I am watching Jason prepare my dinner. His parents went out to dinner like they did every Sunday. Jason's parents left him alone most of the time to do whatever he wanted to do. His father is a successful psychiatrist and has his own private practice down town. Jason's mom helps his father and acts as a secretary sometimes.

"I'm telling you, boo, that this meal is going to make you want to marry me." He says in excitement.

I laugh, shaking my head. "You knowing how to cook one meal is not good enough for me to say yes."

He turns around and smiles at me, knowingly. He puts the food in the oven. "I think it is. You will see. I told you I have perfected my mom's dish." He sets the timer on the oven and then sits down at the table across from me.

I remember when moments like this weren't so awkward, but it seems every other day he is coming up with ways to make me feel uncomfortable. I am determined not to let him get the best of me tonight.

"We will see the final result when it comes out the oven." I smile at him as he nods.

"So are you and Aaron still talking?"

I could have been wrong, but I think I heard amusement in his voice. "Actually, yes. We spoke yesterday, and he's going to take me to Terrance's house party. I guess all is forgiven."

I see the look on his face change. Score one for me. "He forgives you for just leaving him there?"

"Yes."

He looks confused as I try my hardest not to smile. "Do you like him?"

"Maybe."

"What do you like about him?"

I am getting a little tired of his interrogation methods. "What do you like about Leslie?"

He smiles at me. "You don't know what you like about him, right?"

"Not yet, but after Terrance's party, I will tell you exactly what I like about him."

"Usually you and I go to house parties together."

I look down at the table. "I know, but you will be there with Leslie." I look back into his eyes. "And I will be there with Aaron."

He nods. "Well, here's some advice, don't kiss him."

"Why?" What type of advice is this?

"I'm just saying that . . . I mean, as far as I know, you haven't had your first kiss yet, and it shouldn't be with someone you've just met."

"What?" I practically laugh at his logic, but the seriousness in his tone is enough for me not to crack a smile.

"It should be with someone you know." He says, like it's a written law somewhere.

I just look at him blankly. "You're the only guy I know well enough to kiss." I nervously maintain eye contact with him, awaiting the next thing to come out of his mouth.

He just looks at me. I'm not going to say another word about it. I want him to say something. He laughs. "Yeah, and I'm with Leslie." He stands up and walks out the kitchen.

I wonder if God is secretly enjoying my life when it comes to dealing with Jason. I can't read him for shit. I sit back in my chair and decide to just give up. This asshole had to know he is the only boy I am this close to. He isn't that damn dumb. Some things I can put pass him, but some things I can't. I lay my head on the table and look at the timer. I had thirty minutes left. I'm just going to eat my food and go home.

He walks back into the kitchen, smiling and looking looking sneaky. I sit up in my seat wondering what he is up to.

I roll my eyes. Here we go. "What's so funny?"

"You have those hot pink boy shorts on." He leans against the counter as I jump up and pull my jeans up. I try to pull my shirt down some. He shakes his head laughing as though someone told a funny joke.

"Stop laughing!"

I grab a towel and try to hit him with it. He pulls me closer to him, and I drop the towel on the floor. I look at him, and he looks at me.

He starts to smile with evil written all over his face. "Pick it up."

I look at him and shake my head.

"I already saw them, Melly baby."

I look at the towel on the floor and then my eyes travel from his shoes up to his legs. My gaze slowly goes from his abs all the way to his face. Damn him for looking sexy in just simple gray sweats and a black tank top. When I get to his eyes, he is looking intensely into mine. Somehow all this feels wrong. I reach down to pick up the towel. I feel my shirt rising. I just know that the color of my panties are showing again. I stand up and hand him the towel. He takes the towel from me and throws it on the counter. There is so much tension between us in his kitchen. He grabs me by my belt buckle to bring me closer to him.

"I should be the one to give you your first kiss. You know that, right?"

Of course I know that! This still doesn't mean I am prepared to hear him say that. "What . . . what? You have . . ." Damn, what the hell is that girl name he is dating? Leslie. Her damn name is Leslie. "Leslie. You have Leslie."

