"Ow, Hoseok hyung that hurts!"

"Will you stay still then, you big baby!"

"Yoongi hyung, your Familiar's teeth are sharp."

"Well maybe if your Familiar had listened to Namjoon then I wouldn't have had to take a chomp at your leg, Taehyung."

"Dude, I can't control my Familiar! He saw Y/N and thought she was an enemy. She didn't have the Mark, he didn't know any better."

"Tae, I swear to Satan's pitchfork if you don't stop squirming I'll take this needle and shove it right up your blessed a-"

"Will you three shut it? I think the Human is waking up!"

Voices all around me filled my ears and a soft groan escaped me as it felt like drums were beating inside my head.

Pinpricks of dim light stabbed at the darkness as my eyes slowly cracked open. I slowly began to grow aware of soft sheets around me. I was in some sort of bed and I could sense several different body forms all around me.

Finally, my vision began to clear and I blinked to see several faces looking down on me with all sorts of ranging emotions painted on each one.

They all had outlandish bright hair colors and I realized all of them were male and may I add all of them were quite handsome.

"Y/N, hey are you okay?" one of them, with strange bright green hair, piped up worriedly.

Who were these hotties?

"Y/N, can you hear us?" now a young man with white-hair piped up. He turned to the orange-hair beside him. "Hoseok hyung, are you sure her ears weren't damaged?"

"Excuse me, are you doubting my healing skills Namjoon?" the orange-haired bristled. "Again?"

"Y/N, can you answer us?" now the green-hair touched my shoulder and I immediately shied away from him.

"Wh-who are you?" I whispered, my voice raspy. My throat felt raw.

What happened?

More importantly, where was I?

"Hyung, I don't think she recognizes us," the green-hair cried in dismay.

"Nonsense," the orange-hair snorted. "She didn't hit her head and there was no sign of brain damage."

"Maybe not physically but what if her brain shut down after all the trauma she experienced?" the white-haired nudged the orange-haired. "She's not used to seeing anything like a demon battle."

"Y/N, hey you remember me right?" Now a brand new face appeared, huge golden eyes with fluffy golden hair.

"Why the heck would she remember you, Jungkook?" the green-haired snorted, tugging at the golden-hair's shoulders.

A bear.

There was a bear.

A tickling sensation was entering the back of my head.

"Should we try to get Jimin?" a voice outside my peripheral vision called. "Maybe that'll trigger some of her memories."

We were all in a dimly lit large room with some chairs and cushions. I was laying on a pile of blankets in the middle of it with a pillow propping my head up.

"No," the orange-hair immediately snapped. "Jimin is not in any way allowed to get out of the bed for the next 24 hours."

Jimin.

Jimin.

Why was that name so familiar?

"Y/N, do you remember anything at all?"

I looked up at the white-hair above me.

"What happened?" I asked softly.

"You fainted. I think everything you saw sent your brain on overdrive."

A green tiger was there too.

And a blue fox with nine tails.

Blue.

Blue. Jimin. Blue.

Babysitter.

"Maybe we should let her rest a little more," the golden-hair fretted. "She just woke up after all."

Jimin. Demon. Babysitter. Blue. Blue fox. Jimin. Kiss...

"Oh my ghod, Jimin kissed me," the words left my mouth in a high-pitched yelp as memories finally began to crash on me.

The shattering windows. The Familiars. Jimin.

I was in Itzborough, home of the demons which meant all thee young 'men' around me were actually-

"WhAt?!?!?!"

I flinched at the shriek.

The green-hair, I now remembered as Taehyung had his jaw to the ground.

"Hoseok, I think I need my hearing checked again," Jungkook coughed nervously. "For some reason I just heard Y/N say Jimin kissed her?"

"Uh," Hoseok was also gaping at me. "I-I think your hearing is just fine, Jungkook."

Whoops.

Did I seriously just blurt out about Jimin's kiss to everyone?

"No, hyung, please check my ears for real," Jungkook slunk up to Hoseok's side. "I swear, there's no way I heard that right."

"Hang on," Jin now bounded into view as he joined all the young demons around the bed I was laying in. "You said Jimin kissed you?"

I buried my face in my hands.

"AH-HAHA!"

I jumped at the sudden boisterous laughter.

Jin was doubling over in a strange squeaky laugh.

"Good job, Y/N," Yoongi called over from where he was sitting in a chair a little away from the group. "You just made Jin hack up a car windshield wiper."

Sorry to say, but it literally did sound like a windshield wiper sound effect was escaping Jin.

"What's so funny hyung?" Namjoon stared at the wide-shouldered man.

Jin finally caught his breath and straightened up, wiping a few tears from his eyes. "Oh my, oh my, well this is just perfect! I was just so scared all of you were gay like Yoongi and Hoseok but it turns out Jimin is straight. I now have a new favorite child."

"What in the Ninth Circle of Hell??" Jungkook blinked rapidly a few times. "That's why you were laughing?"

"Of course," Jin wiped a few tears from his eyes. "Oh such a relief."

I winced as I tried to sit up, several of my joints popping and creaking.

"Here," Namjoon quickly took my arm and helped me up.

I bit my lip a little as I met his pale irises, recalling the way this demon before me had literally ripped the Familiar away from its demon owner so ruthlessly.

Had I lost my memory temporarily again? Like last time?

"Y/N, about what happened," Namjoon cleared his throat softly, reading my expression. "We had to do what we had to do. To protect you."

"Did anyone die?" I asked hoarsely.

"No," Namjoon quickly shook his head. "We don't fight to kill."

I shuddered a little as I recalled more of the gruesome scenes that had played out before me.

"Y/N," Namjoon began to reach for me again.

"Don't touch me, please," I whispered.

"We're not going to hurt you," Namjoon soothed.

I just shook my head. "I was so naïve," I said softly, half talking to myself. "I knew you guys had powers, but what I saw... you guys can kill me in an instant. One wrong move and I might be signing a death sentence with all of you."

"Y/N, no," now Hoseok was shaking his head vigorously. "Please don't see us as a threat to you now just because you saw a very rare occurrence in which we used our powers. We're here to help you."

"How do I know that though?" I demanded, panic beginning to build up in me. I suddenly felt small and trapped among just the four demons around me, not to mention three more of them were somewhere in the house.

Each one with unimaginable deadly powers within that could be unlocked in a bat of an eyelash.

The four exchanged uncertain looks.

"How do I know you all won't kill me, even accidentally?" I pressed, voice rising in both volume and pitch. "How am I supposed to trust you all?"

"Because we were all in your exact position once in our lifetimes," a new voice called from behind me.

I twisted around, knowing I wasn't the only startled one as the other four all looked up in equal surprise.

"Jimin, what did I say about moving!" Hoseok began to admonish.

The blue-haired demon in the doorway ignored Hoseok's scolding. He was focused only on me and my stomach did a flip as I recalled his hot lips on mine, and how it felt.

"What did you just say?" I asked softly.

Jimin was wearing an oversize black T-shirt and sweats. He shoved his hands into the pockets. "We, all seven of us, were exactly in your type of situation once Y/N. Helpless, trapped and at the mercy of others."

My brows wrinkled a little.

Jimin took a deep breath. "You asked what happened to my wrists the other day. In the Mad King's War, Jungkook, Taehyung, and I were all children slaves, at the mercy of our masters. And if we rebelled in the slightest way, even in just a glance, we would be tortured. Or if we were lucky, killed."
