The night that she had planned finally came. She was sitting at the edge of her bed, debated to herself whether to do it or not. If she don't do it, it would be a waste because she already knew how to do it. But if she do it, it would cause her a pain.

She had been thinking about it for the passed four hours but she couldn't make her decision. It was nearly midnight though. She stood up and let out a frustrated groan. She started to pace around her room while rubbing her face using her hands.

After a few minutes of pacing, she stopped when someone knocked on her door. She straightened up herself and went to her door to open it. It was Parvati Patil. She opened her door wider and smiled at Parvati.

"Hi, Jaiden. I'm sorry if I'm disturbing you."

"Not at all. What's up?" Jaiden asked. Parvati then pulled out a note from her pocket and gave it to her. "What's this?" She asked while slowly opened it.

"Some guy gave it to me and told me to give it to you. He's from Slytherin. Blaise, if I'm not mistaken." Jaiden nodded while reading his note. He told her to meet him outside of her common room. "What is it? Is that a love note?" She teased. Jaiden laughed and shook her head.

"It's not. Thanks though. I have to go." She said and Parvati nodded before walked away. Jaiden went back into her dorm and grabbed her jacket before walked out from her dorm and common room.

When she arrived outside, she saw Blaise was leaning his back against the wall beside the portrait, waiting for her. When he saw her, he pushed his back from the wall and smiled at her.

"Hi, Jaiden."

She smiled back. "Hi. What are you doing here? Won't you get caught?" She asked while looking around for any sight of Filch. Luckily there wasn't.

"I thought you will go to the library, because you didn't tell me what's your plan. As what you said, it's a good idea to steal more books so I went there to accompany you, but you weren't there. So I came here to ask if you're going to the library." She looked at him while shaking her head before chuckled.

"So, your point is, you want to follow me tonight." She asked while still chuckling. Blaise nodded his head quickly. "I don't know, Blaise. I think I'm gonna cancel my plan. I still need to think about it." Blaise squinted his eyes suspiciously at her but nodded nonetheless.

"Right." He said.

"But, since we are outside right now, why don't we go and give a visit the empty library. It's a good idea to steal more books, isn't it?" Blaise smirked at her.

"It is." He said and they chuckled together. They silently started to make their way to the library. Soon, they were standing just outside of the library.

"Let the pro make her job." Blaise said and smirked. Jaiden rolled her eyes but had a smile on her face. She slowly opened the door in attempt to not make any sound. She slipped in through the door and gave Blaise a sign to follow her after she made sure there was no one inside.

Jaiden led their way to the restricted section with Blaise following from behind. They went inside the restricted section successfully without making any sound. They smiled at each other before celebrated it quietly.

"Now, what are we going to do in here?" Blaise asked, just above a whisper.

"Try to find an interesting book, then steal it." She said, whispering back and started to make her way to the shelves.

"What if Madam Pince does find out?" He chased after her.

"Don't worry. She wouldn't. She barely check the books in here. Wands out for the light then you can choose one from these books. Remember, Blaise. Just one." Blaise nodded in understanding and walked away. After 10 minutes, she heard Blaise called her. She followed his voice until she found him at one of the shelves.

"Jaiden, look what I found!" He whispered yelled when he saw her coming. She quickly made her way towards him and look at what he was pointing. He was pointing the tip of his wand at one book he found. Jaiden read the title.

"Let's travel the time." Jaiden read.

"Cool, isn't it? Now, I know why you like it here." Blaise said and laughed a bit before opening the book. She leaned her back against the wall and looked at how interesting he was. She smiled to herself and shook her head a bit and waited for him.

Suddenly, he started to talk. "They tell us everything about travel the time. How to, the consequences and the spell." He said and sat down on the floor. Jaiden slid down on the floor and held out her hand. A blue flames came out from her hand which made Blaise jumped in surprised. She chuckled a bit and turned the flames into ball and let it floated to give the the light they needed.

"Nox." Blaise said and the light from the tip of his wand vanished. "Brilliant. Didn't know you could do that." Jaiden just smiled at his comment.