"I didn't say I am going to kiss you." He sighs, letting go of my belt. "I said I should be the one to give you your first kiss."

"Oh." The sadness is very evident in my voice.

I wonder if I just ruined my first kiss moment. He goes over to the stove and checks the lasagna. He closes the oven. Maybe Jason does have feelings for me, and he also doesn't know how to tell me. Maybe he also doesn't want to ruin our friendship over a possibility. I want to ask him so badly. Damn, I am stupid at times when it comes to Jason. I can't read anything.

He walks back over to me and grabs me by my belt. He pulls me closer to him. He licks his lips, and I swallow hard as I feel his hands on my stomach. Damn me for wearing a short t-shirt. I start laughing. I can't help it. I am so ticklish.

"Mel, really?" He frowns up a little.

I laugh and put my hands over his. He is still holding me by my belt.

"What? Were you going to kiss me?" I ask it in a joking manner, but I really want to know. I mean, if he is going to kiss me, I wish it will be done already. He has my nervous system a wreck! It's true. I've never kissed anyone before. I will want Jason to be my first.

"Want me to?"

"You want to?"

He just looks at me.

"I . . . I want . . ." I take a deep breath trying to get it out. How does he has this affect on me? "Be my . . . my first." I shyly look up at him. My heart is racing.

He pulls me closer to him. He smiles at me as he leans in closer. "I want to be your first." I know he can sense my nervous feelings. He puts my arms around his neck. "First kiss, no tongue."

I nod as he softly kisses my lips. His lips are much softer than I imagined.

He smiles at me. "Now this time, I'm going to lick your lips just a little bit. Still no tongue, okay?"

I feel like I am in a trance. I close my eyes, and again I feel his lips on mine. I feel his tongue lightly going across my lips. Damn. When he pulls away, I take a deep breath keeping my eyes closed.

He moves my hair out of my face. I feel his lips against mine for the third time. This time he parts my lips with his tongue putting his tongue inside my mouth. He holds my body closer to him. I grab his tank with my hands wanting to be close as possible to him. He starts sucking on my tongue, and a soft moan escapes my lips. He gently bites my lower lip, before breaking our kiss. I keep my eyes closed knowing my panties are soaked by now.

I feel his fingers gently caressing my face. I lick my lips as I feel his fingers on my face. He cups my face in his hand, and he presses his lips against mine again. I stand on my toes, and he puts his free arm around my body. I put my arms back around his neck again as our kiss deepens. His tongue tastes so sweet in my mouth. I pull away to catch my breath. I look at him shyly not believing what is going on between us. He just stares back at me lustfully.

He grabs my hands pulling me back to him. I blush and smile a little stepping between his legs. He just keeps his eyes on me biting his bottom lip. I make the first move and hungrily kiss his lips again. I simply can't get enough of Jason. He puts both arms around my body, and I have never felt as intoxicated as I feel at this moment. He gently bites my bottom lip. He kisses my lips again. The bell on the stove breaks our kiss.

He looks at me and smiles. "Dinner is ready."

I nod. "I have to . . . um . . . " I point out the kitchen, trying to find my words. "I'm going to the bathroom."

I hurry out the kitchen, before he can say anything. I run in the bathroom and close the door. I pinch myself hard. "Ouch!"

Oh my god! Jason just gave me my first real kiss. OMG! I wash my face trying to figure out how I am going to get pass him. Does this mean that he really did have feelings for me? I dry my face off and try to calm down. I pinch myself in the other arm harder. "Ouch!" Okay, this is real.

I sit down on the toilet and debate whether or not to leave. This is some serious mess that's going on for a lasagna dinner.

I pull out my phone and text Kerri quickly.

Jason n I kissed several times!!!!

Before I can put my phone away, it starts to ring. I hurry and answer it, knowing that it's Kerri calling for details.

"Yes, girl, several."

"Details!"

"I can't. I will call you as soon as I escape."

She laughs at me. "Girl, you better go get your man. I told you that Jay boo likes your ass!"

"Okay, bye."

