For the first time upon my arrival in Itzborough, almost a week went by without any quarreling, pranks, craziness, or shenanigans of sorts amongst Bangtan.

The hyungs had all called off a temporary break from work and were at the house all the time cleaning up and repairing, which meant that Jimin was back in school along with Taehyung and Jungkook for the time being.

Part of me was a little disappointed, but the other part of me was frustrated because Jimin and I had yet to even mention about the brief kiss. In fact, the most frustrating thing of it all was it seemed as if the blue-hair demon was avoiding me.

He was almost always gone when I woke up in the evenings despite Jungkook and Taehyung getting up around the same time as me. And in the morning he came back much later than Taehyung and Jungkook and seemed to escape in his room conveniently.

It was as if the kiss was some sort of figment of my imagination.

By the fourth night of practically no contact or communication from Jimin I was literally beginning to daydream of storming into his bedroom and fisting the front of his shirt like in the movies.

Maybe give one or two shakes for a good measure until he finally explained his actions.

Was the kiss just a hoax in a way just so he could become a Familiar by tasting blood? Or was there... maybe, just maybe, some sort of genuine feeling involved?

Just thinking that perhaps some part of the kiss might have been real in some way was enough to make everything in me flip upside down. And the unanswered question just fueled the mess of emotions in me.

For the most part of the nights I mainly just read different books Namjoon got from the library in hopes to answer or get a tip on how to send me back.

All I learned was that some demons had no clue what a 'human' even looked like.

Honestly, I was beginning to wonder if demon artists in books were all somehow inspired by Picasso.

Four nights of just sitting in the living room, reading books, getting fat on Jin's cooking, questioning my very existence on whether I actually might have somehow developed feelings for a freaking demon, and finding not a single answer or hint as to a way back home.

So naturally, I was both equally pissed as well as shocked when Jungkook came home from school one night, literally picked up one of the library books and began shouting upon flipping to one random page.

"I found it hyungs! I found it!" He began shouting.

"WHAT?" Jin's startled screech was followed by a loud crash from the kitchen.

I gaped up at Jungkook from the floor of the living room I had been sitting in all afternoon.

Loud footsteps signaled entrance of Hoseok and Namjoon soon followed by Taehyung half dragging a sleepy Yoongi into the room.

Of course no sign of Jimin as he hadn't even returned home yet.

"What are you kids all yapping so loudly on?" Yoongi groaned, rubbing his eyes.

"Hyung look!" Jungkook shook the book in the air.

"Which hyung?" Jin now appeared, a cloud of flour dusting his shirt and face. His huge eyes made his entire appearance twice as funny.

"Doesn't matter," Jungkook paused to quickly read the passage. "But I think I found the key."

I now stood up and peeked at the page Jungkook had opened. It was one of the books I had yet to read.

In fact...

"I don't think I've ever seen that book before," I frowned a little.

Jungkook cleared his throat. "It basically talks about how humans in certain parts of the world throw parties and clubs in which 'magic' is heavy in the air. Secret parties where they often perform voodoo and readings to each other."

"So basically the dumb human 'let's be magical' stuff, alright, I'm going back to bed," Yoongi yawned and began to shuffle away.

Taehyung's arm snapped out like a snake, latching onto the back of Yoongi's pajama collar and yanked the sputtering purple-haired demon back to his side.

"Thank you Taehyung," Jungkook primly cleared his throat before beginning to read. "Though humans can't perform actual magic as they may believe, such actions during readings or voodoo can alert spirits and even demons."

"Taehyung you have three seconds to let go lest you want to turn into a mushroom," Yoongi threatened the unbothered green-haired demon.

"When such times as these occur," Jungkook continued, "there can often be a blur one can say between dimensions where the boundaries between dimensions and worlds can take place."

"One," Yoongi began.

"If an individual can calculate the right time and place, there is rumor that beings can journey across different dimensions for a certain amount of time before things revert back to normal."

