A touch of soft hand on my forehead woke me up from deep sleep. I moaned because I wanted to sleep more. I could hear birds chirping and feel the cool breeze coming from the window. I finally opened my eyes and my grey orbs met the azure orbs.

"How are you feeling cara?" Isabel cooed.

I blinked a few times to kick start my brain and then focused on her face as I met her questioning gaze, I realized what she had asked me. I took a deep breath, I was feeling much better than the other day.

"I am feeling much better." I replied and nodded, smiling. I had this weird taste on my tongue and my teeth feel gritty. She helped me sit up. I leaned back on the pillows that she had adjusted.

"I am so sorry Maria-

"It's okay Isabel you didn't know."I said and took her hand in mine. Honestly I felt bad for this kind lady, I couldn't even decipher how much guilt she was feeling from her expression.

She smiled back and nodded her head. But I could see from the way her forehead wrinkled that she was still thinking too much.

There was a knock on the door. Then Antonio walked in.

"Oh Good Morning Maria. How are you feeling?"

"I am fine, my throat still aches a little bit but I guess the fever is gone."

"Yeah let me check." He said as walked closer to where I was and sat beside me on the bed. He placed the thermometer in my mouth. We all were in comfortable silence waiting for the thermometer to beep. When it finally did beep, he took it out and studied the reading.

"Well the fever is gone." he said with a smile.

My breath hitched.

Wow his smile...

"Here take this." Isabell said, giving me an orange tablet and glass of water.

After swallowing the tablet. I looked at both of them.

"Uh I am fine thank you. I kind of feel gross. I am going to take a shower." I said as I waited for Antonio to stand and get out of my way.

I swear I was blushing tomato red. I slowly stood up and walked towards the bathroom and slowly closed the door behind me and leaned my back against it as I tried to catch my breath. Antonio being this near to me? Did some things to me and my body.

I slowly walked towards the mirror and stood there with my hands covering my eyes. I hadn't even looked at the mirror yet, I knew I was looking like crap. I lowered my hands and opened my eyes.

I seriously look like crap. Why am I not shocked...?

I took a long hot shower and wrapped myself with a huge towel and walked out of the bathroom into my room. As I walked in, I saw Antonio sitting on my bed doing something on his phone.

Oh shit.

What to do??

I wanted my clothes and they were in the closet. I was about to walk back when Antonio looked up.

"Uh...Uh..I-I didn't kn-know you would be here." I said embarrassed.

Seriously? I just stood there completely naked except the towel and that too was about to slip down, I instantly took a hold of it.

My cheeks were definitely red now.

He just kept staring at me without blinking.

I cleared my throat.

"I am so sorry. I'll give you some privacy." he said and stood up.

"Uh...NO wait." I said and he sat back down.

Oh shit. Maria what the hell are you doing? My subconscious yelled at me

"You wait here, I'll change in the closet."

I hurriedly went into the closet and sighed.

I closed my eyes and groaned.

Why me??

I put on my undies, a tank top and yoga pants with a baggy T-shirt, took a deep breath and walked out of the closet. I sat down in front of him on the bed.

"Antonio, thank you again for last night." I started.

He just nodded.

Why exactly was he here..?

He was not saying something.

"Maria I am here to tell you something important."He said as if he read my mind.

"Yeah?" I asked, tilting my head a bit.

"Your father gave you something right?" he said.

"Huh?" I asked, confused.

"Did he give any sort of chip?" He asked.

"What chip?" I asked, still confused.

I think I should tell him about the necklace.

"He gave me a necklace then I had some jeweler make it into a ring." I said showing him a ring.

He smirked. "Clever man." he muttered.

"What's so important in it? It's just a ruby ring." I asked,

"Well there's a chip inside it that contains a lot of important information." He simply said and smiled like he just won a lottery.

Maybe he literally just did.
