Ashley's POV

I am not even focused on where he's taking me to with all these questions running in my mind.

What if he is angry at me? What if he leaves me because he found out how weak I am? What if he hates me right now? What if he is taking me to the forest to kill me or even bury me alive.

The black dots start to disturb my eyes while I still think about the what-ifs. My body gets weaker and weaker every minute that past. I still feel pains everywhere.

"Just stay with me you'll be fine. Okay?" Chase assured me. I can't even reply to him when the black dots wanting to cover my eyes. The question that's bothering me the most is:

Where am I going to be staying from now on?

Before I could lay down on the back seat comfortably, the darkness came through.

"Don't worry she will be fine, boss." I heard a voice that is not familiar.

"Okay, so when do you think she's going to wake up?" Now I heard a deep voice I am certainly familiar with.

"I am not sure, but she's supposed to be awake by now but maybe she's exhausted. Oh! I wanted to ask you something." I had the voice again.

"Okay, go on."

"Is this your first time seeing someone beating her boss?" I listen carefully after fully opening my eyes.

"Yes, why did you ask?"

"Well, it seems like this is not her fi-" I quickly cut the man wearing a white coat off with a fake cough.

I don't want Chase to find out about my uncle abused me. Chase quickly rushes to me.

"Are you okay?" he asked.

"Not really. I have this huge headache and my stomach still hurt." I said before looking around me. This looks more like a bedroom than a hospital room. "...and where am I?" I said setting my gaze back on him.

"Oh, you are in my house." He said looking around. I look at the man in white cloth. Wow, he is handsome. But he has this straight face like 'I am only here to do my job' kind of face.

"Who is he?" I asked.

"He is a family doctor. His name is Jackson." he replied.

"Oh," I said. Wow, he has a family doctor? Oh yeah, I don't know anything about his personal life. Plus he has expensive cars so what do I expect?

"Can I go now, boss?" the guy named Jackson asked. Wait... did he just said, boss?

"Yeah, Jack you can go now." Chase nodded his head to Jackson. Jackson nods his head back and left the room.

"Did he just called you boss?" that question just slipped out of my mouth. Stupid mouth.

"So, are you hungry?" Wow, he ignored my question. I don't blame him, it's my stupid mouth.

Obviously, I am really hungry, I haven't eaten since the break. Oh, that reminds me.

"How long have I been asleep?" I asked.

"Five hours." he answered. Oh my, what is my uncle going to do? Oh no, my uncle.

"What happened to my uncle?"

"Who is your uncle? Wait that guy that almost killed you, was your uncle?" Chase asked raising his eyebrow. Oh yeah, he doesn't know my uncle.

"Yes." I whispered almost like I'm talking to myself. But I said it enough for him to know, I don't want to continue with this conversation.

"Okay." He said getting my message, looking far ahead like he was thinking deeply.

"Can we go and get food? I'm really hungry." I quickly changed the topic to stop the silence.

"Sure. I'll go and bring it. You can just stay on the bed." he said getting up and went out the door. Wow-what a relief. I know I have to tell him one day but that day is not today.

After a few minutes, he came back with a painkiller and.....pizza!!!! when last did I eat pizza? Did he give me a bottle of.....water? How am I suppose too it pizza with water? I want a coke.

"How am I suppose to eat pizza with-with water?" I gave him a questioning look. He shrugged.

"Because you need to drink healthy...?"

"Then what about eating healthy. Huh?" I folded my arms.

"Miss Miller is done with her shift for today and it's pretty late so why don't you just eat and sleep." Chase said getting annoyed. I slowly nodded and started eating. Once I was done eating I took the painkillers and dose off to sleep.

It's been a few weeks now and I have not been at school. Just staying in Chase's house doing nothing and trust me when I say this house is full of muscular, hot, and big guys because it is. So I don't usually come out of this room. Because those guys freak me out, they look scary.

So far I also have made few friends and they are cool with me but they are all boys. They are three: Nova- who comes from time to time to give me food and you know what they say 'the person apart from your family that brings you food becomes your friend'.

Ace- yeah we're just cool with each other and I told him to look after my friend Michelle for me. Wow, we became good friends he even talks to me like we have been buddies for years. Which I'm not complaining about. I know this is weird but every time I talk about Michelle his eyes glitters with so much adoration. Awww someone is in love.

Lastly, Mason- it is easy to talk to him. He likes making jokes that sometimes my stomach starts to hurt from laughing too much.

I stood up from the bed to start preparing for school. Oh I haven't mentioned, today is Monday and I am going to school. After two weeks of staying in this house.

He also said I can be staying in his house as long as I want and I'm really happy because I don't think I'm ever going to leave this dream house or should I say mansion. What I'm looking forward to today is:

Chase promised to open up to me.

Can't wait!