"How's the party with Slughorn?" She asked. Blaise sighed and put down his book.

"Boring. I have no friend at there."

"Sucks." She mumbled but he heard her so he nodded.

"Hey, Jaiden?" Blaise called after a few good minutes of silent. She hummed in respond with her eyes staring at the floor. "We didn't get a chance to ask you about what kind of book you took from the start."

At this she froze. She wasn't sure whether to tell him or not. She knew she can believe him. They kept her secrets with stealing all those book and many other things. She looked at him who was eyes already on her. She took a deep breath and nodded.

"At first, I took two books from here. One is about advance spells and the other one is about dark magic. So far that I found, the one that about dark magic is the worse. They are about hexing spells, Dark Potions, the Unforgivable Curses and Horcrux."

"What the hell is Horcrux?" Blaise asked, putting his book aside.

"It's an object we choose to put a part of our soul into it." She explained. But, when she saw Blaise was looking at her confusedly, she chuckled. "It means, that we won't die easily because some part of our soul is in somewhere else." He nodded when he got what she mean.

"Does the book tells you how to make it?" Jaiden nodded.

"We have to kill someone and take something that theirs. The incantation are all in that book."

"That's cool but not in the killing part." He said and Jaiden chuckled.

"The killing part is the worse, yeah." She said and looked down at her ring.

"Are you alright?" He asked when he saw she was fiddling with her ring. No response. "Hello?" He called again while snapping his fingers in front of her. Jaiden snapped out back from her thoughts and looked at him.

"What is wrong with you? And don't you dare say nothing." Jaiden shook her head.

"You don't need to know and, believe me, you don't want to." She said. Blaise moved closer to her and put his hand on her arm and searched for her eyes.

"You can tell me." He said softly. Jaiden never see this side of Blaise. He can be mean, he can be funny but she never see him being a soft person who care about someone.

"I've killed someone. Two people." She said. Blaise furrowed his eyebrows and tilted his head to the side.

"When?"

"Christmas, last year." She replied simply. Blaise raised his brows as in to ask how. "It was a full moon. I lost my control and accidentally killed two boys. And this," She said and showed him the ring she was wearing around her finger. "This was belonged to the older boy I killed. I found it in the forest where I killed them." She said shrugging.

"Why don't you tell us? At least me and Draco." She shrugged again.

"I don't know. Maybe I'm too scared to talk about it."

"Do you mind if I tell Draco?" She chuckled.

"You will never shut your mouth, do you?" She asked, chuckling and Blaise proudly shook his head. "As you wish. But, just Draco." He nodded.

A few minutes later, Blaise gasped while looking at her with wide eyes.

"Is there any chance that your plan for tonight is making a Horcrux?" Jaiden looked down and sighed before nodding her head. Blaise's jaw dropped. "Why?"

"I don't know, Blaise." She said, groaning. "Maybe because there's a war coming. I don't want to miss this chance."

Blaise nodded. "It would be sound weird but I support you."

Jaiden looked up at him in surprised. "What?"

"Well, you got a point about a war that coming and you have to make it out alive for your family. And, about that both boys death, at least you have something good to do with it." He skipped for a moment. "Err, maybe making a Horcrux is not a good thing but it will gives you benefits." He said. And the more he said, the wider his smile became. Jaiden could see his point so she smiled too.

"Thanks."

"I'm gonna tell Draco about this too." She laughed silently. "Why didn't you do it tonight? Apart from I'm interrupted you."

"It said that it's painful to make and considering that I'm still in process on healing myself from the previous full moon, I changed my mind. Thank Merlin, you came."

"What do I say? I'll always come on time." He said and they both burst out laughing but quickly low down their voices. "Blimey, Jay! It's 3 in the morning." Blaise said after he looked at his watch. This made them laughed again.

"Okay, okay. Enough for tonight. Let's go back to our dorm." Jaiden said and Blaise agreed with her. They got up and dusted themselves off. Blaise picked up a book that he took earlier and showed it in front of her face.

