Not too far from the Xiao vacation house, deep inside the wood, there is a lake. A lake surrounded by beautiful wildflowers with just one big tree in the middle. The wildflowers would cover the area a few feets away from the lake before trees surrounded them and hidden the lake.

Under the tree, there are two people there. May is sitting with her back leaning to the tree. Her most beloved is laying on the ground with his head resting on her laps.

Their fingers are laced together. The Phantom can feel the slender fingers of her beloved in his hand. Her little hand feel so fragile. He is always scared to hold her hand too tight. Scared he might crush her fingers.

As he wrapped his hand around her wrist, The Phantom sigh when his index finger and his thumb still touch each other easily.

"You should eat more... Stop skipping your meals. 3 meals a day is the least you can do.", he complains.

May rolled her eyes, she swears they had this conversation over a million times.

"I am eating three meals a day!", she tried to defend herself. Her beloved quickly clicked his tongue.

"An apple doesn't count as a meal."

The Chinese girl is well aware, she can't win the conversation because he will still win if he brings out the 'technically'. She just rests the back against the tree and glared at her beloved.

Chuckling at how childish and adorable May is, The Phantom gently put one of May's hand on his face. He uses it as a shield to cover his eyes.

"You should eat more. I know how it is when you too absorbed with your work, you forgot you need to eat. I remember clearly how your brows would be furrowed whenever there is a spelling error on the report prepared by your assistant. Be careful with that habit, love. You might have crinkles earlier than you thought.", he said.

Puffing her cheek in annoyance, "Be quiet! It is rude to say that to a lady."

The Phantom smiled.

'But you're not just any lady. You're my lady.', he whispers in his heart.

Suddenly, they fell into this deep comfortable silence. May stare at the face of her beloved. It is rare for him to come up with such an impromptu date. He is acting weird. She can sense something is lingering in his head.

"Love, why-"

"Shush... Just listen to me for a moment, please.", The Phantom begged.

May is growing more concern. He never uses the word please before.

"Don't sleep too late. You need to be fully rested to function properly for your work, love. Sleep is not useless as you so often claimed it to be. Take good care of your health so you will live a long life... So... So you can do everything we planned to do... with your future partner."

May can feel The Phantom tearing up under her hand he uses to cover his eyes. Her heart is beating so fast in horror. Why is he saying all this? The Chinese girl tried to take off her hand from his face, she stopped when The Phantom put both of his hands on hers.

"Find someone who will scold you about your spoiled attitude and yet still chuckle at the end and-"

STOP!

"Make sure you find someone who can stand your witty comebacks. Your ridiculous comebacks are overwhelming sometimes-"

NO, STOP! JUST STOP!!

May refused to listen to this anymore. She can feel tears streaming down his face. The more she tried to remove her hand, the tighter The Phantom would hold her hand.

"Tell them everything bad about yourself, don't hide anything. Tell them you snore so loud and you tend to kick people in your sleep. Tell them everything! If they walked away then let them be. If they stay, show them every shines you have. Show they your cute guilty smile with that tiny bit of drool on your face when you greet them every morning! And-"

"STOP!!", May forcefully removed her hand of her beloved face. Tears are streaming down her face.

"You're not going anywhere... I don't need to find someone else... I... I have you."

Bitter smile is craved on The Phantom's face. How he wishes that was true. He calmly sits himself up in front of May. He bends a little so he can see her face clearly. Gently wiping her tears with his hand.

"I'm sorry that I made you cried... And I'm sorry for all the things we can't do together."

"NO! You said... You said... We will travel the world together... You said..."

The Phantom rest their foreheads against each other. He looks deep into her eyes.

His eyes are wet and so does hers but he can still see the same shine in her eyes that made him fall head over heels for her.

"Y-you said we will be together forever", May finished her words.

The Phantom can only chuckle at that.

"We will be together forever.", he said confidently.

"How?"

As if her question was a que, The Phantom pull himself away from May and take her hand in his.

"I will always be in here.", he points at the side of her temple with her index finger lightly.

" And in here.", he put her hand on her chest. Right on top of her heart.

That had successfully made May chuckle.

"Sappy."
