"Father's girl"

A small girl in the age of three looking like a little bun jumped up and down the stairs when she heard her father's arrival.

"Appa! Appa! You're home!!" The little girl ran towards the man in his suit.

"Kiyah! My baby is getting heavier now!" The man said as he smiled widely at his daughter while carrying her.

The little girl giggled.

"Appa, let's play at the park! I'm going to bring Peipei!"

The man looked at the doll on his daughter's hands that is named Peipei.

"How about we leave the doll for now? Hmm? I'll go buy you ice cream"

"Sure!"

And with that, the father and daughter duo played around the park.

The wind blows as the two smiled and laughed happily without any care in the world.

Years later, the father and daughter duo is still inseparable.

"You just have to smile in front of the camera and yet you can't even understand a simple instruction! You really are dumb!" Mother Manoban scolded the young Lisa angrily.

Little Lisa soon cried.

"Uwaaa~ I'm sorry mom! I won't disappoint you ever again" she cried out but Mother Manoban only looked at her coldly before commanding,"Go kneel on the Sault and think about your mistake"

Mother Manoban gave Lisa a stack of books as she let her kneel on the saulted basket under the sun.

Little Lisa followed her mother's command as she quietly cried.

The shards of salts piercing her knees as it bleeds little by little.

"Lora! What do you think you're doing?!" Father Kang walked in of the garden angrily.

He took Lisa in his arms as he glared at Mother Manoban.

"That child can't even understand a simple instruction on the photoshoot a while ago! How can I conceive such a dumb daughter?! Not even knowing what's left or right! That kid must be disciplined! Stop spoiling her!" Mother Manoban said angrily.

"I'm not spoiling her. I'm just giving her what she didn't get from you. She's a kid for Pete's sake Lora!! Working as a model should not even be her priority! She must be out there enjoying herself!!"

Father Kang turned around as he walks past Mother Manoban.

"Don't you dare walk her out of here or I swear!"

Father Kang ignored her as he walked out of the garden.

Inside the living room, he immediately checked his daughter. Her bleeding knees made him frown.

"I'm sorry. I came in late" Father Kang said but Little Lisa only looked up to him before smiling widely.

To Lisa, her father is her knight.

He saved her. He understands her. He knows her. And most importantly, he loves her.

She grew up by his side.

Kang Ro. A loving father.

He got everything.

He's handsome, he's rich, smart and talented.

He's well known among the aristocrats.

His marriage with Lora Manoban was a tragic one.

At first, they did love each other. But as years went by, Lora changed.

Her eyes for power and money grew bigger.

She became vicious. Selfish. Self centered. Ambitious, but in the worst ways.

Kang Ro did his best to be patient.

He tried his best to make things work again but as time went on, things are already getting out of hand.

He fell out of love and because Lora often abuses Lisa, he came up with one solution.

And it is to divorce her.

Lora didn't want that of course.

Without Kang Ro, the company she wanted won't be passed to her.

"No! How about the Kang Corporation? No one is capable enough to handle it instead of me!!"

Kang Ro looked at his wife coldly.

"I will handle it for now"

Lora scoffed,"I thought you hated handling the corporation?"

"I will handle it for now. After ten years, I'll pass it to Lisa"

She scoffed once again.

"That dumb stupid little girl? Hah! She can't even understand a simple fraction in her age! She will only end up destroying the corporation Ro!"

Kang Ro frowned.

"Don't belittle our daughter"

"Sure! If you want divorce, I'll give it to you! But leave Lisa to me"

"No. You'll only use her for money. I can't let that happen"

Lora Manoban clenched her fist.

That night, Kang Ro packed his luggage. He hugged the crying girl as he whispers,"I'll come back to fetch you on your birthday. Wait for me okay?"

Little Lisa waited.

On her birthday, she sat in the middle of a huge table.

Lots of foods are there. Beautiful and huge cake, ice creams, cupcakes and many more, but the classmates that she invited didn't came.

She looked sad and lonely.

She stared at the sky above.

Father will fetch me. I'll wait.

As Kang Ro bought a huge teddy bear for his daughter, he smiled.

She would love this.

Unfortunately, while he's on his way to his car, he was suddenly hit by a driving car on the road.

He thought he would die that time.

He kept on saying,"I'm sorry my daughter"

But luckily, an old man saw him as he sent Kang Ro to the hospital.

Mother Manoban heard the news that Kang Ro was hit by a car, but after knowing that he is still alive, she furiously called a number.

"How is he still alive?! I told you to drive on him multiple times!!"

The other end answered,"We are not the one who hit him. The hit was an accident but the opposite car ran away and left his body. We thought no one would see him that's why we just left his body there"

"You idiots!"

Mother Manoban ended the call as she breathes furiously.

No! He must not live! If he lives, the company and all the money would all be given to Lisa and she will be left with nothing! That must not happen.

Hence, that night, Mother Manoban came in running towards the hospital's entrance.

Kang Ro opened his heavy eyes as he looked around.

He's at the hospital.

He thanked god for saving him.

As he closes his eyes again, the door to his room opened.

A smiling Mother Manoban came in.

"Why are you still alive?" Those are the last words he heard before he felt like breathing is difficult.

It is because Mother Manoban suddenly injected something on his dextrose.

His complexion became worse as his lips became paler and paler as seconds passed by.

Tears welled up in his eyes as he remembers his smiling daughter.

Till the end of his breath, he wished only one thing for her.

Lisa my daughter, I want you to be happy.
