Chapter 20: A talk from the Love doctor

"You realize I have no experience in the romance department?"

"Yes."

"You realize I'm not a psychiatrist?"

"Yes."

"You realize I'm not a girl right?"

"We'll......"

"I could prove it to you!" He screamed defensively as he shoots his hand to the zipper of his pants.

"AHHHH okay your a boy!!! Please don't ruin my innocent eyes!" I yell as my hands shot up to cover my face.

I hear an exasperated sign. "Naina why are you here?"

I look at him with pleading eyes. " I don't know what to do. I need help."

"And you think I can help you!" He asked in disbelief.

"I'm desperate." I respond while collapsing on the hotel bed.

I hear a frustrated groan and something or someone collapsing right beside me. "Start from the beginning."

I reevaluate all my thoughts and began to speak. "It was perfect. Everything was. It felt so unreal. He was so sweet and charming. I was a nervous reck, blushing, and sweating. He made me feel special and when we kissed it was..."

"Fireworks?" He guessed.

"Nice."

"Nice?" He questioned.

"That's the problem! It was nice! Why wasn't there firework or explosions."

He shook his head in disbelief. " Naina this isn't a FAIRYTALE this is real life. Kisses aren't suppose to be like explosions. Especially not your first one. It was better than my first kiss. I felt like a dog was licking my face."

I shivered remembering his first girlfriend. "Gertrude."

"Gertrude." He confirmed.

" but why was it everything leading up to the kiss made my heart skip beat after beat but when it happen it felt like nothing even though everything else seemed perfect." I ranted.

"Naina do you like Raj?" He asked seriously.

"Of course." I said quickly.

"I don't think you do. I think you like the thought of Raj. He is a hot guy ... No homo... But anyways he's smart, sweet friendly, and you guys know each other forever. Then he comes up to you and tells you like him and its the perfect love story the best friends falling in love, but that's the thing this is REAL life none of this is suppose to be perfect."

"But I like Raj before he told me." I asked confused.

" I think you fell for Raj because your scare of liking someone's different from you. You been told to like Indian guy, but you want the opposite. You are told to marry a doctor and you want the opposite. You are told to marry someone with moral you want opposite. You been told you want an Indian, doctor, and a guy with moral. Raj is or will become that guy, but that the thing you want the opposite Naina your just to stupid to see it. You were falling for someone else but your so scared of your true feeling you decided to distract yourself by liking Raj so you wouldn't have to deal with these feelings."

"What are you talking about! Your not even making sense."

"Love is blind" he muttered under his breath.

"Aman you would make a horrible therapist." I commented.

"What!" He gasped. "I am the love doctor."

"No your am idiot."

"Your jealous."

"Nope just stating the facts." Aman grabbed a pillow and slapped it in my face.

"Get out of my room before I smuggle you to death." I jump off the bed with my hands up.

"Okay I'm leaving." Right when I turn the knob I here Aman from behind.

"Naina remember what I said even though it make no sense now it's going to be a lot clearer in the future." He tells me from behind. I shake my head not believe him for a second. Falling for someone else and not Raj just seems so stupid

As Im walking I collide with someone causing me to land on my my but i began to raise my voice until I meet him green eyes.

"Just the girl I am looking for!" He exclaimed.

"What are you talking about Ethan?" I ask dumbfounding.

"I am going to teach you how to swim." He smirks before pulling me up.
