I woke up a bunch a voices. Most of them were angry and concerned. I heard my mom, Becks' parents, Tiffany, Victor, and Angelina. I couldn't hear him, but Becks was in the room too, holding and stroking my hand with his thumb. I was too weak to open my eyes for a moment so I just listened

"Victoria, you don't understand, if Haley wakes up, she'll go insane", Tiffany argued sounding like her voice was far away "Victor let me go!"

"I have to agree with Tiffany, please get her out of here before she wakes", my mom spoke softly

"Where else will she able to recover?", Angelina asked

"Tiffany calm down", Victor said and Tiff growled at him

"I'll calm down when you get her out of here! You don't how dangerous she'll be when she wakes!", Tiff yelled which made me jump

"Haley?", Becks whispered and my eyes shot opened.

I blinked a few times to adjust to the light then looked around. All I see it white walls, hospital beds, beeping machines, and eyes starring at me.
We're... We're in a hospital, my wolf panicked

Becks you need to get me out of here! I screamed sitting up and panting. I can hear the machine next to me beeping fast as my heart raced. I can't stand that sound, I punched and kicked it

"Haley?! Haley!", Becks yelled and my eyes snapped to his

"I need you to get me out of here Becks!", I snatched all the needles from my arm and hoped off the bed

"Haley", Angelina spoke softly and I looked at her "we just need to run some test and then you can leave". I looked at her hand, she held a needle. I ran out the room and down the hall. I pushed against people, most likely to be visitors. I crashed passed carts, and tables

Run! Run! I don't want this to happen again! My wolf cried and nodded, I was grabbed by someone brought to the floor

"NO! NO!", I screamed, growled and kicked "LET ME GO!"

"Haley! It's me!", he whispered holding me tight "calm down baby"

"I told you!", Tiffany snapped punching Victor's arm. She covered me in a warm blanket and Becks took me home. He carried me the room and we laid in bed

"What was that back there?", he asked holding me close cause I was still shaking

"I have phobia of hospitals", I answered closing my eyes "when I was ten, I got very sick. My parents took me to the hospital and I had to go into surgery. My wolf and I died on the operating table..." I can feel myself crying

"Oh god, baby, I'm sorry", he whispered planting a kiss on my forehead "you don't have to continue" I shook my head

"I want to... we were gone for twenty minutes. It was so dark and cold. When I woke up, I was in the morge. I tried calling for help, but no one came until two days later", I whispered back and I cried even harder "since then my wolf and I learned how to heal faster without the hospital's help". There was silence and after my crying session, I looked up at Becks

"I need you help to get better", I said softly "can you clear your schedule Alpha?"

"Anything for my Luna", he replied smiling

"Good, cause I need you to help me take a bath", I grunted as I sat up and he helped me walked to the bathroom.

While he ran the bath, I looked at myself in the mirror. My eyes were red, lips were bloody, face was all whipped up with my body to match. My body still had opened wounds, considering this is my first night back home. I still had dried blood on me. I saw Becks looking at me in the reflection, his eyes are tearing up

Don't cry Becks, you saved me that's all that matters, I whispered with a slight smile

I wish I was there before, so all this wouldn't have happened, he whispered

"You have to stay strong for me Becks, no more crying, no more 'I'm sorry', my job was to keep Jane safe and yours was to save us which you did", I explained turning to him and wiping his tears "I need you to take care of me now and I don't want any tears"

"Okay, come on", he said taking my hand and helping me in the tub

"Owowowowowowowowow", I whispered as I sunk into the warm water

"Is it good?", Becks asked and I nodded

"Scrub my back please", I spoke passing him a sponge "gently". He took a deep breath and rubbed the sponge against my back. I ran the water over my arms and chest, watching the water turn to blood red. All I kept seeing was that guard whipping me repeatedly, with a evil and disgusting grin on his face

"Stop thinking about that", Becks whispered making me jump. Almost forgot he can read my thoughts

"Sorry", I whispered and started washing my face

"How did you get out the cell?", Becks asked

"I don't want to talk about it Becks", I replied shaking my head, but now I started thinking about it. The whips, burns, the darkness, and the cold. Then when the guard took Jane away and I remembered how pissed I was and how my only job was to save here. I didn't want anything to happen to her cause I loved her, like she was my own little sister. I wouldn't let anything happened to her.

I felt Becks head lean on the back of mine

"Thank you, for keeping her safe", he whispered "I'm grateful to the Moon Goddess for giving me you. You can always be strong even when I'm weak" I looked at him and smiled

"And I can always count on you to be there", I commented and he smiled back

"Damn right you can", he whispered and I let out a giggle. After my bath, Becks helped dry me off and just stared at me through the mirror's reflection. He looked at my back and started kissing every wound

"Haley?", he whispered and looked me again "I love you". I froze and heat rushed up to my cheeks

"It's okay if you don't love back", he continued with a smile "I know it'll take some time"

"I think I'm getting there", I whispered and pecked his cheek "I'm hungry, can you make me something to eat?". He nodded, pressed a kiss on my cheek and left the room. I looked at my back in the mirror and smiled, most of the wounds were healed- my mate. I got dressed in my pjs and put a cotton robe over. I laid in bed and watched TV, waiting for Becks to come back

"Made you a sandwich", he said walking back into the room and I smiled

"Yay", I cheered clapping my hands lightly. He sat in the bed next to me and passed me the sandwich. I took a bite and moaned in amazement

"So good", I moaned and he smiled

"Thanks", he replied "so..."

"So?", I said mocking him and he smiled "what do you besides Alpha stuff?"

"Nothing, usual my work takes up my time and then I sleep.... And eat", he answered and I frowned boo! Work sucks! He nodded at my thought.

After I had my sandwich, we talked some more and I cuddle close to him. I yawned and he chuckled

"What?", I asked looking up at him

"You're just adorable", he whispered and I blushed "got to sleep". He pecked my lips and wrapped his arms around me. I laid head against his chest and fell sound asleep to his heart beat.
