Aasha's Pov

"Dev, please come and have lunch while it's hot" I asked him for the hundreth time. 

"I said I am busy and I will eat later. Don't pester me" he said in his serious tone while typing something on his laptop. I sighed looking at him. Today he woke up earlier than before I could and came to office without even having his breakfast. I got worried that he will be hungry. So I cooked his favorite dishes and packed it. I came to his office to give him his lunch without even having anything from morning. Ma and chachi scolded me for not having breakfast and lunch. But I convinced them that i will have my lunch with Dev. But this man….. I have been asking him to have his lunch for nearly fifteen minutes. But he kept saying he is busy and will eat later. I looked at the lunch box and at him. He is seriously working on his laptop.

I sighed when I saw 2 empty cup black coffee on his desk. I smiled recalling our memories in this cabin. I served the food on the plate and stood up from the couch. I went near him with the plate in my hands. He acted like he is  engrossed in his work. He is doing this all just because he is angry on me. How can my husband be this stubborn, ha? He is still not out of his angry bird mood even after receiving my kiss in the reception. I thought his anger will reduce a little bit but no… There was not even a slightest change in his behavior. 

I placed a morsel of food near his lips hesitantly. He stopped typing on his laptop and turned his face away making my face fell. 

"Dev, I know you're mad at me. But don't show it on food. You said you're busy, right? You continue your work. I will feed you. Okay?" I asked him softly. 

"I am not hungry. You can leave now. Antony will drop you to our house" he said not turning his face to me. I gritted my teeth seeing him acting like a stubborn kid. 

Dev, today you have to eat this food. Until then I won't leave you. If you're stubborn then I am more stubborn than you! I went near him and bite his earlobe harshly. 

"Aashaaa!" he hissed turning towards me with a jerk. I took this as my chance and stuffed the morsel in his mouth forcefully. He was taken aback with my move. He glared at me rubbing his ear while chewing the food. I handed him a glass of water which he took hurriedly. 

"What do you think you're doing?" he asked me after gulping a glass of water. I felt guilty seeing his red earlobe.

"Why are you behaving like a child? When I say I am busy then that means you should not disturb me. Can't you even understand this simple matter?" He said through his gritted teeth and was about to get up from his seat. I panicked that he will not have his food so I hurriedly pushed him on his shoulder back on his chair with quiet some force which surprised him. He looked at me shocked. 

"What the he…." his voice died in his throat when I sat on his lap and stuffed another morsel in his mouth before he could show any reaction. He looked at me with his wide eyes clearly surprised by my move. I felt his body get tensed of my sudden move. I blushed looking down when I realised what i did. 

" I…. I.. won't disturb you if you finish this food" I said softy looking at him. He looked at me sharply making me gulp. 

Whaf if he push me down? He won't do that, would he?

"Sit properly. Don't fall" he said wrapping his arms around my waist securely, pulling me closer to him making me smile at his protectiveness towards me. He chewed the food slowly while looking at me with his intense gaze. I looked down shyly when he continue to stare at me. I fed him another morsel which he ate obediently. 

"How is the food?" I asked him feeding another morsel to him. 

"Good" he said looking into my eyes. 

Good? That's it? I expected more compliments from him.

I huffed mentally but still didn't showed my frustration on my face.

"I cooked it" I said looking at him. 

"Mmm" he only hummed much to my disappointment. 

"How long you're going to be mad at me, Dev?" I asked him sadly feeding him the last morsel of the food. He didn't said anything only turned his face away from me again. I washed my hand in the plate. I cupped his face making me look at me. I smiled at him and wiped his lips with my saree pallu. He looked at me without saying anything. I traced his beard covered jaw with my thump. I looked at his eyes which has softened for the first time. 

"Be mad at me as much as you want. You have that right on me. And I also know very well that I deserve it. But don't ever push me away, Dev. I have only you in my life" I said as a tear slipped from the corner of my eyes. I smiled when he wiped my tear slowly. He hugged me placing my head on the crook of his neck while rubbing my back up and down. We both stayed like this for a few minutes. 

"Have you had lunch?" he asked me while stroking my hair. 

