Ten months since his 'fight' with Bakugou and the explosive boy has not once threatened him or done anything at all to him, even going so far as to avoid the boy. Now standing outside the U.A exam hall at 8:55am, Hibiki takes in a long breath before he begins walking towards the entrance. Along the way, he notices Bakugou with his usual sour look and Midoriya, with his now toned body, failing miserably at talking to a cute girl. Hibiki chuckles slightly before heading inside.

Inside, a pro hero with speakers around his neck begins shouting at the students sitting in the hall. "WELCOME ONE AND ALL TO MY LIVE SHOW! EVERYBODY SAY HEEEEEY!" Due to the horrendously loud noise coming from the pro, Hibiki is forced to close his eyes and hold his headphones closer to his ears as his head starts ringing. Through quite a bit of effort, he is able to open his eyes slightly, just enough for him to see what the loudmouth is saying. The boy manages to get the gist of the rules, especially when it comes to the zero pointers since a know-it-all student raised his concerns with the fake villains in the test.

Soon enough, everyone in the same group as Hibiki have gathered in their select area. The boy notices that no one he recognises is in the same group as him. "Whoa..." he mutters as he looks out over the massive city landscape that will most likely become nothing more than a pile of rubble by the end of the test. "Hey!" A female voice calls out, grabbing ahold of the blue eyed boy's attention. Turning around to put a face to the voice, he sees a spirited girl with orange hair and green eyes. "Uh, hi." He replies quietly, unsure of why this girl would be talking to him at this point in time. "I like your headphones." She points towards the boys headphones. "Is the pattern based on All Mights costume?" She continues. "Y-yeah, a little." He manages to squeak out. "Y'know, you should probably take them off when people are talking. It's a little rude." She states bluntly, catching the boy slightly off guard. "Well-that's...I need them." Hibiki's words surprise the girl who quickly apologises for her mistake. "I-it's alr-" the boy is interrupted by the ungodly screech of Present Mic's voice. "AAAAND START!" The voice calls out, prompting some confusion from a few people before everyone starts rushing out towards the battlefield, desperately searching for points.

It doesn't take long before a two pointer shows up in front of Hibiki, who proceeds to snap his left fingers in front of him, causing a shockwave that hits the machine and blows it apart. He continues with this tactic for the majority of the exam, blowing apart every robot he comes across. Soon, a tiny boy with black balls on his head comes running past, screaming for his mom, followed by multiple other students that appear to be running away from something as well. As Hibiki looks to see what they are running from, a one pointer comes charging at him from the side. Without looking at the machine, he holds his left arm out to the side and clicks, destroying the machine. At this moment, a flood of deep sounds echo towards the boy, before a massive robot appears from around the corner of two skyscrapers. The machine puts its foot down and sends a shockwave through the earth. "That's a zero pointer?" He says in disbelief, before noticing the figure of a boy with steel skin, barely holding up the giant robots foot, trying not to be crushed by it.

Hibiki begins to run, not away from the giant, but towards it. He stomps the ground with his left foot which propels him towards the steel boy, knocking them both outfrom under the villain's foot. "Huh!?" The steel boy asks, bewildered. "Owwww..." Hibiki replies, holding the left shoulder that collided with the boy's steel body. "What the hell was that for!?" The steel boy shouts at Hibiki. "H-huh?" Hibiki responds, startled by the boy's temper. "You wrecked the plan!" The boy yells at him. "Plan? What plan?" Hibiki asks. "distract that thing so everyone can get away! After that, Itsuka was gonna help me finish it off!" The boy shouts but Hibiki's attention is drawn elsewhere. "Um...I don't think you need to worry about distracting it." Hibiki tells the steel boy, looking away from him. "Huh!? And why's tha-...oh." The machine turns to face the pair, ready to crush them under its arms. "Where's this Itsuka person?" He asks, not taking his eyes off the giant villain. "In the left building." The steel boy responds quickly. "Alright...Let's do this." Hibiki says with false confidence.