I hang up the phone to her laughter. I take a couple more deep breaths and put some lip gloss on. I open the bathroom door and walk back to the kitchen. Jason already had made our plates. I sit down shyly looking at him as he places the plate in front of me. He leans over me as he scoops some onto a fork and blows on it.

"Taste it."

I open my mouth, and he feeds me. I chew quietly as he looks at my facial expression.

He leans down and kisses my lips softly. "You had some on your lips."

He walks away with my eyes following him. He sits down across the table and starts to eat his food. He smiles at me. "What do you think, babe?"

I smile at him. "Delicious. I guess you did perfect it."

He winks. "Along with other things."

I know. His kisses are too sweet, but I'm not going tell him that. Looking at him look at me, I figured he already knows he's a good kisser.

*****

I get out the car nervously looking at Jason. He winks at me, and I blush.

"Thanks for dinner, Jay baby."

"No, thank you, Mel."

I close the door and wave bye to him. I have a big grin on my face as I make my way to my front door. I turn around to see if Jason is still parked outside my house. He is. I wave again and go inside my house. I close the door, leaning against it. I just can't wipe this smile off my face for the life of me! I flop down on the couch and pull my phone out. I just can't believe that he and I kissed tonight. I hurry and dial Kerri's number.

Kerri picks up on the first ring. "Oh, girl, I was getting so impatient over here! I want every single detail!"

I giggle at my friend being nosey. "Okay, so we were in the kitchen with him cooking for me. He was questioning me about Aaron, wanting to know if he was taking me to your boy's party."

"Listen, I know you think we have all night to talk, but I really want you to skip all that foreplay and jump right into the nitty gritty. I meant details on the nitty gritty!"

I shake my head and roll my eyes. Only Kerri. "Okay, so he pulled me towards him by my belt, telling me that he should be the one to give me my first kiss. I honestly couldn't tell if he was playing, or being serious. Anyway, after I confessed to him that I wanted him to be my first, that's when it happened." I close my eyes, feeling a sense of giddiness come over me

"With tongue?"

"Girl, yes. The boy got my panties wet."

We both scream from the excitement of Jason giving me my first real kiss.

"I told you that he liked you, Mel! Aww . . . my friends might become boyfriend and girlfriend. You two are so cute together. I honestly don't know how you two never hooked up."

I barely listen to Kerri's babble as I think about him holding me and giving me sweet kisses.

"I'm so happy for you and Jason."

"Kerri, don't jump to conclusions, because you know that this might not mean anything."

Kerri sighs in aggravation. "Mel, has Jason ever cheated on a girl he was with?"

"No, but so what?"

"Well, then you should know, of all people, that Jason doesn't play games like that. You know he likes you, and so does a dozen of other people." She chuckles softly, "And so does his girl. The question is what are you going to do about that like?"

My phone beeps, and I see I have a message. "Kerri, I think Jason just sent me a text."

"Alright, lady, I will give you and him some privacy. See, he does like you. You just spent practically all day with him, and now he's texting you."

"That doesn't mean anything, Ker Ker. You know Jason and I always spend a lot time together."

"Text it up with your boy, lady. You know exactly what I mean."

I end the call with Kerri and open up my message from Jason barely able to contain my excitement.

Crazy, but I think I miss u.

I have a silly grin on my face as I begin to text him back.

U just pulled off.

Thats the crazy part. U think I want to miss u? ๐Ÿ˜€

I do think.

What u doin?

Textin u. Ha ha.

Lol. U think u so funny.

I do think.

U should let me come over there for a lil bit, so I wont miss u so much.

U never had to ask before

Who says Im askin? Im outside.

I set my phone on the coffee table and jump up. I do a little dance to get the excitement out of my system. He's outside, wanting to spend more time with me. I take a deep breath and open my front door, trying to hide my smile with no success. Jason is standing on my doorstep. He walks inside my house, and I close the door checking him out from behind.

"You want to catch a late movie, Jay?"

He nods as we sit on the couch. He puts his arm around my shoulders as I hand him the remote control.

"Hey, Mel, why do you always make me in charge of picking a movie?"

