Shopping is a bit of a relaxing hobby for me, which is sometimes troubling for the bank balance. --Rebecca Hall

Diana paced back and forth, a little anxious about the task at hand. However, Adrian didn't seem to have the qualms about their situation. He had plopped down in the middle of the floor with his laptop. She frowned slightly.

"Hey, take this, seriously will you?" She kneeled and peeked at the screen.

"Oh, don't worry I am." He flips the laptop around, drumming his fingers on the screen. "I was prepared." He pulls up a list of boy names. They were are seemingly common. She took the laptop from him and hummed softly as she began to scroll down the list.

Her eyebrows were the only show of emotion on her face as she scrolled.

"None of these spark the right feeling." Her eyes linger to a folder labeled delete later on his screen.

"What's this?" Diana already clicked it when Adrian's eyes went wide.

"Dian-.." He fell quiet as she looked at the screen, both of them completely silent.

Diana gasped softly, putting her hand to her stomach and closing the laptop. "Why didn't you show us that before..."

Adrain sighed softly, pulling the computer away. "I didn't think you'd like them. It's stupid. Wait for us?" Her lips curled up into a soft smile. There had been only one name on that list.

"He likes it. Little Aubrey." She cooed softly, feeling the first of the small movements that would keep her up at night and would no doubt be a slight annoyance in the coming weeks. However, right now it was a sign. Welcome to the world, Aubrey.

The next day came by so fast with the morning being a total war zone. Adrian's mother going all out to even make plans for the baby shower and take Diana out for some shopping for the upcoming baby. You see wolf pups grow at a faster rate than normal human babies even faster since this will be the first mixed-race of a dragon and wolf. Diana wondered just how the two races will mix. Even Adrain and the elder dragons wondered this too.

"Diana let's go! We have much shopping to do with so little time!" Stella beamed with excitement. Diana knew that shopping with her mother-in-law was going to be a wild adventure that could end until midnight. Or so Adrain and Diana hoped. Diana knew that the baby was going to be a boy so shopping for her cute baby boy clothes was going to be fun for her. Stella had taken Diana to every baby story they could find making sure that the clothes they picked would be perfect. Diana had thought about telling her parents the news of her pregnancy. She felt that it was right even after how they treated her. No matter what they are her family and she still loved them very much. There are times Diana does think of how her sister is doing. No matter the rivalry they have Diana will always love her sister even if she is a pain in the ass.

"Alright, my dear. One more store then we are done!" Stella said holding most of the bags herself. "We just need to find an arts and craft store."

"What would we need from there?" Diana asked surprised at how much Stella keeps going. She didn't even look tired. "How can you keep going? It's almost midnight!"

"We need to get a big scrapbook for all the pictures that will be taken when the baby is born!"

Diana knew had a feeling that Stella was far more excited about the baby than she was. Diana knew that Stella is going to spoil the hell out of her soon to be born grandson. She had to make sure that her son wouldn't be too spoiled because that could lead to complications shortly. Nothing good comes from spoiling a child.

After spending what felt like an eternity to Diana, it was finally time to return home for much-needed rest. Along the way home, Stella was telling her the most prized stories about Adrain's childhood. Hearing the part when Adrian was just 14 years old and took on an entire group of rouges that tried to enter the castle. He was still just a kid and yet he defended his kingdom like a man. Diana and her wolf Bell knew they were proud of their mate, but knowing this made the feeling grow stronger.

On the way back home Adrain and his father Oliver were standing by the main entrance to the castle with a very displeased look on their faces. Diana knew she and Stella were going to be scolded for being out so late and that it can be dangerous for her since Diana is carrying the next future king. Stella, on the other hand, brushed it off saying that no one would dare be brave enough to come near Diana with me around unless they wanted to die a very painful fiery death.

The rest of the night went by smoothly with Adrian keeping a close eye on Diana making sure she is comfortable and well relaxed. Being the first she-wolf to breed the next royal line of the dragons can be hard on the body.

"I need you to get your rest since tomorrow is the royal baby shower. Also, I want to make sure I have this right. You want your parents and sister to attend?" Adrain asked.

Diana nodded her head. "I do. They may be a pain but I love them. They are my family."

Adrain smiled as he moved closer to Diana giving her a sweet kiss on the lips.

"You have a kind heart there my little rose. If I had parents like yours it would have been hard for me to invite them to such an event like this."

"But I know you would still invite them, my love," Diana said smiling knowing her mate would still no matter how stubborn he is.

Adrian chuckles climbing into bed snuggling up to Diana wrapping his strong arms around her waist. Diana snuggled back closing her eyes falling fast asleep in content with a small part of her excitement for the baby shower.
