"Weasley! Weasley! Weasley!" Everyone cheered at Ron who was standing in the middle of the common room, smiling broadly. All the Gryffindors were in the common room, celebrating their victory in quidditch against Slytherin.

"You really shouldn't have done it." Hermione said at Harry who was just looking at happy Ron.

"I know. I suppose I could've just used a Confundus Charm." He said. Hermione and Jaiden looked at each other before looked back at Harry.

"That was different. That was tryouts. This was an actual game." Hermione said. He pulled out a tiny vial from his pocket shirt and there was a half of the untouched liquid luck.

"You didn't put it in." Jaiden said.

"Nope." Harry said.

"Ron only thought you did." This time, Hermione said and Harry nodded to confirm it.

"Brilliant." Jaiden said and Harry just stood there, smiling proudly at himself. They turned back their attention on Ron. The time they saw him, he was being pulled by Lavender to the side and she smashed her lips with his.

The common room burst into another loud cheered. Jaiden looked at them with a slight wide eyes, Harry was smiling and Hermione seemed like she would burst into tears any moment.

"Okay, enough for today. I'm out." Jaiden said while looking at Harry before walked away from him and walked up the stairs to her dorm.

The next morning, Blaise, Draco and Jaiden kept arguing with each other playfully. Blaise and Draco kept saying that they just gave the Gryffindor a chance. And Jaiden kept saying that they just couldn't accept the truth.

They had deal with each other to meet back at the Astronomy Tower after their classes ended, which they did. When Jaiden arrived, the both already there.

"Hey, Jaiden. I was starting to think that you couldn't make it." Blaise said teasingly. Jaiden rolled her eyes and dropped her bag next to theirs on the floor. She went to them who was leaning their arms against the rail and did the same.

"So, how about your plan on making Horcrux?" Draco asked.

"I don't know, Dray. I'm still thinking about it." Jaiden replied. "I'm just worry about, what if I'm doing it wrong? What if I make a wrong decision by making a Horcrux?"

"Don't worry, Jay." Draco said and wrapped his arm around her shoulder. "You're brilliant. I'm sure you will be alright." He added and smiled warmly at her which she gladly returned it back.

"Aren't you suppose to get ready for tonight, Blaise? You know, Slughorn's party." Jaiden asked and looked at him. Blaise shook his head.

"Why I need to go when I'm totally sure that you guys wont be there?" He replied.

"Admit it, idiot. You couldn't find any happiness without us around." Draco said and they three burst out laughing.

"You're right." He admitted it. They stayed up there until it was time for them to eat supper.

The next morning had came and finally it was their time to go back to their homes for Christmas holiday. On the train, Jaiden joined Blaise and Draco at their compartment. In there, they just eating, playing, joking and sleeping for the rest of the ride.

When they stepped out from the train, they bid their goodbye with each other and walked away to their families. Jaiden spotted Harry and Ron so she walked up to them and walked with them.

"Where are you? We didn't see you on the train." Ron asked.

"I was with Draco and Blaise." She replied simply.

"I don't understand, Jaiden. Why are you hanging out with them? They are Slytherins." Harry asked and they all started walking to the barrier. "I always wanted to ask you this but we barely had a time together to talk. If not with your books, you'll be with them." Harry said again and looked at her suspiciously.

"Harry, I'm just making friends with them. How long would our mindset be about Gryffindors and Slytherins couldn't be friends?"

"But still. They're Slytherins. They're-"

"Bad?" Jaiden cut him off. She stopped walking and looked at him. Ron who was standing beside Harry, looking awkward at the conversation his two friends were having.

"I tell you what, Harry, there are kind Slytherins. Change your mindset about every Slytherins are bad. Why? Because they bullies kids? Because, for sure, the only thing they would be in the future is a Death Eaters? Please, Harry. I'm done with having a conversation about me being friends with Slytherins."

"Right. Sorry, Jaiden. I won't ask again. But, don't you think Malfoy has been acting strange? Last night at our party, Filch caught Malfoy snuck in. He wasn't even invited." Harry said again and they started to walk back.

