Kieran and Ciara reached Paddy in 10-minutes and once again, Kieran didn't want to get out of the car. Ciara looked at her colleague and didn't know what to think anymore. "I really don't want to go in", Kieran said, "I don't want to see any more dead bodies". Ciara put her hand on his shoulder and tried to console him. "I don't want to either but this is what we signed up for, unfortunately". Kieran took a deep breath and opened the door, but didn't get out. "If I was to do my life over again", he began, "I would have never become a detective". They got out of the car, Kieran locked it and they ventured into Paddy's building. Ciara followed Kieran and they found Paddy who looked very pale. Neither of them wanted to hear any more grizzly details. 

"Everything alright?", Kieran asked, not liking that Paddy looked done. "This one wasn't nice", he said, "None of them is nice but this one was extremely hard". Ciara looked at Kieran as he pinched the bridge of his nose, preparing himself. "So, I found an ID", Paddy began, grabbing a plastic ziplock bag. "Where was it?", Ciara asked, curious but also not wanting to know. Paddy took a deep breath and lifted the cloth upon the body. "The killer made a hole in her stomach, shoved it in there and he stitched it up", he said, "That is fucking grim. What the fuck like". Kieran felt his stomach go funny when Paddy said that. "This was done posthumously", Paddy continued, "The cause of death was strangulation. The victim is Valerie Connors. 17-years-old". Kieran and Ciara felt sick when Paddy finished. "Jesus, it's never going to end", Kieran said, "I need to find something". Paddy wiped his eyes and covered Valerie's body. "I know ye can do it", Paddy said. "When you find the killer. Hang the bastard".