"Because you pick the best movies out, Jay."

"I do, don't I?"

I watch as he flips through the channels to find something for us to watch. I rest my head on his chest and play with the round buttons on his shirt. Jason finally finds a movie and sets the remote control on the coffee table. He lays down on the couch and pulls my body on top of his.

My heart races as I lay on top of him. He rubs my back as we both stare at the television. I can smell his cologne, and all I want to do is kiss his lips again. And again. I wrap my arms around him and sneak a look at his face. I just can't get enough of this man. He looks down at me and winks. I instantly do it right back and feel my heart beating faster.

*****

Kerri and I are studying in my room as I give her details about Jason kissing me.

She grabs some popcorn and chews shaking her head. "You guys are getting hot and heavy. Just wait until you show up at that party with Aaron."

"Yeah, Ker . . . I'm having second thoughts about that. I just don't . . ." I look at her as she raises her eyebrows in question. "Never mind."

"Yeah, you better never mind it. Anyway, I did it with Terrance."

My mouth drops opened as she starts to blush and nods her head. "Yes, we did it."

"Kerri, how does it feel?"

She laughs at me and closes her book, getting ready to give me details. "Okay, so I've been holding on to my virginity all this time, because I was scared. I mean, Terrance is nice." She giggles, giving me a look. "Nice, girl. Well, when I got over my fear . . . " She pauses with a silly grin on her face. "I'm addicted. He did things with his mouth . . ."

We both start giggling as my door opens, and Jason walks in smiling.

"Hey, Jay." We both say in unison.

"Hey, ladies. What's going on here? Why no one called me for the girl talk?"

"Aww . . . Jay boo boo feels left out?" I smile as Kerri teases him. He throws a handful of popcorn at her and sits next to me on the bed.

"What we're talking about?"

"Um . . . nothing much." I don't want to bring the awkward subject of sex up to him.

"We're talking about sex, and me losing my virginity to Terrance." Kerri says, not bothering to be discreet.

I shoot Kerri a look for her bluntness.

Jason just looks at Kerri in disbelief. "You lying, man. You let Terrance hit it for real?"

Kerri nods. "Yeah, it was the night you and Melly went to the show."

Jason and I give Kerri a look, and she laughs at us.

"Okay, I did cancelled, but it wasn't because I planned to be with him. That happened out of nowhere. We had stopped by his cousin's house to pick up the mail, and feed her cats. Next thing you know, we're on the couch making out."

"Couch?" Jason looks at her. "Your first time was on a couch?"

"Okay, well tell us about your first time, Jason." Kerri gives him a look.

He looks at me and shakes his head. "Naw, Ker. I'm just saying that it should have at least been on a bed, so he could take his time to make love to you." Jason sneaks a look at me, and I begin to feel nervous about the whole conversation.

"Have you ever put your face in it?"

My mouth drops opened at Kerri's question. "Kerri!"

She waves her hand at me as Jason laughs. "What? We're all friends here. He wants to comment on my first time, so I'm asking questions. Have you ever put your face in it?"

"That's inappropriate, Kerri." I narrow my eyes at her.

She rolls her eyes at me. "You know you want to know if he puts his face in it."

Please make her stop saying put your face in it. I look at the ceiling silently praying to God.

Jason looks at me as my cheeks burned. "Yeah, I have. My favorite."

I hate when Kerri acts like she doesn't have any sense.

Kerri smiles at me. "His favorite."

She's such a perv. I wish I had a gun to shoot her. Luckily, she grabs her bag and books getting off my bed. "Well, my two besties, I'm about to go and get Jason's favorite done to me." She walks out my room, but not without winking at me first.

Jason looks at me, "Whose idea was it to be friends with her?"

"Yours. I mean, you're the one who introduced me to her."

"Oh, I'm sorry."

We share a laugh as he cuts the television on and lays on my bed. I lay next to him glad that Kerri is gone. That girl sometimes didn't care what came out her mouth. She knows what she is saying half the time, but she doesn't care. I just wish she cared a little more when we are around Jason.
