It was Monday and jungkook finally decided to come to college as he has been missing classes for almost a month now. When his friends saw him they immediately engulfed him in a group hug. He was really happy being with his friends after so long. They took their classes , had lunch during break and acted goofy with on another. They also made a hangout plan later in the week. He came home with a huge smile on his face.

He helped Miri in preparing dinner and they were waiting for yoongi to arrive so they all can have dinner. Yoongi had passed his trial period and the company officials were really satisfied with his performance. He was appointed as their financial analyst and his salary was really impressive everyone was really happy with his job.

Taehyung and jungkook couldn't meet again after that day because taehyung has been really busy with the case. It's been 3 days since their dinner. They still will converse on call for hours before going to bed. Tonight was the same. After having dinner , they watched a sitcom on television. Both told miri how their day went by. Now jungkook was lying on his bed and was talking with Taehyung. His heart fluttering whenever taehyung will call him by nicknames.

"Is Jackson hyung still outside my house?" jungkook asked. He was really grateful to him. He even wanted to thank him in person and taehyung gave him his contact number. Jungkook thanked him for looking after him. And Jackson told him that he was really enjoying taking care of him and that he is such a sweet kid. Jungkook blushed at his praises and told taehyung about it. Well now taehyung was thinking of hiring another guard for jungkook or much better he can himself guard him.

But he left the idea aside because no matter what Jackson was reliable and brave.

"No it's 12 AM he left and will come in the morning" taehyung told him.

Jungkook was telling him what they had in dinner when loud honking was heard outside of their house.

"Is something wrong jungkook?" Taehyung asked him hearing noises coming from other side of the line.

"I don't know hyung" jungkook replied confusedly. On the other hand the noises only increased in return.

"Jungkook lock your door right now" taehyung shouted.

"But why"

"Just do as I say, I'm on my way" taehyung told him he was already in car.

Not too long after he heard noises of men and their steps outside of their house.

"Mom" jungkook shouted

"Jungkook don't go anywhere just hide in your room" taehyung yelled but jungkook ignored his call and was already out of his room his mobile long forgotten on the bed.

"Shit" taehyung said and sped up his car.

"Jackson where are you pick up the call" taehyung shouted at his phone.

The front door was opened forcefully and 12 men in black dresses came inside the house, loaded with guns. Jungkook and yoongi were present in Miri's rooms. Although the door was locked but it was useless. They already broke in the main door and they can easily come in the room too. Everyone was scared while Miri was panicking. They shouldn't have came back to their home. The situation was vulnerable and now they were in danger.

"Jungkook run from here" miri told him and at the same time they heard a loud thud coming from the door. They were aware of them being in this room.

" What are you saying mom I can't leave you"

"Don't be stupid and listen to me, run from here and go to Taehyung " she said pushing him towards the window, while yoongi was pushing the wardrobe in front of the door.

" Please come with me mom I'm scared" jungkook said tears welling up in his.

"They are after you. We will be safe just go now" miri said and the door was opened and the small wardrobe fell on the ground jungkook was already out and they immediately closed the window behind him.

The house was surrounded by many men but luckily it was dark so he wasn't visible yet. He was panicking and just wanted to go back to yoongi and miri. He turned to go back inside but he was held strongly from his back and a hand covering his mouth. He thrashed around to get free but the hold was strong.

"Jungkook relax it's me" jackson whispered and he relaxed in his hold.

"Let's go from here" he told him dragging him from there.

"But mom and hyung are in there" he said crying.

"Don't worry they will be safe" he told him and hid him behind the small plants , it wasn't covering them but darkness aided in hiding them.

"What are we gonna do now" jungkook whispered.

"We are waiting for taehyung"

"Ohhh no" jungkook remembered taehyung was on call when he heard noises and he already knew about everything.

"How did you know about it"

"I was on my way back but i saw a lot of cars coming in the direction of this neighborhood and I know nobody here is rich enough to have so many cars, so i decided to check on you before leaving." jackson informed him.

"Jungkook move, taehyung is here"

"But what about my family"

"They will be safe don't worry cops are already on their way."

Jackson somehow took him to the other side of the street. They had to jump from the porch of one of the neighbors.

And finally jungkook was near taehyung's car. He got inside the car and Jackson ran back to assist yoongi and Miri.

Taehyung started the car without saying anything.

"No stop we can't leave them alone" jungkook said.

