The very next morning, Jungkook woke up only to see you no more by his side. He slowly sat up and looked around the room but couldn't see you anywhere.

He began to feel lonely and so he quickly got off from the bed. As soon as he stepped out from your room, a delicious smell tickled his nose in an instant. Knowing that it came from the kitchen, he immediately made his way to there to check it out.

Like what he'd expected, you were there, cooking eggs using the non-sticked frying pan, still didn't notice him there.

A happy smile curved his lips looking at you from the back. Without making any noise, Jungkook slowly approached you until he was standing right behind you.

He was about to surprise you but failed when you suddenly turned around with the finished omelette and looked at him in the eyes. Instead, Jungkook was the one who was so surprised after seeing your face.

"What happened to your face?" He asked, voice trembled.

There was an obvious bruise in the corner of your lips and a few cuts on your face. As if someone just beat you up.

"Who did this to you? Lee Areum?" He clenched his fist, boiling up in anger.

You stayed quiet and let the tears bubbling your eyes as the horrible event flashed in your head. Jungkook couldn't hold his anger anymore, there was no one else in his mind. She was the only one who had the reasons to do so.

He was about to leave to find her, but you quickly held him back.

"Don't do anything, she might hurt my dad." You cried as you slowly fell on your knees, stopping Jungkook in an instant.

He turned his body around and watched you cried on your knees. It hurt him seeing you cried again. It was all his fault. The scene was tearing his heart apart, he quickly helped you to stand up and seated you on the chair.

"What happened between you and her? Tell me everything." He questioned, but with a softer tone this time.

"She came to me when I was waiting for you in the parking lot. She said that you two broke up because of me and— and—"

"And she beat you up?" He furrowed his eyebrows, shocked that Areum could go that far. For you, he tried his best to hold in the anger.

You just nodded as a reply, tongue clenched, heart burst with flame of emotion.

"We won't let her touch your dad. Remember, I will always be here when you need me." He comforted you, which made you a bit relieved.

Out of the blue, his eyes caught something on the plate, it was an omelette that you cooked for him.

"Wait," Jungkook suddenly stood up and walked towards the frying pan.

"I'll cook one for you." He grinned as if nothing had happened.

Though you weren't sure about his idea, you decided to keep quiet and watched him from the back.

*He isn't that bad..* you secretly smiled looking at him who put a lot of effort in cooking.

"Ta-daa!" Jungkook proudly placed the finished omelette in front of you.

You couldn't help but to burst into laughter looking at the difference between yours and his. The one that you cooked for him looked perfect while his looked more like scrambled eggs.

"Wae...?" His proud smile slowly faded and was replaced with a confused one.

"Nothing.." you mumbled and put a small piece of it into your mouth. Like what you expected, the taste was more important than the looks.

"How is it?" He curiously asked while staring at you.

"It's good." You muttered.

Jungkook then heaved a sigh of relief. It was his first attempt in cooking omelette. All he did was just following your steps from beginning until the end.

"By the way.." he said, fidgeting a bit before continuing "I suddenly miss my hometown, Busan."

"Palli wa Jeon Jungkook!" You yelled by the door. He was the one who decided to go for a trip to Busan but was the one who took a long time to pack his stuffs.

"I'm coming.." he finally walked out with a black backpack.

Both of you were about to go when suddenly the door next to you swept opened, revealing Taehyung in his casual clothes.

"Oh? Where are you going?" Taehyung asked.

"We're going to Busan." You smiled to him.

"Jinjja?? Well we're going there too!"
