"Revelation pt. 1"

It has been a week now since the Class D caused a chaos on Hanguk University.

Because of what happened there, they are tasked to clean the school building A every dismissal for a month.

The whole school building! For a month!

The Class D are busy cleaning the hallways on the third floor when an unexpected guest suddenly came.

"Jungkook-ah! Can I speak to you for a minute?" Mother Lee suddenly came.

Jungkook could only nod at her request as the mother and son pair walked out of the building.

"Haish..I wish my mother would come too to fetch me from this missery!" Bam whined.

Nayeon immediately smacked his head as she says,"Instead of whining, just do your job at cleaning just so that we could go home earlier! Psshh what a baby"

Lisa looked at the sinking figures of Jungkook and his mother. Her mouth twitched when she remembered how Mother Lee looked at her a while ago.

It's as if she's looking down on her.

After half an hour, the Class D finally finished their cleaning.

All of them walked out of the University as if their energies were sucked out by the school. They all look like walking zombies in the daylight.

They all bid their goodbyes before walking in different directions.

Lisa stood there at the gate of the school as she waited for Jungkook.

"Shall we go now?" Lisa immediately smiled when she heard that voice. She turned around and nodded happily.

The two are now walking quietly in the sidewalk.

Lisa looked at Jungkook.

"What did your mother told you just now?" Lisa asked.

"She wanted me to go to her final trial for tomorrow"

The two fell quiet again.

Every steps they took were synchronized.

"You should attend her trial" Lisa finally broke the silence.

"Mm"

After for what seems like an hour, both of them are now standing outside the Manoban gates.

"I should go now. Bye"

"Mm. Make sure to review the notes I gave you" Jungkook reminded. He then walked towards the girl before bending his body down.

Lisa thought he was going to whisper something to her but the whisper she's anticipating never came.

Instead, a soft kiss landed on her cheek.

"Tomorrow, after my mother's trial, I'll fetch you. Let's go watch movie. Consider tomorrow as our first official date" Jungkook said before walking away.

Lisa's face grew hot but she soon smiled softly as she looked at the man walking away.

"Sure. Let's have our official first date tomorrow" Lisa whispered.

It was already dark when Jungkook arrived home.

When he arrived in front of his condo, a man he never wanted to see was leaning in his doorway.

"What are you doing here?" He asked Sungmin coldly.

"I wanted to show you this"

"What's that?"

Sungmin then handed the envelope to Jungkook.

He opened the envelope and read the contents. After a minute, his brows furrowed as his jaw clenched.

His hold on the envelope tightened.

"You should tell her" Sungmin said.

It has been 10 minutes now but Jungkook is still silent as he looked at the papers in his hands coldly.

"I'll tell her at the right time"

"I'll give you until tomorrow. She must know or else I'll be the one to tell her"

Jungkook glared at Sungmin.

"I'll handle this. Don't meddle"

He entered his condo as he slammed the door loudly.

That night, Jungkook can't fall asleep.

Should he tell her?

Won't she be disappointed?

After a lot of contemplating, Jungkook finally reached out for his phone as he video called Lisa.

Lisa immediately answered his call.

"Woah! Can't sleep?" Lisa asked as she placed her phone in a stand. She then smiled cheekily at Jungkook.

"Miss me?" She said.

Jungkook looked at her on the screen. She looks so happy.

He then nodded his head.

"Mm. What are you doing? Why are you still not asleep?" He asked.

"I have a meeting with Mr. Park, my assistant. I think we're getting close to finding my dad" Lisa said happily.

Jungkook's eyes widened.

"Y-you're looking for your father?"

"Yes. I've been looking for him for three years now and I think we're getting closer"

"He's a-alive?"

Lisa frowned.

"Wait. You thought my dad is dead? No no. He's alive. I'm sure he is. There has been no report of his death"

Jungkook's head throbbed.

Looking at her hopeful eyes, he doesn't know if he should tell her.

"Mr. Park said that there's a possibility that we'll locate my father by next month! I'm excited Kookoo!"

Throughout the call, Lisa happily stated her plans once she reunited with her father once again.

It's already midnight when the call ended.

In the end, Jungkook didn't find any courage to tell her the truth.

He grabbed his hair as he gritted his teeth.

He doesn't know what to do anymore.

He doesn't want to see her cry. He doesn't want to hurt her.

He just wanted to make her happy.

Why does things turned out to be like this?

That night, he didn't got to sleep. He stayed awake till the sun rised.

The next day...

Jungkook walked out of his condo when he suddenly received a message from Lisa.

[Let's have our date after the trial!♥ And also, I'm sending my power luck for Mother Lee. You guys will win this case!]

Jungkook clenched his phone. He looked at those message painfully.

He heaved a deep sigh before going back inside his condo.

I need more time. I need more time to sort things out.

Meanwhile, Lisa was busy reading an article about what to do on your first date when she suddenly received a call.

She answered the call and says,"Hello? Who is this?"

"Lisa? This is Sungmin"

Lisa was a bit taken aback. Why would Sungmin call her?

"Oh. What made you call?"

"L-lets..meet at the cafe across our University. I have something to tell you"

"Uh...okay. I'll be there in ten"

With that, the call ended.
