Safeera's POV

It's been three months since I left him. It's been too hard for me because I always cry every night but I don't wanna risk going back to him. My decision might be selfish but I don't care and I will do everything for my babies. Right now, I'm living with Luke here in L.A. and I must say, he took care of me a lot. He always reminds me to take my meds(vitamins) and things like that.

"Hey, eat and then drink your vitamins." He said, speaking of.

"Yes father." I giggled.

"Hmp!" He tried acting cute and I swear, he nailed it!

"You're so cuteeee!" I laughed and pinched his cheeks.

"Ah-awww! Hey! STOP IT! Ah!" He grunted.

I laughed at him then ran into my room.

"Hey hey! Stop running! Damn! You're already 5 months pregnant! Lady!" he growled.

Oh! He called me lady and that means he is angryyy!

I locked the door and lay down my bed.

*KNOCK KNOCK*

"Lady open up! Hey! Open this door!" He demanded.

"Nye nye nye!" I mockingly said.

"Hey! Woman open up!" He growled.

I didn't mind him and lay back comfortably. I was staring at the ceiling and was in deep thought when suddenly....

Third Person's POV

*BLAG BLAG BLAG*

Someone is kicking the door open. Safeera knew that it was only Luke when a not so memorable memory came.

"HEY! WAKE UP YOU SLUT! MAKE MY BREAKFAST!"

"YOU BITCH! YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS!"

"YOU STUPID WHORE! HOW DARE YOU!"

Memories of her husband shouting and hurting her came back like a strike of a lightning. She panicked thinking that it was her husband who's banging the door.

"Go away! Please! Don't Hurt Me!" She begged.

Someone hugged her, trying to calm her but she thought it was her husband so she started screaming.

Luke knew that one day, this thing will happen. He's glad that at least, it happened now. So that she will not have any complications when she gave birth.

"Shh, it's me. Calm down Saf. It's me. I won't hurt you. And I won't let him go near you again." He whispered while still hugging her.

Slowly, Safeera has calmed down. She looked at Luke with a questioning look.

"At last. You had a panic attack., you thought I was Zixen." He explained to her.

"Oh my gosh! I'm sorry, I didn't know." She said then caressed his face.

"Shh, I know. I'm your Doctor. I know that one day, this will happen." Luke said then held her hand.

"I'm glad that you're here with me. I don't know what will happen to me if ever that I had this breakdown and you're not around." Safeera said.

"And I will not leave you. Kahit na ayaw mo na sa akin." He laughed at the end. (Translation: Even if you don't like me.)

"Whatever!" Safeera hissed.

Zixen's POV

It's been months without my wife. And I would like be lying if I say that I don't miss her. How I wish I was a better husband. And how I wish this stupid paper right in front of me is a scam. Oh God, please! If you are punishing me! I'm already at my worst! I can't bare to live without her. I wanna be with her.

My thoughts were interrupted when a random guy barge in, followed by my secretary.

"What can I do for you, Mr?" I asked the guy after looking at my secretary.

"Good day Mr. de Marco, I'm Attorney Salles(pronounce as sa-les). I would like to know if you already signed the papers that was sent to you last week?" He said with authority.

"Are you talking about this?" I asked, waving the papers in front of him.

"Yes." He said.

"Well, I am not signing this. Even if you take me up to the Supreme Court room. I will not sign this damn paper." I hissed.

"Whatever you say Mr. de Marco, this divorce will take place. Maybe not now, but I'll make sure that after the year ends, your marriage will be forgotten." He sighed.

"Are you threatening me? I can sue you." I uttered.

"Evidence?" He snorted. Which makes me lose my control.

"Bring this man out." I said to the intercom, and after a few seconds, the security is here dragging the man.

"Don't lay your hands on me. I can walk on my own." He howled to the security guards. "By the way, Mr. de Marco, have I told you that your so called wife is going out with her doctor." He laughed and then walk out.

FUCK! I KNEW THAT DOCTOR HAS TAKING A LIKING TO HER! I'M GONNA MAKE SURE TO FREAKING PUNISH HER! and I will also make sure to make that stupid doctor suffer, one way or another.

Luke's POV

After Safeera had her panic attack, she won't let go of me so I laid her down and sat down beside her.

"What were you thinking?" She suddenly asked.

"Nothing. I was just grateful because your panic attack happened now." I said.

"Why?" She asked again.

"Because if it happened in your third trimester, you'll get hurt and it can affect the babies. And it is more dangerous if it happened while you were giving birth or after." I truthfully said.

"Thank God." She yawned.

"Sleep now. I will not leave you." I uttered. Patting her head and humming some song.

After some time, her breathing is heavy that indicates she is now asleep. How I wish we can always be like this. Maybe if I acted all man up before, she won't be experiencing these things.

'I'm sorry Safeera, I should've known that these things is happening to you the moment I saw your cousin showing that man some photoshopped pictures of yours.' I muttered.

I knew Safeera for a long time now, but I've been a coward. I thought she'll be happy with that bastard and I am so so so wrong!