"I didn't know about that, but when he is around us, he's just fine." Jaiden replied after they have passed the barrier.

"Yeah, he's good at acting, isn't he?" Harry said but Jaiden didn't reply anything. She just rolled her eyes in annoyance and walked up to her father and the others when she spotted them.

"Hello, kids. How's school?" Molly asked and pulled Ron into hug. Jaiden did the same to his father and Harry was being hugged by Sirius.

"I think it's fine." Jaiden said. "Better for Ron though." Ron eyes widened slightly and he rushed to her to cover her mouth.

"Don't let her know." He whispered.

"What do you mean, Dear?" Molly asked. Ron looked at her with a pleading eyes and shook his head slightly.

"He was the reason why Gryffindor won in quidditch against Slytherin." Harry said. Molly started to beam and pulled Ron into another hug.

"I'm so proud of you." Molly said and hugged him again before walked away with Ginny. Ron turned to Harry and Jaiden, looking awkward.

"I thought you're going to tell her about Lav, but that worked too. Thanks." He said and walked away too when Molly called him.

"How about you guys?" Remus asked Harry and Jaiden.

"Well, someone has their eyes on Harry. And me, it's just the same as always, but less adventures." Jaiden said.

"Are you talking about Romilda Vane?" Harry asked in disbelief.

"Oh, come on. You got hit by Hermione when you thought to bring her with you at Slughorn's party."

"Yes, but I didn't bring her, did I?" Harry said and Jaiden just rolled her eyes.

They apparated back to 12 Grimmauld Place and walked in. Harry and Jaiden started to unpack their things while Remus and Sirius started to making them dinner.

After dinner, Harry went down to the living room where Remus and Sirius were talking. He tried to ask Jaiden to come with him but, as always, she was reading and no one can get that book off of her. He settled down next to Sirius.

"Where's Jaiden?" Remus asked,

"In her room, reading. She has being like that from the start of the year. Always with her books." Harry said and Sirius laughed.

"She take it after her father, of course. You should see how Remus always with his books everywhere he went, back then." Sirius said and Remus laughed slightly.

"What book she's reading?" Remus asked.

Harry shrugged. "I don't know. I've never seen it." Remus nodded and got up.

"I'm gonna check on her." He informed them both.

Jaiden was sitting on her bed with her back pressed against the headboard. She was reading the book that Blaise gave her about travel the time. When she was deep into her book, she was brought back to reality when someone knocked on her door.

"Yes?" She said and the door opened. She saw Remus. He shut the door behind him and walked to her. He sat down next to her on her bed and faced her.

"What are you reading?" Remus asked after he sat down. He tried to peer at her book but she closed it immediately.

"Nothing." She said and placed the book to her right side, careful to not let him see the title of the book. "What's up?" Remus shook his head.

"I just want to check on you."

"Check on me? Why? I'm fine, Dad." She said while chuckling slightly.

"Yes, but Harry told us that you were just into books this year. You do nothing and I know that something is up." She shrugged.

"I can't do anything else. Fred and George already graduated, Sevy said to play no more pranks. What else I can do other than reading?" She said, shrugging her shoulders.

"Ah, I see where is this going. You're going to be a full time nerd now." Remus teased and Jaiden laughed.

"Come on, Dad. Everyone knows I'm taking it after you." Jaiden said back. Remus laughed.

"Oh, you cheeky little thing." He said while ruffling her hair, but his other hand went to her right and slowly grabbed the book when she wasn't notice. "Got it." He said and moved a few inches away from her with her book in his hand.

"Wha-? Hey!" She exclaimed and tried to take the book back. He quickly stood up from his sitting position on her bed and held the book high in the air that she couldn't reach it.

She got up as well and started to struggling to get the book back from him, which obviously she failed to do so.

"Give it back, Dad." She jumped to get the book but Remus stood on his tip toes and making it even harder for her to reach.

