Ever since the night of the break up, Haru and Hikaru have been going on plenty of dates together. Of course, he was only doing it because he felt obligated to. Haru did find Hikaru attractive. She was actually pretty cool. Behind all that professional and elegant exterior lies a tough girl that is pretty much one of the guys. Haru thought she was pretty cool to hang with. He learned a lot about her childhood and what she likes. She even has a secret that not even her parents know about. She hasn't told him, yet, but she had planned to soon. She just wanted to wait until the time was right and figure out how.

Imani, of course spent times talking to Ayaka and Tetsuya about what happened, but she mainly found herself talking and hanging out with Kaito-sensei more and more, even outside of school. It was weird how she could talk to him about everything, even her break up with Haru. Kaito always seemed to genuinely care about the lives of the students. A lot of teachers and other faculty don't really care about the personal lives of the students, so she found that trait admirable.

Imani and Haru have not spoken or seen each other, since the break up. They figured it was best not to be around one another. It would be too painful.

"You were really in love with him, huh?" Asked Kaito as he took a sip of his coffee.

Him and Imani sat in a small cafe.

"I wish I hadn't. Have you ever been through this before?" Imani asked him, sipping her coffee as well.

"Plenty of times. Believe it or not, I have had my heart broken by many women".

"No".

"Yeah, who would want to dump this pretty face, right?" He asked, jokingly.

Both him and Imani laughed. It felt good to laugh again. She hadn't in awhile.

"Who knew hanging out with a teacher would be this fun?" Imani finished her coffee.

"Think of me as the fun uncle or hot young fun student teacher".

Imani laughed again.

"You're so silly, Kaito-sensei".

"I'm glad I cheered you up, even a little bit". He said, smiling warmly at her as he too finished his coffee.

"Let's go for a walk".

Imani nodded.

The two left the cafe and took a walk around the neighborhood. The wind blew through Imani's hair. Kaito took small glances at Imani as she seemed to be relaxed. A small smile graced her red painted lips as she closed her eyes and enjoyed the breeze on her face. Kaito couldn't help, but smile at how Imani seemed to be slowly getting over Haru.

He knew the two of them felt strongly for one another. He saw it on the first day of school. It was like the two was fated to be together. They immediately hit it off, even if it was rocky at first. They have been through so much. To think that Haru broke it off because he fell instantly in love with some other girl. Kaito immediately frowned at that, remembering how often he was dumped for another guy.

Imani was completely broken and shattered about the break up. It was hard for Kaito to watch Imani be in so much pain.

"Hey, who was your first love?" Imani asked out of the blue.

Kaito was snapped from his thought. "A girl named Shinobu Ayakatsuki. It was in high school. I was about your age. She was so beautiful and popular. She was smart and sporty and wealthy. I always knew it could never be, but even that one tiny little attention she gave me was enough for me. That one smile or wave. It melted my heart". Kaito answered her question.

"How did you get over it?" Imani asked, curiously.

"I found other girls. One girl that actually liked me for who I was or being immersed in studying or other activities, until you eventually forget or it just stops hurting".

"How long did it take?"

"Months. Getting over a first love is never easy".

Imani nodded her head.

Kaito hated seeing Imani this way. If only he could make feel better somehow.

"Let's go on a date". He told her, smiling.

Imani stopped in her tracks and turned around. "Huh". She looked at Kaito in confusion.

"Let's go a date, right now". He told her, still smiling.

"Is that appropriate?" She asked, getting flustered.

"Sure. We are not at school. I'm not nurse Kaito. I'm just Kaito and you are just Imani. Nothing more. We are just two people".

Imani thought about it and shrugged her shoulders. How bad could it be? It's Kaito-sensei, the most handsome man in the world. Any student would love to go on a date with him.

"Okay sure". Imani answered him, smiling back.

The two of them went on an actual date. They did all of the stuff Imani has seen on those cutesy dramas. She always wanted to do that. They went shopping, got lunch, went to an amusement park, Kaito won her a panda plushy from those claw machines, went to an arcade, they got dinner and dessert and took a moonlight stroll through a park. It was a nice day for Imani. She really enjoyed herself. She didn't think she would. Not because they was anything wrong with Kaito. She just wasn't expecting to not think about Haru. It felt good.

"I had fun. Thank you so much. I needed that". Imani told Kaito.

"No problem. I'm just glad I could help. Don't like seeing you in pain".

Imani smiled warmly. He really did care. The two continued walking, until they stopped and turned around. The park they were taking a stroll on, overlooked a river and a bridge. It looked a lot prettier at night with the moon reflecting off the surface of the water. At least to Imani. She always enjoyed nightly scenery the most. She didn't know why though.

"Surprising that you don't have a girlfriend". Imani said, staring at the view.

"Yeah, too engrossed in my job, I guess".

"Don't you ever get lonely?"

"Nope. I have you, remember?"

Imani chuckled.

"Yep".

"What is your ideal type?" Imani asked, curiously.

Kaito stared at Imani, before looking at the view.

"Hm, I don't know. I never really had a type. She would have to be attractive of course. Feisty is always fun. Intelligent, caring, friendly, self sacrificing, funny, loyal, great to hang out with. You know. General stuff".

"Almost sounds like me". Imani chuckled.

Kaito chuckled as well.

"What guy wouldn't fall for you. You're a catch". He said.

"Thanks", she said, getting embarrassed.

Kaito noticed and chuckled again. "So cute". He whispered.

"Well, I should probably be getting home". Imani said. "Thanks for the...".

Imani was immediately cut off when Kaito gently grabbed her by the waist and kissed her gently on her lips. Imani widened her eyes in shock and face flushed.

"Imani?" Came a unwanted familiar voice.

Kaito parted from Imani's lips slowly. The two of them looked up to see Haru and Hikaru.