"They are safe"

"Everyone keep telling me that. How the hell are they safe when they are still inside with dozens of men with guns" jungkook shouted.

Taehyung didn't replied and jungkook became mad.

"Stop the car. I'm not going with you. Open the door" he said struggling to open the door but it was locked.

"Kim Taehyung stop it " he yelled with tears in his eyes.

"Just Shut Up" taehyung sneered at him and he flinched at the outburst. He wasn't used to taehyung being mad at him. It was always him yelling.

"And if you said one more word I'll fucking do something wrong" taehyung said madly and jungkook shrank into himself not knowing what to do to get rid of the fear he had in his heart.

"Where is that boy" one of the men asked.

"Who are you talking about" yoongi said hiding miri behind him.

"That jeon jungkook kid" he said pointing his gun at him. Miri tightly hugged his elder son as a shriek left her mouth.

"He is not here" yoongi replied calmly he knew this was coming somehow.

"You're lying. Tell us if you want to live" he yelled while his other men were searching whole house.

Yoongi couldn't reply as he heard police siren coming from outside and he sighed in relief.

"There are a lot of cops outside" one of the men said.

"How is that possible they never called for them" he barked.

"Leave them and run from here" one of them suggested and the one holding yoongi at gun point hit his gun at his head and ran out of the room.

Yoongi fell on the ground due to pain and miri cradled his head in her lap trying to soothe him.

Soon police reached there and helped yoongi and took him and miri to the hospital while their house was sealed for the time being. Police was successful in catching most of the goons a few somehow escaped.

Jungkook was crying whole ride and praying that his mom and brother will be safe.

Taehyung stopped in front of his penthouse. And pulled jungkook out of the car who wasn't cooperating with him. He picked him up and took him inside. There were a lot of guards surrounding the pent house and even inside.

"Leave me" jungkook was constantly yelling and thrashing and taehyung's patience was running thin.

They finally reached inside bedrooms and taehyung put him on the bed.

"How dare you. What do you think of yourself." jungkook blurted out and that was the last straw.

Taehyung pinned him to the bed.

"Just shut up. Why you wanna die so badly. I told you they are safe and i can confirm it if you won't act like a brat for a minute." taehyung said angrily and finally jungkook shut his mouth.

He left him on the bed and went out. He called jackson and he told him that yoongi got a little injured and everything else was okay. Taehyung sighed in relief. Thank God everyone was safe. He told Jackson to take them to the Kim's mansion.

He returned after sometime. Jungkook was sitting on the bed hugging his legs and crying. Although taehyung was really mad at him for not listening to him, his heart immediately softened.

"They are safe and they will go to my house now" he told him as he sat beside him. But jungkook didn't responded.

"Talk to me" taehyung said.

"I don't wanna talk to you" he replied.

"Why you're so stubborn jungkook. I'm just trying to save you." taehyung said a little annoyed.

"By risking my family? You could have saved them too" jungkook said getting louder.

"I told you to stay in your damn room but you ignored me. They would have been rescued earlier if only you were willing to listen to me for once. Jackson was already in your room when you ran outside. And he could have easily taken them out after getting you. The time he wasted in finding you could have been used in saving them."

"And how could i have stayed in my room when my family is in danger" he replied with angry red eyes.

"So you think you can save them? You can't even save yourself" taehyung sid to him.

"What do you think of yourself"

"You'll stay here and now I'll decide what to do. Because you're unable to save your life and i can't let your dumb decisions to put your life in danger"

"It's my life. I'll do whatever i want"

"No !!! It's not just your life" taehyung said and left the room. He knew the fight will only grow at this point. Both of them were angry and it won't do any good.

He was mad at himself why he even let them leave his house. Obviously they were in danger in that small house with no security. He was thinking of asking jungkook to live with him but seeing him always so hesitant whenever a topics like this was arises he thought against it. And now he don't care about anything. Jungkook will have to live with him whether he likes it or no.

Taehyung thought he will go mad with frustration and fear he felt. It was the second time in less than 2 weeks that jungkook was in such dangerous situations. He won't let this to happen ever again. And this time he will even go against jungkook for it.

He called Miri. They were already with hyunbin and yejin and were perfectly fine. Taehyung reassured her that jungkook was safe too and miri knew he was telling truth.

"Mum I need your permission for an extremely important decision. I hope you'll stand by me"

"I trust you taehyung i know you'll never do anything that will put us in danger. "

And then taehyung told her what he was going to do and Miri was surprised but she immediately agreed.