"Why you have to be so tall?" She said and hit him on his stomach. He grunted a bit but it soon changed into laugh. "You cheating."

"First, it's you that being short, not about me being tall. Second, eat more so you can grow. And third, why you need to be so secretive with me? I'm your father." He said.

Remus pushed her slightly while chuckling and walked away from her. He started to opened it page by page which made Jaiden gave up instantly.

"Travel time, huh? Interesting." Remus mumbled but it was loud enough for her to hear him. Jaiden turned to him just to see his concentration on that book. "How did you get this?" He asked and finally looked up at her.

She shrugged. "Blaise gave it to me. We-" Her eyes widened slightly when she realized what she was about to tell him. "He found it in the library and he thought that I would love to read it." After she said that, she smiled awkwardly at him.

Of course, Remus didn't buy with her lies. He gave her a knowing look before nodding his head.

"I know you're lying but I won't push you. But, why?"

"I'm really bored this year. Nothing I can do. And don't say that I'm the only one who keep my head into books. Harry does it too."

"Fine. But, don't do anything stupid." Remus said before gave her back her book. Jaiden took it from him and smiled. "Come here, love." He said and held out his hand to his side. Jaiden jumped into his arms and they both hugged.

When they pulled back, they heard a soft tapping that came from her window above her study table. Jaiden went there, drew the curtain aside and it showed a brown chocolate owl with a letter on its beak.

She opened the window and the owl flew in.

'She's your friend's owl.' Came Jake's voice.

"Who?" She asked while looking at her own owl.

"What?" Remus asked. Jaiden shook her head and nodded to Jake.

"Jake. He's talking to me." She said. Remus looked between the bird and his daughter.

"I don't hear anything."

'Tell him that he can't hear me. Even with your link.' Jake said.

"You can't hear him. Not even with our link." Jaiden said to Remus and looked back at Jake. "Who?" She asked again and looked at the owl that was just arrived.

'Blaise.' Jaiden nodded and walked towards the owl who landed on her bed.

"It's from Blaise." Jaiden informed her father and took the letter from the owl. After Jaiden had taken it from her, she flew out from her room.

"Why I'm starting to think that there's something happening between you two? It's always Blaise you were talking." Remus squinted his eyes suspiciously at her while walking to her bed to sit down.

"There's nothing happening." She said and tore opened the letter. She started to read it out loud. "Hi, Jaiden. How about the day after Christmas we go out? Me, you and Draco. I've sent Draco a letter about this too so I really really hope we can go together. Maybe to the muggle world. Send me your thoughts. Your best friend ever, Blaise." She chuckled at the last part.

"What did we told you about having a boyfriend, Pup?" Came Sirius's voice. She looked up from that letter and saw Harry and Sirius. Sirius was leaning his side against her doorway. He was looking straight at her and Jaiden could see immediately that he was ready to start a fight.

Then she, too, saw Remus was glaring down at her. She gulped slightly and asked for Harry's help by looking at him. He shrugged and gave her an apologetic look.

"Blaise is not my boyfriend." She finally said. "We're just friends and you heard what he said. Me, him and Draco. We're not going together alone."

"Who's this Blaise kid again?" Sirius asked and walked into her room even more with Harry followed behind.

"A Slytherin boy that Jaiden had started to be friends with from last year." Harry said.

"Ah, Slytherin. Interesting." Sirius said with a tone that he didn't even mean it and it made her to look down. Deep down in her heart, it hurt her. What's wrong with having a Slytherin's friends? Is it a wrong thing?

"I think I'm going to bed now." Jaiden told them and stood up. She put the letter from Blaise in her drawer and walked into her bathroom to wash up first.

"That's a queue for us to leave." Remus said after a few minutes of hearing the water running. But before they can leave, Jaiden came out. "Do you want me to tuck you in?" Remus asked.

"No, thanks." She replied without looking up at them three and get under the cover.

"Okay. Goodnight, Jaiden." Remus said and switched off the light.

"Night." They heard a muffled voice of her before Remus shut the door.