"Two," Yoongi raised his voice.

"When the dimensions revert back to normal, any beings that may have crossed dimensions will be pulled back to their respective dimension in which they belong to. However..."

"Threeee." Yoongi's hand began to glow violet and Taehyung was finally beginning to look a little nervous.

"Often times one can find what you call a Shadowseer, a being who takes on many forms, is often drawn to such voodoo clubs. If found and persuaded, has the power to grant demons alike to remain in a dimensionoftheirchoice." Jungkook finished off quickly as Yoongi began to lunge at Taehyung.

"YAH!" Taehyung threw himself to the side as Yoongi flung a ball of violet at him.

The violet ball missed Taehyung by a hair's length and rather landed on an armchair. There was a mild pop sound and in a blink of an eye in place of the armchair was a tiny mushroom.

Silence filled the room briefly.

"Did you just transform my favorite armchair into a mushroom?" Jin asked all too calmly.

Yoongi paled slightly. "Uh."

"I asked, did you just turn my favorite armchair into a mushroom?" the last few words were all but a bellow of fury as Jin began to literally glow silver in anger.

"Come on hyungs," Jungkook called. "Pay attention here will you?"

Jin strode over and grabbed the little mushroom that had once been his armchair off the ground to cradle it in his arms. "Yoongi you son of an angel! I oughtta-"

"STOP!" Jungkook finally exploded in a loud yell, finally catching the attention of everyone. "Come on everyone, think about it." He turned to me. "Y/N? You get all that?"

My mind was reeling at the moment of so much happening at once.

"If we can find perhaps one of these voodoo clubs and even this so-called Shadowseer, it may be the answer to sending Y/N back," Jungkook eagerly leaned forward.

"Now let's just slow down and think about things here, Jungkook," Namjoon ruffled his hair. "First, we don't even know if this so-called Shadowseer even exists. It sounds a little far fetched."

"The Shadowseer seems far fetched to you?" I regained my voice. "You guys are freaking demons!"

"So?" Hoseok frowned a tiny bit. "Not our fault if humans didn't believe in our existence."

"Even if a Shadowseer exists, we don't even know how to find such a party between dimensions as Jungkook read," Namjoon gestured. "That's going to be a lot of research for perhaps something that might not even be a thing."

"But it's worth a try," Jungkook insisted, brows lowering slightly giving him a more authoritative look. "This is exactly what we've been searching for. Some sort of lead or hint."

The hyungs all exchanged looks.

Namjoon finally sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Alright, listen. I'll look into it alright? I can't promise anything, but I'll try. First I have to stop by the insurance office again."

I bit my lip a little, trying to suppress a small smile at the prospect of perhaps returning home. But... as I gazed around the faces of the youthful faces of the demons around me, part of me twinged a little at the prospect of perhaps having to say goodbye to them.

It's okay, Y/N, I told myself. "This is what you wanted and this is the best for you. You don't belong in a world of magic and ancient beings like them.

"What's going on?" A brand new voice entered the room.

At the very sound of the light, musical voice my heart instantly skipped a beat as everyone turned to where Jimin was standing in the doorway to the living room.

"Finally decided to show up huh?" Jin huffed a little.

"Hyung!" Jungkook smiled a little. "We just discovered a possible way for Y/N to go back home."

An unreadable expression crossed Jimin's face and remained there.

Confusion?

Surprise?

Something else?

"What kind of expression is that?" Hoseok chuckled a little.

"I, uh..." Jimin blinked and now I furrowed my brows a little.

Why was he acting so weird?

"That expression, Hoseok, is a look of guilt," Yoongi piped up over Jimin's incoherency.

"What are you talking about?" Jin snorted. "Guilt for what?"

Yoongi narrowed his eyes slightly at Jimin. His next words sent chills down my spine.

"Guilt because Jimin found out how to send Y/N back to earth several days ago before any of us and never told anyone. Aren't I right Jimin?"
