"Otherwise, why would you call me Kookoo back then?"

Lisa's eyes widened even more.

Her mouth fell agape. She soon clasped her hands to her mouth. Her hands trembling a little bit while her heart is beating at its fastest pace.

"Y-you..you.." she pointed at him with wide eyes, hands trembling.

"W-who told you t-that nonsense?" She asked.

Jungkook frowned. He opened his mouth to speak but Lisa spoke once again.

"Y-you.. don't listen to them. Whoever told you this nonsense are literally plotting against me! This is slandering! H-how can I call you Kookoo? That's so disrespectful of me! You're my senior!"

Jungkook's frown deepened. He felt quite disappointed after seeing the girl in front of him blindly throws him away. She's clearly abandoning him. But for what reason?

Lisa used all her might to compose herself once again. She looked at him with a piercing gaze as she coldly says,"Don't believe those nonsense. They are clearly doing that to slander my reputation out of jealousy. Me calling you in such a nickname is outrageous. I will never do a shameful act like that."

"Mr. Jeon, you are a senior to me. A superior. Perhaps we are indeed quite close back then but don't worry, we never crossed the boundaries of a subordinate."

Lisa turned around to leave after her speech but Jungkook's next word froze her.

"No one told me about it. It's the fragment of memory that suddenly came inside my head and there, I saw you, calling me Kookoo in the hallways. Don't lie in the broad daylight. We clearly are close to each other back then"

He squinted his eyes at the frozen girl in front of him.

"Say. Are we so close back then that I even allowed you to call me in such a shameful nickname?"

Lisa slowly looked back at him. She gulped really hard before walking slowly in a steady pace towards the sturdy man in front of her.

Her eyes looked straight at his.

She heaved a deep sigh before saying,"You really wanna know what we are back then?"

Jungkook stared back at her.

"Mm"

Lisa looked down, contemplating.

After a couple more seconds, she looked back up with a determined gaze.

"Kookoo...we are"

"Hey!! What was that for?! I was busying myself here!" Bam whined when Nayeon threw a punch at his back.

"Where is my lunch box you insolent man!"

Bam's eyes grew wide. He gulped really hard before saying,"Your lunch box is over there"

He pointed at the top side of the cabinet where they place their stuffs. Nayeon looked at it and smiled. Phew, her lunch box is still there.

"B-but the contents of it are now inside my stomach" Bam continued in a small voice.

Nayeon's face scrunched. She turned red in anger as she stared at Bam with Lazer like eyes.

And so, the riot began between Bam and his friends, and Nayeon and her squad.

This is the scene that Jungkook saw when he entered the room.

His classmates throwing careless punches in all directions.

Some are strangling the other while some are kicking like a shifu.

His mouth twitched as he tried his best to compose his self.

When the Class D saw Jungkook coming in, they immediately quieted down.

His coldness is enough to scare them to their wits!

It's as if they were suddenly teleported to the North Pole.

Jungkook ignored the sudden peacefulness and stares of his classmates as he sat down in his place.

He looked out of the window as he remembers.

"Kookoo. We are what you think we are back then"

He squinted his eyes as he asked,"What?"

"I am actually your best friend but because you forgot me, I became mad. Disappointed. Outrageous even. Hence, I decided to ignore you back. Why must I suffer in a friendship that only 'I' can remember?"

He frowned at her words.

"First of all, if you are my best friend, then what kind of a friend are you? You clearly knew that I am suffering an amnestic syndrome because of the damage that occured to some areas of my brain that are vital for memory processing. How can you be so childish of playing "We are not okay, I hate you" just because I forgot you? Excuse me, to be certain, I didn't just forgot you. I forgot the year that you are included, not just you. How can you ignore me just like that? I'm the one suffering here you know. Of course. I should've known! That's why! That's why I feel attached to you. It's because we are actually close back then"

His long speech shocked the already frozen Lisa.

He... uttered a long paragraph. That's.. actually rare.

He pondered for a bit and then he faced her with a smile.

"But fine then. I'm sorry for forgetting my best friend. I'll make it up to you from now on"

Lisa:...

She wasn't expecting things to turn out like this! At all!

Jungkook suddenly felt weird.

How come it's a natural thing for him to talk to this girl without feeling any ounce of hate or disgust?

He can't believe it. He even said sorry to her. He's like pampering a spoiled princess!

Lisa still didn't got to respond before turning around to fly away.

Jungkook looked at her retreating back.

So turns out she's his best friend. That's why.

"Jungkook?" Jungkook came out from his revery when Chanyeol's zoomed in face came to his view.

He moved back as he stared at Chanyeol coldly.

"What?" He asked blandly.

Chanyeol smiled before saying,"Lady Kim is calling you to her office"

"Aunt Kim! I told you, I am a capable woman now" Lisa said as she sat obediently with an elegant air around her.

Lady Kim nodded approvingly before saying,"This consultant of yours is a student here so that you guys have plenty a lot more times to plan. This consultant of yours has also a lot of knowledge in the business world since his family is a bunch of tycoons except for his father."

Lisa propped her chin before saying,"So it's like a tutor? But only about business.. hmm?"

Lady Kim nodded.

A knock then came in.

"Come in. The door's open"

When the door opened, Jungkook's tall figure came to view.

"You?"

"You?!!!"

Both of them asked at the same time while pointing at each other.