"You are asking this question now only that too after eating two people's portion of food" I said wrapping my hands around his neck. He made me look at him  pulling me away from his neck

"Why you didn't tell me before?" he asked me softly tucking a stray strand of hir behind my ear. I only smiled at him. He kissed my forehead and suddenly carried me in a bridal style making me gasp in surprise. He placed me on the couch. 

"Wait here" saying this he went to his desk and called someone standing near the French window with his one hand tucked inside his pocket. He looked so handsome. I continue to admire my handsome husband. I looked away awkwardly when he suddenly caught me staring at him…. no…. no… ogling at him. 

"I asked Ramesh to order food from the nearby restaurant. Wait till he comes" he said finishing his call. 

"Okay" I said with a smile. But my smile faded when I saw him turning to his angry bird mood again. He continued to work on his laptop not even gazing at my side. I bite my lips feeling utterly defeated. Ramesh came with my lunch after a few minutes. I thanked him with a smile. He nodded at me and left the cabin. 

"Now have your lunch" Dev said while reading some file. 

"Won't you feed me?" I asked him biting my lips. He looked at me with his raised eyebrows when I said this.

"I have an important work to do" he said looking at me. 

"How can you be so heartless, Dev? I cooked food for you and even fed you with my own hands. But now you're saying that you have an important work. Is your work more important for you than your wife? Everyone says right. Men will change after marriage. You were once a loving sweet boyfriend who always pammered me with your love and care. But after making me your wife you're not even bothered to feed me the food now" I said looking at him. He looked at me for a few minutes and chuckled. 

"Yeah I were once a sweet and loving boyfriend. And now I am a heartless husband. I agree. But tell me one thing. Who is the reason for my change, ha?" he asked me while glaring at me. I couldn't able to meet his gaze due to my guilt. I looked down at my lap while my eyes filled with tears. 

"Weren't you blaming me for being heartless husband? Why you suddenly became silent?" he asked coming near me. He tilted my face by my chin to meet his gaze. 

"Did I ask you to cook? No, right? Did I ask you to not to have lunch? No. Did I ask you to come to my office? No. Did I ask you to feed me? No…. Then why the hell you're blaming me for being a heartless husband, ha?" he asked me softly yet in his cold tone which made me shiver. 

Yes he didn't asked me to do any of this. I did this all by myself heartily  for him. I wanted to show my love for him through my efforts. My tears threatened to fall from my eyes but I controlled it. It's not time to cry. Crying won't solve the problem. I consoled myself again and again. 

He sighed at me when I didn't said anything. He was about to leave me but i grabbed his wrist. He looked at me with a frown. 

"Dev, are you going to feed me or not? I know I did wrong. So are you going to punish me like this? You want me to stay in empty stomach. If you don't feed me now then I will sit here without even taking a single drop of water" I said stubbornly while holding his wrist with my both hands tightly. He looked at me and my hands which is clutching his wrist. 

"Leave me hand" he said softly which I shook my head in no. 

"If I leave you then you will go and continue your work. Then you will not feed me. Dev you can continue to be angry with me but only after feeding me the food. I am really hungry. Please" I pleaded looking at him. 

"Did I say that I won't feed you?" he asked me sternly. I gulped looking at him.

"Stupid. I was about to go to the washroom to wash my hands so that I can feed you. How can I work leaving you with an empty stomach?" he asked me making me smile brightly. 

"Now leave my hand and stop smiling like a fool" he said. I immediately left his hand. He came after a few seconds washing his hand and sat beside me. He served the food on the plate. Then only I noticed that its all my favorite food. And it's from my favorite restaurant too. My stomach grumbled when I smelled the mouth watering aroma of the food. 

"Eat" he said placing a morsel of food in front of my lips. I ate without any complaint. I smiled when I saw his softened expression. 

"Why are you smiling like a fool?" he asked me while wiping the sauce from the corner of my lips with his thump. I shook my head as no trying not to smile like a stupid. He glared at me and continued to feed me. When he fed me another morsel I intentionally bit his fingers but not harshly. His eyes turned darker making gulp in fear. 

"Sorry. I was just hungry ha ha ha" I said with an awkward smile when I felt something different emotion in his gaze which made me shift uncomfortably in my place. 

