Ananya pov:

" I love you...", he said and I blushed.

"I told you that I love you .. but why are you blushing?", he said.

"Tell me that you love me..", he asked kissing my nose.

"I love you..", I said encircling my hands around his neck..

"Say that again..", he ordered.

"I love you Romeo..", I said again and he kissed my forehead.

"I love you too Angel.. I can't even imagine a second with you..", he said and captured my lips and He kissed me passionately like his life is depended on me. He left me when we were out of breath.

"Why do you call me Angel?", I asked him.

"You brought colors to my life Ananya.. I don't know when you became so much important to me.. I never felt for a girl like this before.. ", he said.

What about his girlfriend Megha? She is his first love and now he was saying that he had never felt like this before..

" You are lying..", I said and he gave a confused expression.

I don't want to hurt him now.. I don't want to talk about Megha.. I thought and decided to change the topic.

"Arjun leave me.. Everyone will be searching for us..", I said and I pushed him a little.

He released me and I turned to leave. I was about to go but he caught my hand and pinned me to the wall. I was about to ask but he cut me off..

" I know what you thinking Ananya..", he said gripping my wrist tightly.

" Nothing yaar.. just leave this topic..", I said lowering my eyes.

"Megha.. She is my first love but you will be my last love Ananya.. I loved her a long back but now I love you only.."

"Your love and your care made me forget Megha..", he said with tears in his eyes. I don't know why I felt tears in eyes. I tugged my head into chest and I started crying like a baby..

"I'm Sorry Arjun... I'm really sorry for hurting you..", I said making his shirt wet with my tears. He cupped my face and I wiped my tears.

"Sorry doesn't exist in our relation..", he said and I blinked my eyes..

"Now stop your crying.. I can't see you like this.. I want my Angel back", he said kissing on my eyes and I smiled.

Soon we went to the hall and he didn't leave my hand.. I tried hard to get out of his hold..

" Arjun..", I heard Rahul's voice. I looked at him and he left my hand.

"What are you doing with my best friend?", he asked placing his hand on my shoulder.

"Romancing..", he said and my eyes popped out.

"God!! you are crazy man", Rahul stated and left us.

"Why did you say like that?", I asked him and he placed a soft kiss on my cheek.

"What are you doing? We are in public..", I said.

" I don't care Wifey..", he whispered in my ears and left me.

In the evening, Everything was arranged for sangeet and I saw Naina and Karthik.. They are looking adorable.. Something is fishy..

I know there must be something going in between these two people... I'll find it soon.. I went to my room and I saw Arjun sitting at the corner of the bed..

"What happened Romeo?", I asked sitting beside him.

"Nothing..", He said made me sit in his lap.

"Arjun.. let me go.. I had to get ready for the sangeet..", I said.

"You are already beautiful..then why to get ready..", he said kissing my cheek.

"Please.. Naina will be waiting for me..", I pouted and he laughed seeing my expression.

"Ok.. Fine wear this dress.. I brought it for you..", he said giving me a packet. I opened it with excitement and it was a beautiful maroon color lehanga.. with gold work.. It was looking so beautiful..

"Do you like it?", he asked bringing me back to present.

"I love it Romeo.. ", I said kissing his cheek.

"Then go and wear this..It look a lot of time for me to buy this.. I want to see you in this..", he said.

"Fine..I'll wear this", I said and went to take a shower. I wore the lehenga and I was struggling with my doori..

Hell with this knot.. My hands are not even reaching it.. I was still struggling and I felt someone's hands on my back.. I know who is was.. I looked at Arjun through the mirror..

He pulled me close to him and kept his chin on my shoulder.. My cheeks got heated up due to the proximity..

"Can I help you?", he whispered in my ears. I don't know what to say so I nodded in yes.

He held me close and tied the knot.. My heart is beating fast like marathon. I closed my eyes and he placed a soft kiss on my neck..

"You look so beautiful Angel.. I can't take my eyes from you.. You are making me crazy", he said looking at me.

"Arjun.. let me go..", I muttered.

"Can I ask you something?", he said and I nodded.

"Shall we take our relationship to the next level? Are you comfortable with me?", he asked with some intensity in his eyes.

I don't know what to reply.. but I don't want him to get hurt .. Moreover I love him.. So I'm ready to give his right on me. I thought. I was about to speak but he cut it off.

"If you want time.. I'll wait ", he said.

"No Arjun.. It's not like that.. I'm ready to take this relationship to next level..", I said looking at him and he hugged me.

"Thankyou Angel.. You don't know how much badly I wanted you.. I love you..", he said and kissed my forehead and I smiled.

"let's go down.. Sangeet is going to be started..", he said and I nodded.. I did my makeup and brushed my hair.

He was looking at me without blinking his eyes.. God!! he is literally eating me with his eyes..

"Shall we go?", I asked him and he took me downstairs. I saw Naina , Adi laughing and I saw Deeksha..

