His hands held onto my arms tightly, locking me in place as his rough lips collided against my surprised ones, but I couldn't stop my eyes from closing shut at his touch, the sweet burning feeling of tingles.

My eyes fluttered open as he pulled back, my fingers instantly reaching up to touch my lips as I stared at him, a stare that quickly turned into a glare as soon as I came out of whatever love sick trance I lost myself in. Stumbling over my words, I got out, "That-That was my first kiss!"

"That's good to hear," he whispered with a soft smile, almost like he wasn't paying attention, as he hovered over me with his lips just a breath away from my own and his eyes searching mine.

"You can-can't do that a-again," I mumbled and could still feel the wet tears dribbling down my cheeks, "you-you just can't."

It's just the mate pull, I reminded myself, humans aren't even supposed to have them.

"Please, Amoret, just let me explain," he begged, his smile falling as a frown formed on his lips, and placed his hands against my cheeks, both of his thumbs rubbing away my tears as they continued to slowly fall.

The word slipped past my lips, "Okay."

I kicked my feet as I was sat down on the same bed I woke up in, the bedroom I recently learned was actually Kaius's room. My short legs couldn't reach the ground, so I kept kicking them to calm my nerves as I watched Kaius pace back and forth in front of me with his hand continuously running through his dark brown hair.

Sniffling as I kept my eyes on my feet that I couldn't see as they were being covered with the long dress, the one I never bothered to get changed out of, he finally stopped moving and took a step towards me, I could see his feet clad in black shoes step in front of me.

I watched as he bent down to go on his knees, his hands going to hold mine as he looked up at me with pleading eyes. "I swear that I can explain what he was talking about, I can, Amoret."

"Ex-Explain," I whimpered, silently cursing myself for not being able to hold in my feelings, to not being able to stop myself from crying.

Mama always tells me I shouldn't cry.

Watching as he opened his mouth then closed it, I could practically see the gears in his head turning as I continued watching him try to figure out what to say, how to explain.

"It wasn't meant to happen, Amoret. I didn't go there with the intent to kill him, I went there to get you," he spoke with his eyes looking into mine as though he was begging me to understand.

He kept going, "Kendrick is right, okay, he was being honest when he told you of what I did. I was unstable, I know that and I knew that then, but I couldn't help myself. I wanted-" he shook his head,"-I needed to see you."

"Why did you do it?" I sobbed, "You didn't have to kill him, r-right?"

His eyes looked down as he ignored my question and replied with another, "I can tell you everything that happened, right from the beginning, only if you want?"

"Yes," I answered quietly. No matter how bad.

"I was thirteen-" he shuffled to get closer to me, moving his upper body between my legs so that my legs were pressed against his sides, "-I had only recently shifted, and I didn't have the best way of keeping my wolf tame, he was there, and he always knew how to takeover. I wasn't in complete control yet and everyone was telling me that going for runs, staying in nature, that it would help. As soon as I was deep enough in the woods I could feel you, all of a sudden something in the air changed and as I got closer to you, it got stronger, and I couldn't stop myself."

I looked over to the side of the room, keeping my sight away from him, and towards the window as I listened to him tell the story.

"I was excited, I couldn't wait to see you. When I got to the cottage I knocked, but no one answered. That just made me mad because I knew someone was in there, I could sense it, that you were in there. I broke the door down and I instantly seen you, you were there in your mother's arms and I had this need of wanting to be near you, but you were so small and I knew I couldn't have you yet, but then your brother," he paused and sighed, "your brother jumped out at me, he had this knife gripped in his hand, and he ran it down the side of my face."

Glancing back to the scar on his face, my fingers moved up to trace down the white line. Kaius embraced my touch and leaned into it.

"It all went bad from there, and I couldn't control it. It happened so fast, my hands just went up and snapped his neck, and my body started heading towards your cries on instinct. I didn't even notice that your mother was gone, that she took you until everything went up in flames. The whole house was lit up, his body was off to the side when the flames engulfed him, it was the worst fire that I've ever seen and not knowing where you were just made me crazy-"

"What do you-you mean by crazy?" I whispered as Kendrick's words popped into mind.

Impulsive, angry, jealous.

Everything seemed to click. How everyone seemed to think he was different, calmer. A memory flashed in my mind, of Flynn talking about an Alpha.

"He's more wolf than man."

"I was worse than when I started," he admitted. My hand shook as I removed it from the side of his face.

He licked his lips before he spoke as I tried my best to ignore the sad look in his eyes when he felt the heat from my hand go away, "I knew you weren't dead, but I never bothered to see you again, not after what happened. I felt that I needed to get better for you, so I waited until I knew you were eighteen, then I sent my Beta and Gamma to get you, but they were unsuccessful. I went back to try to get you myself, but I could barely stand in the house, the whole thing was covered in wolfsbane as if someone was dreading the day I would come to take you."

"Mama doesn't like werewolves," I whispered as I rubbed my eyes, feeling tired from the long day.

"I could tell," he muttered. "That didn't stop me, I searched for days, but I was beginning to lose hope, that is until I visited Kendrick's pack and some boy smelled exactly like you."

"Does Flynn hate me?" I asked sadly.

"No," Kaius told me and shook his head, "he was forced to do that, just like how I made Axel come get you."

"Who's Axel?" I tilted my head to the side.

"You know him as Jordan, he's Chandler's little brother." Kaius growled as he said his next words, "Although I don't agree with how he got you, but I understand that it was risky trying to get you out in the first place."

I noticed how his hands turned into fists at his sides.

"Amoret-" he sighed.

"It's okay," I forgave him, "but I think I need some time."

W O R D  C O U N T : 1448

It's been a full week, just a little bit over, since I last posted.

I wanted my chapters to be longer than usual, but I was running late on this chapter so I figured I'd get it done and just post it.

So let's hope it's actually good!

Anyways, big news, sort of! I started writing this description for a new book I was going to start, after I finish this one obviously, but I might put up a few chapters before My Little Love has ended and by a few I mean like five not including the prologue thing.

Can I show you guys my description or would that be annoying? Just to put it in my note at the end of my next chapter, to see if anyone would be interested in reading it once I start it.

Enjoy hopefully!