"Don't provoke me. Because it will not end in a good way. Eat obediently" he said in his horse husky voice and continued to fed. I didn't do anything naughty and silently ate my food. He finished feeding me and wiped my lips with the tissue making me smile recalling the old days. Then he got up from the couch.

"Go to our house and take rest. Don't do any work. And don't walk here and there. Tomorrow we will visit the doctor to check your leg's  condition. Now go and don't disturb me" saying this he again went to his seat and resumed his work making me sigh. 

"Okay I will leave now. But come home soon. I will be waiting for you" I said looking at him with smile. He looked at me away from his laptop. 

"I will come home late due to some urgent work. So don't wait for me. Have dinner and sleep soon" he said softly making me pout sadly. I nodded at him and took the lunch bag and left his cabin after glancing at him for a few seconds. I thought of visiting my friends but the lunch time is already over. I don't want to disturb their work. I saw Varun when I reached the ground floor. 

"Bhabi" Varun called with a bright smile. 

"You here?" I asked him with a frown. 

"I work here as a manager" he said. 

"Oh thats good" I said feeling happy that he is at least helping Dev now.

"You came here with lunch for bhai?" he asked me which I nodded my head as yes. 

"Perks of getting married I see" he said teasing making me glare at him playfully.

"Bhabi, please help me with one thing. I was busy with my work so I put my phone on silent. So I didn't noticed Neha's call. Now she angry at me for not attending her call. She also blocked my number. Please ask her to remove my number from block list. I beg you" he pleaded me like small boy making me chuckle. 

"Don't worry I will talk to her" I said with a smile which he nodded happily at me. Then I left the office. 

After few hours

"Bhabi, I'm calling for more than five times. Where you lost?" Anu asked shaking her hand in front of me pulling me out of my own thoughts. I looked at her with a smile. After coming home I talked with ma and Chachi for few minutes. Then chachu called me to play chess with him in the garden. After defeating him for a two long rounds he got escaped from me. But I kept sitting in the garden to think how to convince my angry stubborn husband. I was so engrossed in my thoughts that I didn't even noticed Anu's arrival. It's already evening time. 

"Nothing" I said looking at her. 

"Is my brother still not talking to you properly?" she asked me with her sad face. 

"Your brother is a tough rock. It's really difficult to convince him. Such an angry bird your brother is" i said angrily which made her laugh hardly. 

"No one dared to call my brother as an angry bird. But you… Bhabi you really… have enough courage. Only you can all Dev bhai as an angry bird" she said laughing while clutching her stomach. 

"Stop laughing, Anu" I said slapping her shoulder playfully while laughing with her. 

" Bhabi, come let's go" she standing from the bench taking my hand in hers. I looked at her confused. 

"Where?" I asked her. 

"You will know that soon" saying this she dragged me along with her to her car. 

Few minutes later she stopped the car in front of Neha's apartment. I looked at Anu with a frown. 

"Why we are here?" I asked her. But she didn't said anything to me but dragged me out of the car. 

Both brother and sister is same…..

I sighed mentally and followed her. Neha opened the door when Anu pressed the calling bell.

"Welcome" Neha invited us with her bright smile. When we both went inside Neha's apartment I was shocked to see Riya, Shreya and  zarah in the living room. I looked at them with my wide eyes.

"You all are here" I asked them surprised while sitting beside Riya. Anu sat beside Neha.

"How was our surprise?" Riya asked me with her bright smile.

"Of course I liked this surprise" I said feeling happy to meet my friends at one place.

"We all know that you must be feeling quite bad because Dev Bhai is still angry with you. That's why we all arranged this get together to lighten up your mood" Neha said. 

"Thankyou to all. Seeing you all here I feel very happy" I said smiling at everyone for their concern for me. I am really lucky to get this friends. Soon Neha served us some snacks and soft drinks.

"So how is everything going between you and Mr.Malhotra?" While sipping the mango juice Riya asked making me sigh sadly.

"He…he is very upset with me. I feel like he won't forgive me forever" I said in my choked voice looking at down at my lap remembering how he behaves coldly with me. Zarah, patted my shoulder. I smiled at her with my teary eyes.

"It's all your fault. Just because of you Dev bhai is now giving cold shoulder to you" Neha scolded me.

