Malcolm parked in his driveway and looked over at you. It was still raining outside but that wasn't what he was looking at. He was looking at your sleeping form. You were leaning against the window with your eyes closed and your lips were divided. It took all it had in Malcolm to not lean over and kiss you.

He turned his gaze apart from you and looked outside at the storm. It had calmed down a little but he could still see his hanging baskets being pushed by the wind. He sighed and got out of the car. The rain had stopped, only for a little bit of time. Enough time for Malcolm to grab you and your bag to get inside.

' Goodness. It just started raining again. Geez, the rain isn't going to give up until morning. '

Malcolm carried you up the stairs and to his room. He had a guest room but he decided to put you in his bed. He set you under the covers and set your bag to the side of the bed. He had the same temptation that he had in the car. He had the greatest temptation to kiss your soft plush lips.

I got closer to the bed and leaned down to your body on the bed. He gently caressed your soft cheeks and leaned closer to your face. He could feel your breath as it left your parted lips like a whisper. He turned his head to the side and, as softly as he could, kissed your cheek. He leaned back from you and stood up straight.

' That will satisfy me for now. '

He started walking out of the room when he stopped. He spotted his black polaroid camera sitting on his desk. He picked it up and skimmed around the camera, inspecting it. He looked back at you sleeping peacefully under the soft cloud covers of the bed. He walked over to the bed and looked at your form once more before raising the polaroid camera to his eye.

   ' Surely one couldn't hurt. '

After Malcolm finished with his camera he walked out of the room and shut the door behind himself. He walked downstairs to the living room and sat on his couch. He leaned on the cushions and daydreamed about you. He fell asleep on the couch and dreamed of the future you two would have together. His obsession kept growing and growing, never stopping.

The night was long and the storm died down leaving the city in peace. The storm clouds walked away from the city and the moon shone its light through the city. Acting like the sun the light beams from the moon bounced around the many skyscrapers and houses in Sherwood. Everything was peaceful, calming, and the winds became gentle. The hours passed by quickly and the sun climbed the sky as the moon disappeared.

Malcolm awoke early in the morning, at five. He stood up from the couch and stretched his arms and legs. His arms popped as he bent his arms, he pushed on his back and popped his back. He felt his body relax and settle down into his normal standing position. He walked to the kitchen and leaned on the counter.

' I think I'm going to make some waffles. Y/n will wake up soon, so I better start cooking. '

As he thought his you were upstairs having your own awakening. You opened your eyes and rubbed them. You felt the drowsiness leave you as you continued to rub it out of your eyes. When you put your hands down you looked around the room and realized you weren't in your usual room. Memories of the day before hit you and you realized you were in Malcolm's house.

' I better get up. I'll have to thank him for letting me sleep on his bed. '

You stood up and walked out of his room and down the stairs to the first floor. When you reached the last step you turned the corner and saw Malcolm standing in the kitchen. He looked to be mixing something in a bowl. He had on a black apron and seemed to be very focused on mixing whatever was in the bowl. You approached the male slowly.

   " Good morning, Malcolm. "

" Good morning. I didn't know you were awake. "

" I just arose. Thank you for letting me stay over and sleep on your bed. "

" It was nothing. I didn't mind at all, I'm glad I could help you out. If you wish I can drive to your place and grab some clothes and anything you need. I'll bring everything back here for you to get set for work. "

" I can do that myself. If you don't mind you can just take me home and I'll leave from there to work. "

" Are you not worried about the intruder? "

" What do you mean? Are you saying the invader could have put cameras in my house?"

   " Yes, that's exactly what I am saying. "

Malcolm pulled out his waffle maker and plugged it into the wall. As soon as the pan got hot he sprayed it with some nonstick spray and poured the batter on the hot surface. He shut the waffle maker and waited for the first waffle to get done. Malcolm walked to the fridge and pulled out the butter as well as some syrup. He set it on the counter and turned his attention back to you.

" Let me go grab your stuff. I don't mind. "

" It's fine, Malcolm. I want to go home and get ready for the day. I plan on going to the police station and filing a report. Don't worry about it, Malcolm. I'll tell you if anything happens when I see you later today. Remember you have an appointment with my sister? "

   " Promise? "

   " I Promise. "

Malcolm still seemed stiff about the situation. He turned back to the waffle maker and took out the first waffle. He set the steaming waffle on a plate and pushed it towards you. You accepted the plate that was becoming heated from the fresh waffle and you grabbed the butter to paint on it. After splashing syrup on it, you delved into the waffle enjoying the astonishing taste that exploded in your mouth.
