Your eyes tell
The whole activities were not the same anymore. There is an awkward atmosphere floating around the Group 5.
Their task this time is that they have to create an origami (paper mache) that represents each members. Mingyu was tasked to create an origami that represents Hyejin. Hyejin was tasked to create an origami that represents Jungkook. Mihyo was tasked to create an origami that represents Jihee and Jihee was tasked to create an origami that represents Mihyo. Lisa was tasked to create an origami that represents Mingyu and last but not the least, Jungkook was tasked to create an origami that represents Lisa.
Their group was just sitting in a form of circle, doing their origamis with no one daring to open a conversation. Hyejin was almost finished on her own work when she looked up and saw that Jungkook was just looking at Lisa blankly. She looked at Jungkook's work but she can't seem to find any. Maybe he didn't do anything at all. She then diverted her gaze at Lisa.
Lisa's just staring at the ground, crumpling the paper in her hands. Mingyu seems to notice it too that's why he tried to liven up the atmosphere by saying "Am I a crumpled paper now? or does it represents a poop?"
Lisa looked shocked at Mingyu. She didn't realized what she's been doing this past few minutes that they're sitting around.
Mingyu laughed at Lisa's reaction.
"Hahahaha, I'm just kidding. I know you're not in the right mind anymore," Mingyu said earning a glare from Hyejin.
"Okay, I think I should explain mine first," Hyejin said earning a couple of nods from the latter.
"Jeon Jungkook!" Hyejin suddenly said, startling the others, catching Jungkook's attention, making him to divert his gaze at Hyejin.
"I'm your ex but you seem to not give a f*ck anymore so this is the origami I made that perfectly symbolizes you," Hyejin said, fishing out an origami that is shaped like an eye glasses.
"For me, you might want your eyes checked. This symbolizes you because you're blinded by your own belief. Give an eye glasses to a man who is near sighted will soon be able to see clearly, but give an eye glasses to a blinded man won't do anything. To me, you're the blinded man. No matter how much the people around you tries to tell you the truth, you would choose to not hear them and turn a blind eye because for you, what you see is what you believe. Oh, and also, just a quick tip: always remember that once someone stopped on chasing after you, that's the only time that you will realize, that you miss that someone's accompany," Hyejin said. Jungkook looked at her for a long while.
"I'm not saying this on my behalf. I'm saying this for Lisa," Hyejin finished.
"I know," Jungkook answered.
"So, it's your turn now. What did you created for Lisa?" Hyejin asked but Jungkook just stood up from his seat, walking away from them, with his hands on his pockets.
Hyejin was about to stand up as well to stop him but Lisa caught her hands immediately.
"There's no need to do that. It's fine. I get it. What he sees is what he believes. No matter how many glasses you gave him, he still won't be able to see through it, because he's the blind man," Lisa said. Hyejin sat back at her place as they all look at Jungkook's retreating back.
At the resort's clinic
"How is she?" Jungkook asked the head of the clinic.
After walking out from his group, he decided to just stay here at the clinic for a while.
"She's fine. There's no serious problem that happened to her body so you can be rest assured that she's safe," Dr. Park answered.
Jungkook sat at the sofa near the clinic's bed. He recalled the time that the accident happened. The fear that he sees in Lisa's eyes. To him, everyone around you can lie but their eyes will always tell the truth and just by looking at Lisa's eyes, he saw the fear running through it which only means one thing.
She didn't did that on purpose.
Jungkook hit his head with his palms.
"Aish! You're so stupid!" Jungkook muttered to his self as he keeps on hitting his head.
"I don't know if you're a blind man or a crazy man," Hyejin's voice startled Jungkook, causing him to stand up and look at the doorway in a fast motion.
Hyejin is there, leaning at the doorway.
"What are you doing here?" Jungkook asked, gaining back his composure.
"I'm here to watch how you regret your impulsiveness," Hyejin answered truthfully.
Jungkook just looked at her blankly earning a chuckle from the latter. Hyejin sat beside Jungkook.
"You know that I still like you right?" Hyejin said earning a nod from Jungkook.
"But I can't keep on liking you because I also need to get loved. I can't grow old liking someone who has his eyes on someone else," Hyejin said.
"So let this be our proper closure. Jeon Jungkook of Class A, I, Han Hyejin of Class B will finally stop on liking you and will do her best to move on. I am now setting you free Jeon Jungkook," Hyejin said with a bow at the end earning a hysterical laugh from Jungkook.
Hyejin hugged Jungkook as she whispered "Goodbye, go get her" earning a chuckle from the latter.
"I will."
Grass Field in front of the Resort's Hotel
"I thought you did that on purpose to be honest," Jin-ah stated truthfully, earning a deep sigh from Lisa.
"But look on the brighter side, you know the truth so don't feel bad about it," Jin-ah said, patting the back of her friend.
Right now, Lisa, Jin-ah and Sunji decided to meet up and relax at the field.
"Why don't you try visiting her. Maybe it'll lessen up your heavy feeling," Sunji suggested earning a nod from JIn-ah.
"You're right" Lisa said, and with that, she stood up from her seat as she made her way towards the resort's clinic.
When she reaches the clinic, she saw the door open. She was about to go inside but then she saw Hyejin and Jungkook sitting in the couch, hugging each other.
She smiled bitterly at the sight.
Maybe I'm the only one who doesn't deserve his forgiveness at all.
So instead of visiting Jangmi in the clinic, Lisa chose to walk straight ahead till she reach the garden behind the resort.
The place looks calm and peaceful.
Cherry blossoms are floating everywhere.
The leaves of the Sakura tree is scattered everywhere yet it still gives out a beautiful ambiant.
Lisa saw a bench near a Sakura tree.
She sat there for a good 20 minutes, relaxing, thinking about nothing.
She was about to stand up but she was startled the moment that she opens her eyes.
Because when she opened her eyes, she saw Jungkook sitting right next to her, staring at her softly.
"Ahh! What are you doing there? Why didn't I heard you coming?" Lisa asked, touching her chest, feeling the rapid pace of her heart beat.
"You look so peaceful that's why I came without making a sound," Jungkook answered timidly.
"Ahhh, I'm off to go then," Lisa said as she walks past Jungkook.
She was finally walking away from him but his grip stopped her from walking any further.
She looked at him a little shock.
"What are you doin—
"I'm sorry for my past behaviour. I didn't mean it. I was a blind man, blinded by my own beliefs. Please accept my apology," Jungkook said it all in one go.
Lisa looked at him blankly but then she soon burst into fits of laughter.
"Hahahahahahha You looked like you're apologizing for your dear life," Lisa said while laughing her heart out.
Jungkook looked at her in daze. She really does look much more beautiful when smiling, but is this her way of accepting his apology?
"And also, a while ago. I actually created an origami that represents you. I just didn't showed it to everyone because I wanted to tell you this in person with just the two of us and no one around," Jungkook said bringing out a paper mache from his pocket.
Lisa looked at it in awe.
Right now, she feels like her heart is about to burst from happiness.
