Diana's P.O.V.

Shifting through the covers I slowly woke up to an empty bed noticing that Adrian is gone. I rubbed my eyes lightly wondering where he could be when the events from yesterday came crashing back. I instantly turned my head to the desk where I left the letter containing information of the fox-demi gods gone.

"Shit! The letter!"

I climbed out the bed rushing to the bathroom to get changed not caring how my hair looks I just put it in a bun and ran out the room to Adrain's study to find him sitting at his desk with a hard look on his face. My eyes scanned the room to see not only Adrian but his parents, Owen, Megan and a man who I never have seen before.

"Glad you can make it my little rose. Mind explaining how you found this letter?"

The tone from his voice was serious. Seeing him this way made me feel very sick. It was like I was trying to fight my stomach from throwing up.

"Relax my dear. Just calmly tell them where you found the letter." Bell calmly told me. Even with her calm voice, I was still on edge.

All eyes were on me. The room was silent. So silent you could hear a pin dropping to the floor. The silence was not helping in any way. Inside I wanted to run, but I knew I have no chance of escaping.

I calmly took a deep breath so that I could explain. "Well...I was wondering around the castle to familiarize myself with my surroundings so that I would not have to get lost and you don't have to send a search party for me."

A snicker escaped from the mystery man's lips as he tried to cover it.

"Go on," Adrain said.

"Right. Um. While I was wandering around, I found a hidden passage with a secret room. I looked around the room and noticed that it was a vacant room. There was a half hanging portrait. When I moved it there was a safe already open with that latter. I read and found out that it contained some evidence of who the fox-demi gods are. I was planning on telling you until I ran into Owen and found out you were ill."

Adrain looked at Owen.

"Is this true Owen?" Adrain asked.

Hold up. Did he just ask if it was true? Dose he does not believe me!?

"It's true," Owen said.

"Well. Now that we have this letter in our possession, we will be able to understand who they are." Adrain said.

Everyone in the room started chatting along coming up with plans and ideas to use and tell the alpha king. I stood where I was fully upset and also feeling ignored. I didn't think Adrain was like this. Seeing as it seems I won't be of any help to this, I turned to leave the room. Just as I was about to open the door Adrain stropped me.

"Little rose. Where are you going?"

I put of a forced smile turning around. "Leaving. You all seem to be busy and I don't want to get in the way."

Adrain looked at me as if I had three heads. "You're not in the way. Why would you say that?"

I need to hold my tongue before I say something stupid. Pissing off a she-wolf never ends well for anyone.

"My help is not needed," I said in a snappy tone. Easy girl. Easy.

"We need you," Adrain said feeling the tension rise.

"You sure you don't need to confirm that with everybody?"

My comment had taken Adrian off guard, but I was to upset and didn't want to cause a bigger problem. I opened the door walking out to get some fresh air.

"Wait! Diana!" Adrian called out.

"Let me go! I need some air before I say something I will defiantly regret!"

With that, I stomped away like a little girl not caring how I looked. Although I am sure I will later on. I ended up walking out of the castle and into the woods wandering around enjoying the beauty of nature. It helped calm me and winter down. Walking further into the woods I noticed something off. The air was getting colder as I wrapped my arms around me to keep warm. The trees and bushes were all covered in frost and there standing in front of me were a woman my age dancing so gracefully making it snow. Her long silver hair flowing down her back, as they danced through the wind. That beautiful snow-white off-the-shoulder dress, with subtle detailing near the hem that sparkled in the light. Could I be being seeing an actual snow fair for the first time!?

The snow around her stopped falling as her gaze landed on me. I could see her shiny deep grey eyes that held a deep story behind them.

"What could a snow fairy be doing here?" Bell asked amazed.

"Well Winter, were about to find out now."

I took a step forward slowly not wanting to scare her off. What the hell am I doing? She's not a deer!

"I there," I said. "Sorry to disturb you. I was just walking around to cool off, but it seems I cooled off a lot more than I thought."

