can I get a smile as confirmation?" I asked making her furrow her eyebrows.

"A smile?" She repeated.

"Yeah, a smile... it isn't too hard," I said playfully.

She chuckled, "Look who is talking. You barely do it and yet you are requesting one."

"I don't like to... but it suits you well. So, can I see one from you?" I asked.

"You know sometimes when you ask someone to smile, it becomes an awkward smile... like right now if I do it, it will be one." She pointed out

"Let me be the judge of it," I simply said.

She let out a sigh before moving her lips in a cute smile.

"Now that's what I'm talking about."

She rolled her eyes, "Right."

I removed my hand from her cheek and buried it in my pocket.

"Bullshit," A grumpy voice behind her. Malcolm moved forward glaring at us.

"I almost forgot he was here," she murmured.

That was what I was trying to do...

"Let's just get out of here," she spoke.

"You go, I'll come in a few minutes," I told her. She gave me a questioning look.

"Kyson,-"

"Go, I'll come soon," I said firmly.

She looked back at Malcolm before she gave me a nod. She turned around and walked away.

"What now?" I heard him.

I turned to him, giving him my deadliest glare making him look away from my face.

"That statement you mention, about your mafia falling apart and you needing a successful partner... if I see you near her again forcing her to be with you, I'll make sure to destroy everything you own. Then I'll personally take care of you."
