Dev Malhotra's Pov

"You liked it?" i asked her with a smile. But she just looked at me with a smile. Its looks like she want to say something. Soon her eyes turned glassy. Before i could ask her any question she hugged me, making my eyes go wide. I too hugged her back, caressing her head. I felt warm liquid on my neck. Then only i realised Aasha is crying. I let her cry without saying anything. I closed my eyes.

Today i wanted to spend sometime alone with her. Thats why i planned to bring her to this place where i met her for the first time. I just got little bit angry when she said that i am not your Aasha in the car. I can't tell her about my feelings for her. Its not the right time. When she moaned, i nearly lost myself. I wanted to kiss her luscious lips when i heard her moan. But i controlled myself today.

She was quiet shocked when i brought her here. I saw how longingly she watched the couples who were playing with their little daughter.

She said that she always used to play in the garden in her house when i asked her whether she visited any park with her family. I asked this question intentionally to know how she was treated in her childhood by her family.

Instead of saying that she never visited any park with her family, she said that she played in the garden of her house. The tears which slide from her the corner of her eyes which she badly tried to hide from me didn't go unnoticed by me.

When she said that she was a mature girl so she treated her wound by herself, i felt someone is squeezing my heart painfully. I am not a fool to believe her lies. She treated her wounds by herself not because she was a mature girl. But everyone in her family didn't took care of her. She said she didn't want to worry her family members. But the truth is there were no family members to worry about her.

Even though she had a family, she grew like an orphan. I felt the pain increased in my heart, when i thought that no one were there when she got hurt while playing in the garden. In that tender age she learned to treat her own wound.

She lost her mother in her tender age. So it should be her father's responsibility to take care of her, instead he left her to suffer by her own.

I brought her favorite ice cream. There was a happiness in her eyes. I have seen a lot of girls who gets so happy by seeing costly gifts. But my Aasha is feeling happy just because i brought her a simple ice cream. She found happiness in a small things. Then only i understand one thing that I don't need to bring costly gifts for my Aasha, a simple sweet gestures is enough for her to bring beautiful smile on her face.

She was licking that ice cream like a child with a cute pout on her face. I snatched her ice cream and started to enjoy the ice cream with her sweet taste. Her face was fully red when i did that. And the movement became more enjoyable with that little girl and her innocent cute questions. Aasha's expression was worth watching. She even became angry on me.

Then i brought her another ice cream. Her mouth and hands are fully ice cream. I cleaned her ice cream smuged lips, chin and hands with my hanky. I felt her whole body stiffened. She even forgot to blink her eyes. I even noticed her glassy eyes. But i pretented to not notice her stunned expression and her glassy eyes.

How much she had missed in her childhood days?

Thats the only questiona i asked to myself. Then i dragged her to the swing. I wanted to create beautiful memories for her with me. I want her to experience joyful moments in hef life with me. But when i turned to her side, she had tears in her eyes and she was zoned out. When i asked her whe she is crying, she said because something went inside her eyes.

I know she is clearly lying but i just blew in her eyes to make her believe that i didn't found out that she was crying. She got scared of the security gaurd when i asked her to sit on the swing. I controlled my chuckle when she came to stood beside me when she saw the security gaurd. But what that gaurd said about Aasha, made me think about only one thing. She always been alone in her life.

But not anymore…..

I made her sit on the swing and pushed her fastly. She first got frightened.

"Aasha, Hold tight and just enjoy. Trust me Aasha. I won't let you fall. Even if you fell, i will catch you before your body could touch the ground. So stop panicking about falling on the ground" i said with my firm voice. I mean every words. It all came from my heart. She didn't have anyone to care her in her past. But now she has me. I am here to take care of her. I want her to trust me. I want her to realise that nothing will happen to her when i am with her and i want her to believe me that i won't let anything happen to her.

And yes…..

She didn't looked frightened anymore but started to enjoy the moment while playing on the swing. A bright smile formed on her lips. She giggled whenever the wind hit her face. This is the sign that she trusts me. But when she hugged and started to cry, i felt sudden pain in my heart, thinking that my love is crying.

I came out of my thoughts when i felt her arms tightened around my neck. I heard her taking a deep breath.

"Thank you" she said in her muffled voice. I pulled her out of the hug. Her eyes is swollen and her face is fully flushed. She is looking at the floor, not meeting my gaze. I wiped her tear stained cheeks and kissed her on her forehead.

"If you can hug me like this, then i will bring you to this place more than thousand times" i said to lightened her mood. She blushed, hearing my words. Then i made her sit in the car and went towards the security gaurd.

"If she ever comes to this park alone, just call me. This is my card. And one more thing, if she ever plucked any flowers in the garden, don't say anything to her. I will pay the fine" i said with a small smile.

"You think i scold her just for plucking the flowers? No… Just to distract her from her worries. Thats why i did that. She always looks sad, sitting silently, looking at the chilren playing in the garden. She always remembers my late grand daughter who died in an accident. Then how can i scold her. If she ever comes here, i will call you" he said, keeping my card in his pocket. I nodded at him with a smile and left for my car.

Aasha's Pov

The soft melody songs filled the silent car while i am resting my head on the window with my eyes shut. The cool breeze hitting my face. My hair is fluttering in the air. I opened my eyes to push my hair strand behind my ears. Its very dark outside. Its looks like its going to rain anytime soon. I turned to look at Mr. Malhotra. He is driving with a calm face.

"Sir, i think its going to rain soon. So please drop me in my apartment" i said, fidegetting with my fingers. I am actually feeling quiet embarrassed for what i did in the park. But he looks as if nothing had happened. He looks very calm.

"Then what about the dinner? You must be hungry. I will drop you to your place after our dinner" he said, looking intently at me.

"No sir. I am not hungry" i said.

"You had lunch at 1 pm and its already 7 pm. You must have lost all your energy, roaming here and there and playing on the swing. So first lets fill your stomach then i will drop you to your apartment. Thats final" he said sternly.

I pouted hearing his words. I'm truly not hungry now. In fact he is right. I had my lunch in the office at one. So i should be feeling hungry by now. But my entire heart is swelling with happiness today, thinking whatever happened in the park. So because of my happiness i am not hungry. All i want is to sleep peacefully on my bed. I sighed.

Soon he halted the car in front of the restaurant which we usually visit. We both sat in our usual place, beside the glass door where we can see fariy lights and water fountain and far away from other tables. The waiter served our orders. I looked at his hand. Its still bandaged. I thought he will ask me to feed him the food. But be didn't said anything.

"Sir, your injury?" i asked him with a concern.

"No worries, Aasha. Its not painful anymore" he said with a smile. I nodded at him. We both soon finished our dinner and left for the parking place. Soon we got settled in the car. He started the car to drop me to my place. I looked outside the window. Then i saw a supermarket. I was planning to visit the orphanage this weekend and also there is no vegetables in our apartment. So i thought of buying some snacks for children and some colouring books.

"Sir, please, can you drop me near that departmental store? My apartment is in a walkable distance only. I will walk from there" i said looking at him.

"Why? I will drop you at your place only. Its not safe to walk alone on the road that too in the night" he said sternly.

"But i want to buy some things in the store" i said softly looking outside the window.

"Do you want to buy somethings?" he asked me softly. I nodded at him.

"Then okay. Lets go together and i will drop you to your apartment by myself" he said stopping the car near the the store.

"No sir. Its okay. I can manage" i said.

"I won't leave you alone" saying this he got out of the car. Then opened the door for me. I too came out of the car muttering a faint 'Thankyou'. Then we both went inside the store.
