Wedding Episode

Arjun pov:

All the arrangements are done for my marriage. I sat in my room thinking about Ananya. Within one hour she will be my wife. I don't know how to deal with this situation.

I asked Naina to know the reason for Ananya's dullness but I don't weather it is true or not.

She was looking so disturbed. She is not even smiling . I looked at my engagement ring. A sad smile appeared on my face .I don't know where god is taking me to.

I thought of marrying Megha whom I loved a lot. But God decided my marriage with Ananya. I don't know anything about her. I don't even know her likes and dislikes.

Everything is set for marriage. I'm going to tie a knot around her neck. I'm going to walk seven steps around fire with her.

Will I can understand her feelings? will she can share my grief ? A lot of questions are roaming in my mind.

Suddenly I felt some one hand on my shoulder. I turned my head to see. It's was Mom.

"What are you thinking?",She asked me.

"Nothing Mom.", I replied.

"Arjun don't lie to your Mom. I know everything about you.", She said.

"I'm just thinking about my future with Ananya.", I replied.

"Arjun I can read your thoughts. You agreed to marry her just to make us happie right?",She asked shocking me.

"No..mom. you are mistaken. I agreed because I like her.",I lied to her.

"I know arjun whatever you do its for our happieness. But I want you to be happy with Ananya.she  is really good girl. She is a rear diamond with lot of good qualities.", She said.

"She will understand  and heal your heart. She will share your pain. Trust me Arjun everything will be fine.", She said and kissed my forehead. I hugged her tightly.

"Love you maa", I said.

"Now get ready. Your wife will be waiting for you", She said and left.

Finally we went to the function hall. All the guests are waiting for us. Mr.Suraj came forward and hugged me. Ayaan was running here and there. He is enjoying the function.

Purohit asked me to sit in the mandap. I sat in the mandap and he started chanting prayers. It is going to be a colourful day in my life.

Purohit asked me to close my eyes and pray for the best to happen. I opened my eyes and I saw Ananya walking towards the mandap .

She wore a red saree and matching ornaments. She was looking damn cute with her nose ring. But something was missing on her face.

Ananya pov:

I woke up early in the morning and took a shower. I took my phone and checked if there are any missed calls.

There are ten missed calls from Rahul. Oh God why did he called me these many times?

I called to him back.

"Where did you kept your phone?", He shouted.

"It was in silent mode", I said.

"Ok listen I'm really sorry",he said. "

Sorry? For what?", I asked him. He stayed silent for sometime.

"Where are you?", I asked him.

"I'm in california.", He said.

"What? You are not attending my marriage right.",I asked him.

"I'm really sorry. Today I had a important meeting with my partners about the project . ",He said.

"Is meeting more important than me?", I asked in low voice.

"Andy please try to understand and forgive me.",He said.

"Rahul I hate you. You are not a good friend. I will not attend your Marriage too.",I said controlling my anger.

"This project is my dream Andy . Try to understand",he said.

"Whatever I hate you.", Saying this i disconnected the call and throwed my phone.

Tears started it's job. I told myself to not to cry.

"Andy what are you thinking? Go and get ready", she said.

"Naina ,Rahul is not coming to Mumbai.",I said.

"Why?", She asked me.

"He had an important meeting with his partners so he can't attend my marriage", I said.

"Are you angry ?",She asked me.

"Of course, for him meeting is more important than me.", I said.

"Anyway stop discussing about this matter.", I said with an irritated look.

"Andy get ready fast..",Naina told me. She helped me wearing a saree and makeup.

I wore a red coloured saree with gold border and matching ornaments. Nania took a lot of time to make me ready.

I looked at my mehandhi. My hands are  dark in red colour. The first letter of his name was "A" which was written on my hands.

"Ananya they are calling you.", Naina said.

I looked at Naina not known what to do?

"Don't get tensed everything will be fine.", She said. I nodded my head.

I started walking towards the mandap. I saw my inlaw's. I went towards them and bended my head for blessing. They kept their hand on my head.

My dad was looking happie. I never saw him smiling. I went to my dad and hugged him.

"Ananya you are really a good daughter.", He said. I smiled at him.

I saw Ayaan. He rushing towards me and lifted him up and kissed his cheeks.

"Ayaan you look so handsome.", I said.

"Andy you are joking. Arjun looks more handsome than me.", he said pointing his finger towards Arjun.

My eyes followed his fingers. I saw Arjun in the mandap who was praying. He wore a cream colour sherwani . It gives him a royal look..

Arjun pov:

I opened my eyes and stared at the girl who was walking towards me.

My heart started beating fast. She sat beside me. I looked at her but she didn't even lifted her head.

The purohit started his chanting and he asked me to tie the knot.
I took the holy thread and looked at her face.

She lifted her head. For the first time our eyes met each other.

Her eyes are asking me many questions? Immediately she lowered her eyes without saying anything.

I tied the knot around her neck and walked around the fire. I put the vermilion on her forehead.  Finally all the rituals were completed. Purohit asked us to take the blessing of our parents.

I took her hand into mine and walked towards my parents. we took their blessings. Finally our marriage is completed.

My mom came towards us and hugged hugged us.

"I'm really happie for you.God bless you both.", She said.

Ananya pov:

He tied a knot around my neck. He put the vermilion on my forehead. Now He is my husband and I'm his wife. I didn't even talked to him .

I'm going to leave Mumbai. I went to my room and packed my luggage...
