Successful and unsuccessful people do not vary greatly in their abilities. They vary in their desires to reach their potential. – John Maxwell

Diana laid in bed looking over her notes for her upcoming test in a few days that she wanted to pass.

"What part of the final will be the trouble?" Adrain asked.

Diana sighed leaning back onto the bed frame. "Many would say that it's the written part that screws them over, but for its not that. It's the damn multiple-choice questions because you never know which one is a trick questions the professor puts to piss us, students, off."

"I can tell it's pissing you off good from the slight visible on your forehead," Adrain said with a small smirk. Diana threw a pillow at his face annoyed.

"Haha. Very funny."

"I'm teasing my little rose. However, we will have to cut this short since the alpha king is on his way over to discuss the recent events regarding the fox-demi gods."

"He's coming today!?" Diana panicked jumping off the bed fixing herself up. Both of them heard a knock at the door.

"Who is it?" Adrain asked.

"It's me, Owen. The Alpha King is here. I have him waiting in the meeting room as we speak."

Adrian turned to Diana.

"Ready?"

Diana nodded. "Yeah. Let's go."

Alpha King sat in the room with Adrian and Diana. Words exchanged in worry and deep threat about the recent demi-fox god killing the packs that held a bad reputation. Adrian was deep in thought as the alpha king continued about the fact that had it not happened, more people than just Adrian could've gotten hurt on that night of the party, but the fact that there was even a sighting of the fox killing was trouble enough.

Diana sat quietly listening to both men ponder over it. In all senses, it was a good thing, but how it was done and seen, easily canceled it out. It left an uneasy feeling because either choice could be trouble.

"What if it was a warning? Or a sign?" Diana chimed in. The alpha king looked at the young female followed by Adrian. Diana smiled now feeling like a bit uneasy herself.

"She's not wrong," The alpha king nodded thinking on what she'd said.

"Maybe, but the thing is, what for?" he asked.

"Possible just to show they are here. Existing if at least hiding. Hopefully, nothing more comes." Adrain replied.

After more discussion, the alpha king to his leave informing Adrain and Diana he will keep them informed if something else was to occur.

"Diana, you need to get back to studying for your test. Come on." Adrian smiled, getting up from his chair.

Both now writing on note cards and papers to quiz Diana.

"Mind if I quiz you?" Adrian looked holding up five note cards. She placed her pencil down and nodded, "Go for it."

Adrian flicked through the cards in hiding and then looked at his mate, "What's the Sixth Amendment?"

Diana sat for a second, thinking through her thoughts. It has been long hours of studying with Megan and all these distractions were now messing up her train of thought. Good times always seem to do that.

Diana pressed her lips together then looked up, "All those accused of a crime may have a right to a speedy and public trial!" The confidence cut short at the sold look her lover gave her. Then he smiled, "Correct." He shuffled through again as Diana exhaled with relief.

Her test was going to have the easy Amendments like back in sixth grade. Which is good. I can't always have it easy.

"What Amendment states, "Section 1: The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, color, or the previous condition of servitude--? Diana?" Adrian peeked at her with a soft look as she thought.

Now he's giving me the answer, but I have to guess the number, darn it. Diana sighed and thought. It's the harder one.

Adrian watched as Diana made a face to think, chuckling to himself and crossing his arms. His lover always managed to look so cute while even doing the simplest things.

"Fifteenth?"

He looked, "Is that a question? Or your final answer?"

Diana was quiet and then nodded, "Answer."

"Yes, it's the Fifteenth. You might want to look over that one again if it leads you to question yourself. Now, what about the First Amendment?"

Diana pouted, "That's easy, it's the freedom to exercise speech, press, and religion."

Adrian chuckled. Diana smiled.

Continuing on Adrian followed up with giving her the answer for the Twenty-fifth Amendment.

"Section 2: Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress. What Amendment does this belong to?"

Diana sat dumbfounded. She didn't even remember looking over that one, let alone barely even skimming. Great, if she didn't get there she'd be in trouble.

"Little Rose?" Adrian's voice snapped her out of her thoughts and locking eyes with his. She bit her lip and looked down, "Sorry, I'm stumped."

"It's the Twenty-Fifth. Make sure you study that one as well. Now, the last one, what is the Twenty-seventh Amendment?"

"No law can take effect until the election of representatives have seen it over and approved."

"Yes. Not bad but it's best to always be safe and look over all of them. Especially the ones you need to practice on."

Adrian stood up and leaned over the table to kiss his lover's forehead before the door flew open. Megan was beaming and looked just as dead as Diana was feeling.

"Diana! Let's go camping to relax! Just you, me, and the sounds of nature around us and relaxation!"

Diana practically pushed Adrian out of the way to tackle her best friend in happiness and tears.

" I'm in let's go!"

Both the girls hugged one another in exhaustion and tears in the doorway as Adrian smiled and shook his head. Megan and Diana both collapsing together and leaning on one another to stay standing and not pass out.