Hibiki turns to the steel boy, placing his hand a few centimetres from the boy's chest. "Sorry." Hibiki apologises as he slams his palm onto the boy's chest, creating a reverberating noise and a shockwave that pushes the steel boy away from the fight. Now on his own, the zero pointers attention is solely upon him. He rushes to the right and slams his foot on the ground, boosting him into the air slightly to the right of the machines head. "Hey there..." He says nervously. The machine sees him and swings its massive limb at him from the side. He manages to put his arms up to block the attack but it still sends him careening over to the top of the right building. He slides across the cement before coming to a crashing stop against the balustrades. "Ow...again..." he slowly gets to his feet with a high pitched ringing noise in his left ear. Feeling the left ear of his headphones, he notices a few cracks from the prior impact, startling and slightly scaring him. There is no time to think about that now however, as the giant machine prepares to swing its right appendage down at him.

He runs forward, towards the enemy and once again stomps the ground to boost him off the roof as, down below, the figures of both the steel boy and the orange haired girl from before smash one of the robots legs, causing it to lose its balance, missing its swing at Hibiki but smashing a good portion of the building he was on. The machine swings its limb back up, this time connecting with the boy and sending him skyrocketing upwards. Once the boy stops climbing further towards the heavens, he regains his focus. Now over what could be considered the giant machines' head, Hibiki snaps his left fingers towards the enemy, created a small, unmoving pulse of air with various, bright colours mixed in. He follows this with a click from his right fingers towards the machine again, sending a powerful, multicoloured blast down towards the fake villain. The blast caves in the machines head but doesn't stop there. The attack continues to break apart the machine, carving and crushing its way through the centre of the robot and leaving what remains of its halves to fall to the ground. The initial force from the blast however, knocked the unprepared Hibiki back up to the sky before landing hard on the roof of the right building again.

Hibiki lies there, wounded and winded for a few moments before hearing a call from the loudmouth exam proctor. "THIRTY SECONDS!" The ungodly noise brings Hibiki back to his senses and he attempts to stand before falling back onto his face. Stand, fall, stand, fall. Eventually, the boy manages to stay standing and limp slowly towards the heavily damaged staircase. When he does, the cement gives out from under him, causing him to plummet towards the ground along with piles of rock and rubble. Without much time to think, Hibiki acts on instinct, rolling in mid-air and snapping his fingers below him, sending him flying face first out of the falling debris and through a gaping hole in the neighbouring building, skidding across the cement. When he finally stops, the wounds, hyperactivity and the blood rushing to his head from falling from great heights more than once, causes him to lose consciousness.

Hibiki wakes up in a nurses office with an old woman kissing his arm. "What the...?" He asks no one in particular as he groggily sits up. "You're awake!" Another female voice shouts with glee. Hibiki turns his head to see the orange haired girl with a smile on her face and the steel boy, now looking relatively normal with a slight scowl on his face. "Where am I?" He asks the group curiously. "You're in the nurses office. You got real lucky that you weren't hurt too bad or else I might have had to smack you after you woke up." The old lady harshly explains to the boy. "We're glad you're okay. My name's Itsuka Kendo! it's nice to meet you for real." The orange haired girl says as she offers her hand to shake. "Hey Itsuka, I'm Hibiki Yoshioka, Nice to-" Hibiki goes to accept the hand shake but realised that something is off. First, his vision is different. Unable to see people normally and instead seeing them as if they were wrapped in multicoloured light. Second, a painful, high pitched noise is slowly getting stronger and stronger in his head. Panicking, Hibiki puts both of his hands where the ear pads of his headphones should be, only to realise that they're gone. "M-my headphones!" As he panics, his words cause a high pitched noise that shatters the nearby windows. "I've got them!" The steel boy shouts as he quickly puts them on Hibiki's head, almost immediately calming him down.

Hibiki looks to the steel boy appreciatively. "Thanks for that...um..." in attempting to thank the boy, Hibiki remembers that he doesn't actually know his name. "Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu. You better remember it when I'm at the top!" The boy shouts. "Thanks, Tetsutetsu." The boy smiles at the thanks. "Alright you Three, you'd better get going." The three look to Recovery Girl. "I'm clear to go?" Hibiki asks quietly. "Yep, though I'm sure you understand that I will have to tell the school about your little headphone problem." The old lady informs the boy in front of her. "That's...that's fair."