She sat next to Adi and They are holding each other's hand... I'm really happy for them..Atlast My Adi is back.. I thought and sat next to Naina..

"Where is Karthik?", I asked Naina.

"He is with Rahul", she said. Soon Rahul and Janvi came holding each other's hands and everyone clapped for the couple..

Soon we started enjoying the sangeet and I saw Karthik .. I want to talk to him.. I want to know his feeling for Naina.... I was in my thoughts when I felt Arjun's hand on my waist.. I looked at him and he pulled me close.

"Would you like dance with me?", He asked and I nodded my head.

Naina pov:

All the arrangements are done for sangeet.. I got dressed in Pink lehenga.. I looked myself in the reflection and I felt good..

Karthik is going to die tonight.

I thought and smiled to myself. I went down and my eyes were searching for my Rockstar.. I saw him with Rahul..

I walked towards him so that he will notice and compliment me.. But he was engrossed in his work.

"Karthik.. ", I called him and he turned towards me.

"Do you want anything to say?I'm little bit busy.. I'll talk to you later..", he said and left the place.

It my mistake to wait for his compliments. I thought and sat next to Adi.. It's been a long time to see this guy smiling.. I'm really happy for my best friend.. Soon we had a conversation on some random stuff . The couple joined us and we started having fun..

Everyone went to the dance floor.. Adi with Deeksha, Rahul with Janvi , Andy with Arjun.. but what about me.. Even if Karthik asks.. I'm not ready to dance with him because he didn't look at me.

I was in my thoughts when I heard Karthik's voice.

"Do you want to dance with me Doctor?", he asked.

"No... I can't dance in this dress..", I said left the place. Suddenly I heard Karthik's voice in the mike..

"Good Leaving Ladies and Gentlemen.. Firstly I would like to congratulate my best friends Rahul and Janvi.. ", he said and I turned to see him.

What is he going to do now? I was in my thoughts.. and he melodic voice brought me into the present.

"Well.. I would like to sing a song.. I hope you will enjoy it.. This song is dedicated to the most important person in my life.. ", he said looking at me and I lowered my eyes.

He took his guitar and stood in the centre like a Rock star... He started singing my favorite song..

He was singing as if he wants me say my feelings... My eyes were on him and he was singing seeing me.. I can see some spark in his eyes... I can find my soul in his eyes..All the couples are dancing and I my soul was dancing with his soul..

I loved him once and I still do and I'll keep loving him till my last breath...  I'll confess my feeling now.. I can't wait more.. I was in my thoughts and I heard a big applause...

I came of out my thoughts and I saw Karthik looking at me with a smile on his face.. God!!!what a smile? His eyes are sparkling with happiness...

"You are awesome Karthik",Andy said hugging him.

"Thank you Andy..",he said.

Soon we all had our dinner and I didn't find Karthik.. where is this guy.. I want to talk to him badly. He might be in his room.. I thought and made my way to his room. I was about to open the door and I heard Andy's voice from the room.

"Tell me Karthik what's going on between you and Naina?", She asked.

"It's not that the way you think.. there is nothing in between us.. ", he said making my heart into pieces.

I didn't expected this kind of answer from him... I thought he is loving me...but no.. I'm a fool..

"Acha.. then for whom did you sang the song?", She asked.

Say Karthik... say that you love you.. I prayed to the God. 

"No.. Andy.. she is just my friend.. nothing more than that..", he said and I felt weak all of a sudden.

Tears are rolling down my cheeks.. My heart is broken.. How can he do this?? I can't hear their conversation anymore I thought and went to my room.

I locked the door and jumped on to my bed. Am I just his friend? Why Karthik? Why did he kissed me when I'm his friend? My heart is aching badly..

I thought that he loves me.. I thought that he sang the song for me.. but I'm a fool to think like that.. he don't love me.. I cried and cried hugging my pillow..

I can't stay here anymore.. I don't want to see his face.. I will cry more when I see him.. I'll go away from his life.. but where to go?? I was thinking and I got an idea.

I took my phone and dailed to my Dean. He picked up the call and I took a deep breath to control my tears.

"Hello Dean..", I greeted him.

"Hello Naina",he said.

"Sorry to disturb you in this time but I wanted to talk something which is very important to my life", I said wiping my tears.

"It's OK Naina.. How can I help you?",He asked.

"Dean it's about my career.. I want to take your offer.. I want to go to Kolkata...", I said holding my tears..

"Do you really want to go ?", He asked me.

"Yes Dean.. I want to focus on my career.. ",I said.

"I'm really happy for you Naina At last you took a good decision.. but you should go tomorrow itself.. ",he said.

"But... tomorrow is my friends marriage... can I report in the afternoon ",I said.

"You can..", he said.

OK then.I'll go after the marriage.. I said.

"All the best Naina.. I'm really proud of you..", he said and disconnected the call.

Again... my tears are rolling down my cheeks.. I threw my phone and hugged my pillow... I closed my eyes.. and all the memories flashed into my mind..

