Aasha's Pov

"First stop crying and drink this water, Aashu" he said softly. I would have felt better if he had yelled at me. But the way he softly behaving towards me even after knowing everything is what makkng me feel more bad. I didn't moved my gaze away from my lap. My vision blurred beacuse of my tears. He sighed and kept the glass near the bed side table. Then he hugged me tightly. Thats when i realized that my body is trembling. 

"Stop crying, Aashu. Tell me why you're crying, ha?" he asked me while stroking my hair gently. When i didn't said anything, he pulled me from the hug. He wiped my tears but fresh tears fell from my eyes again. I still didn't looked into his eyes. 

"Why you're not looking into my eyes? Look into my eyes" he demanded me in his cold voice. I slowly looked into his eyes.

"I really didn't sold our project details. I swear" i said, looking into his eyes. More tears fell from my eys, making my vision blurry. 

"I never said that you're the one who sold the details, did i?" he asked me in his stern voice. I shook my head in 'No'. 

"Then why are you crying now? I know about my Aashu. My Aashu will never do something like this. So you don't have to worry about this. I will solve this problem, okay? Just trust me. I will take care of this matter. I will prove everyone that my Aashu is innocent. I will handle this matter. You just don't worry about this all. I am with you, Okay?" he said while cupping my face.

I looked at him with my teary eyes. He believes me even in this big situation. He worked day and night for this project. I lost his hard work. He didn't blame me but instead he is saying that he will solve this problem. He is supporting me even in this situation.

I am very sure everyone will definitely think that i am the one who sold the project details. Because Me, Mr. Malhotra, Mr. Mehra, Ms. Josh and some of our important people who worked for this company from Mr. Malhotra's father's period only know about this project details.

I am the only one new here. So of course they all will think as same as Ms. Josh. If he lost this project, then he have to answer in the board meeting. Its all because of me. All because of me. I sobbed thinking about the worst that will happen if we lost this deal. 

"Aahsa, please said stop crying" he said in his soft voice. 

"You still trusting me, why? I am the reason for all this. I… I should have been more careful. Because of me you're going to loss this project" i said while burying my face in my palms. 

"Stop saying it all happened because of you, okay? And i will trust you even if the whole world stand against you" he said while hugging me. I looked at him. His eyes held honest and sincerity. Then he wiped again my tears and kissed my forehead.  

"Now drink this water" saying this he gave me a glass of water. I gulped the full glass of water and gave him the empty glass. He cupped my face. 

"Are you alright?" he asked me with a smile. I nodded my head in 'Yes'. 

Dev Malhota's Pov

I hugged her tightly close to my heart. But still her body is trembling. I patted her back to make her relax. She too hugged me tightly like her life depends on me. I kissed the crown of her head with a smile. We all worked very hard for this project. I know very well Aasha didn't do anything. She said that she kept the pendrive in her cabin drawer. There is no chance for the pendrive to go missing unless someone else steals it.

"Aasha, did any one entered in your cabin?" i asked her softly. She pulled away from my hug and looked at me with her innocent eyes. 

"No. I was the only one who was in my cabin" she said. Her face is fully red. 

"Think deeply and take your time" i said while taking her hand in mine.

"I was in my cabin whole day. But i went to cafeteria for lunch along with Shreya. I locked my cabin. But…yes i locked the cabin" she said with her wide eyes.

"What happened, Aashu?" i asked her. 

"When i went to cafeteria, i locked my cabin door. After having lunch, i returned to my floor. But when i reached my cabin, i saw Tej from Finance department, standing near my cabin. He said that he kept some files on my desk as it required your signature. Key for my cabin was with me in my bag only. I don't know how he opened my cabin" she said with a frown. Tej from finance department. How dare he? He will pay for what he did today to my Aasha. 

"Come with me, Aashu" saying this i dragged her to my cabin. Sameer and Nishma was already in my cabin waiting for me. I didn't looked at Nishma. The way she treated my Aashu is not settling well with me. I will deal with her later. First i have to clear my Aashu's name. 

"What about the CCTV footage, Sameer?" i asked him in my cold tone. 

"The CCTV footage opposite to Aasha's cabin was deleted by someone else. But our security team recovered the footage. Tej Patel from finance department was the only one who entered in Aasha's cabin. Otherwise no one entered in her cabin except Tej. There is no cctv camera in Aasha's cabin. So we don't no what he did inside. But yes, he looked quiet nervous when he came out from the cabin" Sameer said while i watched the CCTV footage on Sameer's phone. In that video that Tej looked nervous and also he was extremely scared when he saw Aasha. So he is the one.

"And his mother had an accident two days before. Now she is in hospital in critical condition. His family is in need of money" Smaeer said.

"What are you waiting for? I want that bastard immediately in my cabin" i roared at him. 

"Its 8 pm. He already went home, Dev" Sameer said increasing my anger. 

" I don't care. I want him immediately in my cabin. You have fifteen minutes. Bring him to me. Because of him Aasha is in this situation. Everyone is blaming her" i said while glaring at Nishma. 

"I want him now" i yelled at him. 

"We are not sure about that the boy really stole the pen drive or not. We should not waste our time. Don't try to protect her just because you have a soft corner for her. She is the one who sold our hard work, Dev" Nishma said while glaring at Aasha. I went near her. 

" If you utter even a single word against Aasha, i promise, you will regret of uttering those words. Just my one call, your dad's company will go bankrupt" i said while clenching my jaw. Nishma is really going to face my wrath.  

"You won't do that" she said with a shocked look. 

"Try me" i said with a smirk. 

"Are you threatening me, Dev? For that girl?" she asked me. 

"Yes. And once i prove that Aasha is innocent then you have to apologize to her" i said.

"I won't apologize to her. I am damn sure that she is the one at fault" she said confidently.

"Lets see" i said.

"Sir, its not important now. We have a very less time to prepare the project presentation" Aashu said with a worried face. Here this Nishma is accusing her. But all she care about is this fucking presentation. I went near her while looking into her eyes. She looks very fragile.

"Clearing your name is more important to me than that damn presentation, you got it" i said in my cold tone. 

"Thats not important now. Even if we bring Tej here, we can't be sure that he had leaked the project presentation or not. So we have to call everyone for the meeting to prepare a new presentation. But still we have a very less time. So you now just try to postpone the meeting to afternoon. If we loss this deal, then you have to answer to the board of directors. I don't want you to face that situation because of me. Please, sir" she said with her teary swollen eyes. Even in this situation, she is thinking about me instead of her. How should i explain to her that no one has the guts to question me. My one glare is enough to shut that board of directors's mouth. But she thinks that i have to answer to them, if we loss this deal. What should i do with this girl? 

"You don't want me to loss this deal?" i asked her softly while tucking a stray strand of her hair behind her ears. 

"You always won every deals. I don't want you to loss this deal just because of my carelessness that too in front of other companies. I don't want you to answer to the board of directors" she said in her sweet voice. 

"Okay, go and call everyone for the meeting and arrange the meeting hall. First go and wash your face. You also take your friends help. They also have to be in the meeting hall" i said while patting her head. She nodded at me with a smile and left the cabin.