"Neha, we humans do mistakes in our life. And Aasha also did a mistake. But now she realised her mistake. I don't know why Mr. Malhotra is still punishing her" Shreya said.

"Shreya is right. Aasha is also trying to convince Mr. Malhotra, right? Aasha did you apolized to him or not?" Riya asked me.

"Yeah i asked him sorry for more than hundred time. Whenever I say sorry he will only get more mad at me. So I stopped asking that instead i planned to show him how  sorry I am feeling for leaving him. I am even taking initiation in our relationship leaving all my shyness but still he always push me away" I said sadly fidgeting with the end of my saree pallu.

"Leaving all your shyness? What do you mean by that bhabi?" Anu asked me with a mischievous grin on her face. I noticed everyone is looking at me with their curious gaze making me go all red.

"No...no. Nothing like you all think. I mean…in past he was the one who took initiation in our relationship by cooking food for me, feeding me, hugging me, planning all romantic dates eye... I always gets shy whenever he do this all. But this time I wanted to do what he did to me before. That's what I was trying to say" i said while blushing.

"I got…I got it" Anu sequeled making everyone look at her like she is some crazy girl.

"Why are you yelling like a manic girl?" Neha scolded Anu making her pout.

"Neha bhabi, today Aasha bhabi cooked Dev bhai's all favourite dishes as his lunch and went to his office. That means….she must have fed my brother. Wow how cute…" She said making everyone look at me. I opened and closed my mouth not knowing what to say. 

I only said few things but this girl already found out that I fed Dev.

I slapped myself mentally. I closed my face with my both palms to hid my red blushing face.

"Hey Anu is right look how she i blushing" Riya said trying to remove my palms. I looked at her with my  pleading eyes to stop her teasing.

"Do you know one thing? I even witnessed bhabi feeding Dev Bhai in his cabin even before they were together as a couples. That time my Bhai even shouted at me for entering in his cabin without even knocking it. And don't even ask about Aasha bhabhi at that time. She was blushing red just like now" Anu said while giggling. 

My sweet sister-in-law totally crushed my face in front of my friends…..I face palmed myself mentally. 

"Is that true? I thought my Aasha is innocent. But now she is not…." Neha yelled dramatically.

"It's not like that….it's not like that" i said feeling embarassed.

"Awwww look how our Aasha's face has turned like an red apple. If we take her picture and send it to Dev then I am sure tonight he will eat her as his dinner" Zarah said making me blush hard.

"Please na yaar.. stop teasing me you all now" i said in my pleading voice.

"Awww how cute she is" Riya said pinching my both cheeks. I slapped her hand and everyone laughed together making me cover my face with my both hands.

"Hey Aasha, I wanted to ask you one important thing" Neha said in all serious tone after teasing me for hours. I frowned looking at her serious expression. She cleared her throat.

"Did you enjoy it?" She asked me with her mischievous grin.

"Huh? What did i enjoy?" I asked her with a frown. 

"What I mean is….how your FN went?" she asked me making me feel more confused.

"What she means is…how was your first experience?" Zarah asked with her red face.

"Why you all guys are confusing her? Ask her directly. Aasha, are you still vergin?" Riya asked me making me gasped at her. I blushed at her direct question. I felt my face go very hot. 

This girls....are they trying to sk me this question by this all the time? How can they? Ahhh! 

"You…yo.." i struggled at what to say. I blushed hard looking down.

"Aasha, tell us. Don't blush like this" Neha asked me again. I galred at her.

"Her blushing face says all. Looks like her first time was blissful" Riya said in her dreamy look.

"Nothing happened" i said while gritting my teeth to stop blushing like a fool.

"Whaaaaat?" Riya, Neha and Anu yelled together except Zarah and Shreya. I looked down biting my lips.

"Are you still virgin even after your marriage? What a pity?" Riya said in a sympathetic tone.

"When you used the words like 'initiation' 'leaving all your shyness' i thought you must have taken initiation in that matter too. But look at you. Whats the use of reading all romantic books when you can't even use them in your real life? You're the same my innocent Aasha" Neha said making me feel more embarassed.

I just want this eart to swallow me now. Why today they all hell bent on teasing me? I shouldn't have come here in the first
