I am on a ROLL today! And yes... it is admittedly because I am sick. Stupid friday night parties. *insert sigh here* Well! I haven't posted another chapter of this as of late, so today is your lucky day! Thank my friend BoookLoverrrr for persuading me to upload. May as well check out my new story, Buried Treasure, hmm? I'll love you to bits! :D Anywho, read on.

Chapter 4-

~Ainsley's POV~

I smiled and hummed to myself as I practically skipped to the principal's office once I was out of Geek's sight. He was actually turning out to be quite interesting, surprisingly. Today was turning out better than I expected. I got to watch a guy beat up my jerkface of an ex, I got to make creme brulee, I got to punch said Geek twice, and I was finally free of those darned stilettos.

My mom would've blown a fuse.

I grinned even wider. To top all of this stupendous events, I even got a fake boyfriend to solve my boy problem AND I hadn't gotten any threats or 'presents' today!

I laughed as I realized I was humming, 'Walking on Sunshine' by Katrina and the Waves. Perfect day, perfect day.

"Miss Winters," Headmaster Hargrove said sternly.

"Ainsley." I piped up, giving him a wide eyed gaze.

"Ainsley," he began again, then sighed. Yeah, wasn't easy to have my father's best friend/godfather as the head of my high school.

"Why did you punch our new student? His parents could file a lawsuit!" He said exasperatedly.

I shrugged. "He insulted me!"

"You've never punched someone before!" My godfather Simon sighed.

"Okay, tell me what happened. Don't leave anything out." he added. I scoffed. Puh-lease.

"He said something about me being grumpy, which I WASN'T. I was just irritated which is a completely different thing that being-"

"Ainsley," Simon cut me off. I frowned.

"Anyway, I denied that and he smirked and said that I must be PMSing which I'm NOT and... I punched him in the face." I said proudly.

"Sure wiped that smirk off the geek's face, though." I grinned.

"Ainsley Blythe Winters! Today, out of all days, you choose to PHYSICALLY INJURE A NEW STUDENT?" Simon's nostrils flared and it was hard not to giggle.

I wasn't backing down.

"Yes," I said simply, watching him pinch the bridge of his nose.

"You are so much like your mother it's impossible." I smiled, straightening my back at it. He most likely didn't mean that as a compliment but I took it as one.

"Tomorrow afternoon, detention. Two to seven. Got it?" I nodded.

I went to check on Landon and saw that three teachers were dragging him to the nurse's. I grinned, knowing I was eternally condemned.

*Two hours later*

Wait for it....

I had retrieved my sucky heels and slipped them back on, trying not to flinch as they pressed against my blisters.

"AINSLEY BLYTHE WINTERS, REPORT TO THE HEADMASTER'S OFFICE. NOW!" Simon's voice boomed over the intercom.

All heads swiveled toward me. I blinked and flashed a big smile.

"Adios, muchachos!" I called over my shoulder as I sped to the office. Finally, Landon would be caught. I hoped he goes to an asylum for mental issues.

Clarisse was typing away at a computer.

"He's in there. Careful," she warned me, gesturing to the door. I took a breath, my hand closing on the door's handle. Before my euporic feeling could falter, I entered the room.

"Ainsley. Take a seat." Simon's voice sounded horribly strained. I glanced at my Geek and Landon, who were both holding packs of ice to their faces.

Landon definitely looked like he had taken the worst of the beating, his face splothced with black, purple, and red. His right eye was swelled shut and his lip was busted. He also had a scratch down his chek.

My gaze went to Geek who had a faint bruise on his cheek from where I punched him earlier, and a dark purple one under his jaw.

"SIT!" Simon barked out. I quickly plonked down on the chair closest to Geek, inbetween him and Landon.

"Now. Do you know why I called you back in here?" he asked in an eerily calm voice. Uh-oh. This wasn't gonna be pretty.

Slowly, I nodded.

"Good. Perfect. Excellent. That's splendid." Simon chuckled almost manically before taking a deep breath. Landon was smirking at me and Geek was glaring at me. Probably for the punch to his side. Who knew Geek had some muscle? I looked down at my bruised knuckles as evidence, ignoring both of them.

"Now, tell me your truthful version of your side of the story before I go insane."

I took a breath and Landon interrupted.

"Sir, is that really necess-"

"QUIET!" Simon exploded. Landon flinched and I bit my lip to keep from laughing. Good. Who's feeling guilty now? HA!

"As. I. Was. About. To. Say," I purposely aimed the harsh, cold voiced words to Landon. He glared at me with venomous hate. I needed to give him a lesson on how to glare.

"I punched Gee- Mr. Peters, and Ms. Witherston made me take him to the nurse's before coming here but," I paused, giving Landon a glare so filled with hatred his eyes nearly popped out of his thick skull and he froze.

"- Landon, along with his buddies, decided to harass us. He told his buddies to pin our new student against the lockers and he pushed me. Gee- Mr. Peters didn't like that and he told him not to touch me like that. Landon pushed me again and I fell and he asked Mr. Peters, 'like that?'. Obviously, that's not way to-"

"I DIDN'T TOUCH YOU!" Landon cried out, completely lying.

"BE QUIET!" Simon yelled.

"Yeah, shut up asswipe." I muttered. Geek smiled and I winked at him as Simon turned purple.

"AINSLEY! APOLOGIZE!"

"Hell no! He PUSHED me and I FELL! And THEN-" I jumped up, furious.

"-he goes to punch Mr. Peters who was INNOCENT... so I threw my shoe at his head!"

"Freaky bitch has anger management issues," Landon snickered. I almost lunged at him but I counted to three and settled for yelling.

"SHUT UP DIPSHIT!"

"AINSLEY BLYTHE WINTERS!" Simon roared. I glared daggers at Landon.

"So then he turned to me and orders his brainless henchmen to beat up Gee- Mr. Peters so, like any girl woul, I chucked my other heel at him,-" Simon sighed frustratedly.

"-and he started chasing me, so I ran. I'm not stupid, I knew he was pissed-"

"Language, young lady!" Simon warned, but I continued.

"-and so I ran too and somehow, I'm not sure how exactly though, Mr. Peters caught up with us and I was going to slam the door in Landon's face but he caught hold of m shirt and threw me at the lockers, about to pound my beautiful face in-" Geek rolled his eyes, smiling and I almost smiled back.

"when Gee- Mr. Peters tackled him and punched him until he was unconscious like any reasonable person would. And should!" I quipped. Simon massaged his creased forehead.

"Mr. Hannen, is this true?"

"NO!" Landon lied. "This crazy chick tried to jump me and that nerd got jealous and attacked me! I can't even play ootball the rest of the month!" Simon ignored him and turned to the guy-who-saved-me-but-whose-first-name-I-am-not-informed-of-who's-posing-as-my-boyfriend. GWSMBWFNIANIOWPAMB. Geek for short.

"Is her story true?"

"Yes, sir. Landon is lying. I wouldnt've attacked him had he not pushed her, chased her, and thrown her against lockers. I'm not a fighter, usually." Geek said honestly. Huh. Very persuasive.

"Landon, you are suspended until further notice. Please go clear out your locker, I am notifying your parents." Simon dismissed him.

"But-"

"MR. HANNEN! OUT!" Simon barked. Landon left like a puppy with its tail between its legs.

"As for you two, don't think you're not without punishment." Simon turned to us.

I smiled.

*Yeppers! So... you like? Anyone like Ainsley? Hate her? What about Gee- Mr. Peters? Landon? Simon? Tell me :)