She smiled. "Sorry. Too cold for you? I tend to let my powers go freely."

I held a laugh. "So, you're letting it go?"

She laughed. "Funny. I can tell you're a werewolf by your scent."

"That I am. I'm Diana Winter."

"Nice last name. I'm Amelia Crown" Amelia said.

"Your name sounds very royal," I said.

Amelia laughed. "I get that from my friend. Your name sounds very winter-like."

"So, what brings a now snow fairy close to the dragon kingdom?" I asked.

Amelia gave a surprised look. "I had no idea I was. If we are in the dragon forest, what brings you here?"

Should I tell her I'm mated to the current dragon king? Ah, what the hell. No harm in telling her.

"I am mated to the current dragon king," I said seeing Amelia's face turn with surprise and shock. "I knew you would give that reaction."

"So that makes you a queen! Oh god! I am so sorry for my rudeness!" Amelia shouted bowing her head.

"Whoa! No need to bow to me! I'm serious!"

"But-"

"No bowing please." I gave a pleading look.

Amelia nodded. "Alright. So, why are you alone?"

Remembering why I needed to calm down came back to me making me groan out bitterly.

"I had a somewhat of a fight with my mate. I won't bore you with the details, but I did not handle it well."

"Sounds rough. I don't know what to say since I have yet to find my mate. Though I will say that you should talk to him and sort it all out" Amelia said giving a warm smile to her snow-like complexation.

"Your right. I better leave now. I can feel his worry for me." I said. "I hope to see you again Amelia. It's rare seeing a snow fairy like the fox-demi gods.

Amelia giggled nodding. "I hope to see you again soon Diana. Farwell.

After saying my goodbyes to Amelia, I hurried back to Adrian seeing him waiting by the gates with an angry and worried look. I did not know that was possible. I better get this over with.

"Look, Adrian-"

"Stop," Adrian said. "This is my fault. I hurt your feelings by asking Owen if what you said was true. That crappy of me. I trust you, Diana, with all my heart."

Awww! I am so blessed to have a mate like him! I ran to Adrain tackling him down.

"I'm sorry too. I should not have acted like that. Also, who was that guy in your office?"

Adrain wrapped his arms around my waist. "That was Kendall Stone. Beta to the Midnight Hell Pack. He was coming by to inform me about a meeting coming up soon and you will be attending."

"I knew it"

"Let's head back in. It's getting late."

I smiled. "Alright. I'm not feeling too well." For some reason, my stomach was feeling very unwell.

With that Adrain and I went back inside and enjoyed our time together until Adrain had to leave back to his study because of an important phone call. I ran into the bathroom puking my guts out. Something in me was telling me to take a pregnancy test so I did.

Once I did. The results were shocking. "Oh god..."

Third Person P.O.V.

Diana covered her face as she sat in silence for a while. Her face flushed red and her thoughts racing a million miles an hour.

Diana didn't know what anyone was going to think, let alone Adrain. She stood up fast and rushed to Adrian's studies. This needs to be out now.

Making her way down the hall, her heart didn't settle but her thoughts were easier.

Diana stood in front of her mate's studies, closed her eyes, breathing out, then she opened them again and grabbed the handle pushing the door open.

Adrian raised his head from the papers on his desk and smiled, "Afternoon Little Rose, everything okay?"

Diana walks over after closing the door and took Adrian's hands in her squeezing them tightly. She avoided his eyes before locking onto them and smiled softly," Adrain I have news."

He looked at her nodding slowly.

"Adrian, I'm pregnant."

A smile appeared if at almost too fast on his face before grabbing Diana in his arms tightly and squeezed excitedly. Diana squeaked in surprise but laughed at his expression on his face that was nothing but happiness and bliss.

"We've got to tell everyone," He pulled from her and grabbed her hands smiling excited, "Let's go!"

"Every...Everyone!?" Diana gasped as Adrian pulled her out of the studies and back down the familiar hallway," Yes! Everyone!"