"Do you want it? This started to get boring." Jaiden shrugged and took it from him.

"Why not? Oh, and I'm gonna send you back at your common room." Blaise nodded and they started to make their way out from the restricted section and the library.

When they were outside of the library, Jaiden put up Invisibility Charm on both of them and walked towards the dungeon. After she had dropped him off at his common room, she quickly made her way up back to her common room. The minute she arrived at her dorm, it was 3:25.

She took off her jacket and put the book Blaise gave her at her nightstand before laid down in her bed. She shook her head and sighed while smiling to herself.

"Wow. We should hang out at night more often." That was the last thing she said before fell into the darkness.

When Jaiden woke up, it was 6:50. She rubbed her eyes before got up from her bed and went to changed. She was still sleepy but she pushed herself considering that it was quidditch match and she need to support Ron in his first game.

When Jaiden entered the Great Hall, she spotted Harry and Hermione at the middle of their table but no sign of Ron. She went there and sat down in front of them.

"Morning." Jaiden mumbled at the two before took an apple from the table.

"Morning, Jaiden. How long did you stay up last night?" Hermione asked. Jaiden looked up at her confusedly. "You look tired." She said again.

"I went to sleep at 3." When she heard this, she sighed and shook her head. Soon, Ron joined them at the table.

"So, how was it, then?" Ron asked after sitting down next to Jaiden.

"How was what?" Hermione asked back, looking up from the Daily Prophet.

"Your dinner party?"

"Pretty boring, actually. Though I think Harry enjoyed dessert." Hermione said which made harry looked up at her. "Slughorn's having a Christmas do, you know. And we're meant to bring someone." She added.

"I expect you'll be bringing McLaggen. He's in the Slug Club, isn't he?" Ron said.

"Actually I was going to ask you." Hermione said with a slight anger tone.

"Really?" Just then, Lavender came to them and nudged Ron to get his attention.

"Good luck today, Ron. I know you'll be brilliant." That was all she said before walked away.

"I'm resigning. After today's match, MgLaggen can have my spot." Ron said.

"Have it your way." Harry said and pushed a goblet of juice towards him. "Juice?"

"Sure." He took it but before he can drink it, there was a voice coming from beside Jaiden.

"Hello, everyone." It was Luna. She was wearing a head of Gryffindors's mascot which made Jaiden's eyes went wide in surprised. "You look dreadful, Ron. Is that why you put something in his cup? Is it a tonic?" She asked. Harry held out a vial of liquid luck slightly before stuffed it back in his pocket.

"Liquid luck. Don't drink it, Ron." But he didn't listen. He drank it. "You could be expelled for that."

"I don't know what you're talking about." Harry said. Ron sat down his cup back and smiled.

"Come on, Harry. We've got a game to win." He said and got up from his seat. Harry, also, getting up and followed him out from the Great Hall. When Jaiden saw Harry and Ron already walked out, Blaise came in. Blaise saw Jaiden already looking at him so he called her to come at him.

When Jaiden saw his sign, she nodded. "I'll meet you at the pitch." She said and got up. When she approached Blaise, he brought her to their table and sat down with Draco who was sitting alone.

"Hey, Draco. You alright, mate?" Blaise asked while filling in his plate.

"Yeah, I'm fine."

"Draco, you wouldn't believe what I found out last night." Blaise said and sent a glance at Jaiden who just rolled her eyes.

"Not here, Blaise. You can tell him after your match." Jaiden said and Blaise just nodded.

"Right. We'll beat you at this match." Blaise said.

"Yeah, Jay. Your team wouldn't stand a chance against us." Draco said and both boys made a high-five.

"Fine. You better hope that Blaise won't fall asleep on his broom. We got an eventful night last night."

"Now, I really want to know what happened. Why didn't you bring me with you?" Draco asked Jaiden.

She shrugged. "Ask him. He just appeared." Jaiden nodded her head towards Blaise.

"Don't worry, mate. We will tell you when the match is over." Blaise said and Draco nodded. After that, they walked down to the pitch together.