His kisses.. His care.. everything.. I tried to control my tears.. my eyes and face turned red..

No Naina... you shouldn't cry.. you should be strong.. We can't blame Karthik.. it's your mistake to expect love from him... You will go to Kolkata and you won't see him again.. don't worry.. you will be fine.. I said to myself and wiped my tears.

I laid and on my bed and I tried to sleep.. I don't know why I'm crying like this... I wanted to stop these tears but I'm getting failed.. I should forget him at any cost... I don't know when I drifted into sleep.

Next day, I got dressed in lemon yellow saree. Today is the last day in Mumbai and also last day in Karthik's life.. This thought brought tears in my eyes.

I don't want to face Karthik anymore.. I was packing my luggage and I heard a door knock. I went and opened the door.. it was Andy..

"Hey what are doing inside? All are going to the function hall..", she said and stepped in.

"I'm coming Andy..", I said in low voice.

"Naina where are you going ?", She asked.

"To Kolkata... I had to report today..", I said and resumed my packing.

"Kolkata?", She asked with her wide eyes open.

"Yes Andy... I have a flight in the evening.. I mean after the marriage..",I said.

"But why are you going?", She asked. 

"No reason Andy... I have to go that's all..",I said zipping my bag.

"Naina what happened to you yaar?", She asked.

"Nothing... let's go..", I said and turned to leave. I can feel tears in my eyes.. I controlled myself to not to cry in front of my friends..

I went downstairs and I saw Adi and Karthik.. He was looking handsome in black suite. His words are echoing in my ears.. I was in my thoughts and I heard a voice.

"You look beautiful in this saree Doctor..",came Karthik's voice...

These are the words which made me think that he is loving me.. How can he talk so sweetly.. I clenched my fist to control my tears. I gave a weak smile and turned to leave.

"Naina wait... Where are you going?", I heard Adi's voice. I was about to reply.. then I heard Ananya's voice..

"She is going to kolkata..",Andy said looking at me. 

"What?",All of them said at once. I looked at Karthik.. he didn't speak anything.

"Yes Adi.. I'm going to kolkata.. I got an offer to work in kolkata.. I can't ignore.. It is very important to my career. ",I said.

"Congratulations Naina. I'm happy for you..", Adi said and hugged me.

"Guys let's go to the function hall.. we are getting late..", I said and rushed out of the place. Adi and Deeksha went in their car.

I was waiting for Ananya and Arjun. Karthik is in the car and his eyes were on me.

"Where is Arjun?",I asked Ananya.

"Guys.. I'm really sorry.. Arjun is getting ready.. so you guys cary on we will join you soon..", she said shocking me.

How can I go with this guy alone? I should stop her.

"It's OK.. I'll wait.. ",I said.

"Come with your Husband Andy.. I'll take Naina with me..", came Karthik's voice.

"OK then.. bye.. see you soon", Andy said and went inside. I looked at Karthik and his eyes are on the road.

"Karthik... I don't want to come with you.. I'll come with Ananya..
", I said and he got down from the car.

"What did you say?", He asked me pinning to the car.

"Can't you hear me..", I shouted at him.

"OK fine..I'll take you with me in  my own way..",he said and dragged me towards the car door.

"Leave my hand..",I said trying to get out his hold.

"Just shut your damn mouth..", he shouted and I felt tears in my eyes.

He placed me inside the car and kept my seat belt touching my bare waist. I didn't even looked at him.

"Look at me Naina..",I heard his voice. But I didn't respond.

"I said look at me..", He shouted and I looked at him with teary eyes. He was few inches away from me.

"Why are you going to Kolkata?", He asked leaning on me. I kept my two hands in between us.

"I told the reason to everyone right.. then why are you asking the same question?",I said pushing him.

"Are you leaving me here alone ?", He asked.

"Yes of course ", I said wiping my tears.

"Can you stay away from me?", He asked.

"Haa... I can and I wanted to stay away from you..",I said.

"Why?", He asked.

"No reason..", I said without looking at him.

There is a few minutes of silence between us. Soon he ignited the engine and we drove to the function hall.

The wedding has started and everyone are enjoying except me..

Rahul was asked to tie the knot to Janvi and he tied the holy thread around her neck.. soon the marriage is completed....

I can feel Karthik's eyes on me but I ignored him. I stood next to Adi and someone caught my hand. It was Karthik..

"I want to talk to you Naina..",he said.

"I don't want to talk to you...", I replied and jerked his hand. I told Rahul that I'm leaving to Kolkata and I decided to leave the function hall.. I went to Rahul's mansion and did my final packing..

Karthik pov:

Yes... I sang the song for my princess.. I want to live in her,
and get lost in her only....She is my sunshine.. I can't live without her.. I heard a loud applause from the crowd.. My eyes were on her and Andy complimented me.

My eyes were searching for my princess but she was no where.. I had my dinner and I went to my room to take rest.. I was in my thoughts and I heard a door knock. It was Ananya.

"Tell me Karthik what's going on between you and
