Haley's POV

Haley", a woman's voice called and I turned to see a bright light

"Holy crap! Am I died?", I asked in a worried and the woman laughed

"No dear, I am the moon goddess", she answered "I am here to warn you. The war it's coming sooner than you think Haley"

"Will we win against Silver?"

"You will make it.... But I fear for the others.... And sadly to say, Silver to is a war wolf", she replied in sympathy. This is bad- really bad

"You are the descendant Ares, the lead of the war wolves and the most finest warrior I've known", she explained "you have to be stronger than you've ever been Haley, I know you can do this". I took a moment to process this then looked up a the light

"What if I'm not strong enough?", I whispered scared and eager to hear the answer. A hand came out of the light and placed on my cheek.

Suddenly, images of blood and fire filled my mind. Seeing Becks, Victor, and Tiffany be killed before me. Hearing screams and cries.

"Haley?!", someone yelled shaking me. I opened my eyes and saw Becks with a worried look on his face. I hugged him as tears came into my eyes

"I love you so much", I cried into him neck and he hugged me back

"What's wrong baby?", he asked moving my hair behind my ear and wiping my sweaty forehead

"The moon goddess came to me in my dreams", I answered and he eyebrows raised "she told me Silver will be coming very soon and.....". He waited for me to continue, but I didn't want to

"Tell me beautiful", he whispered and I can feel the tears coming up again

"She told me if I wasn't strong enough, that everyone is going to die", I finally said and he smiled.

We sat up, Becks sat me in his lap, and held my face in his hands

"I'm not going anywhere baby, you're stuck with me", he whispered and I started crying again I'm such an emotional wreck

"She showed me what would happen if I failed", I said and he sighed

"I don't care what anyone says, I'm not leaving you", he wiped my tears and planted little kisses on my face "I love you, I would never leave you. I don't care what happens to me, I'll still be by your side, breathing". I gave a little smile and nodded

"How about a shower then we make breakfast?", he suggested and I nodded. He got up and carried me in his arms to the bathroom. As much as I wanted to not think about and not believe it, the more it grew in my mind. I'm starting to be paranoid, like how Becks was

"Come here", he whispered and wrapped his arms around my waist "take a deep breath". I leaned into his chest and

Hey there, I heard someone mindlinked me

Who is this? I asked

Let's just say we know each other in a past life, they whispered and I back away from Becks, looking terrified

"What's wrong?", Becks asked

"Silver", I whispered biting my lip nervously

Ah, so you do know my name, I thought you wouldn't know about me, he said and I knew he was smiling

"What about him?", Becks asked in a worried tone

"She was right, get everyone ready, we have to go like now", I spoke stopping the shower and getting out

Oh sweet Haley, by the time you get outside, everyone will be dead! Silver growled which made me jump

"Silver is mindlinking me and he can hear what I'm saying", I commented drying off and putting on my sweats.

We ran downstairs and outside in less than four minutes

"Anything?", Becks asked one of the men and he shook his head "is everyone hidden?"

"Yes sir", the man replied and I sniffed the air "is uh, Luna okay?"

"Hush", I whispered and listened

"Pretty fast and determined aren't you, descendant of Ares", Silver called and it echoed through the trees "You're still not going to win against me"

"Why are you doing this Silver?", I questioned not showing any fear and he laughed

"I'm pretty sure you know", he answered and I shivered

"Don't hurt anyone, we have done nothing to you", I spoke and he laughed again "I challenge you!". There was silence and Becks grabbed my arm

"What the hell are you doing?!", he whispered angrily and I held his face in my hands

"I can't get anyone hurt", I whispered back and he shook his head

"I can't let you", he spoke even lower and I can see the tears in his eyes

"Just make sure the rogues don't cross, you have to do your job Alpha", I commented with a small smile. He didn't say anything just kissed the top of my head

"I accept your challenge", Silver finally said, his voice sounded a little closer. We heard a thump and looked ahead to see a man, a little older than us and about 6'5. He had red hair, pale skin, and blue eyes.... He looks a little like me...

"Your descendent, Ares, was the brother of my descendent, Hansel", he explained smiling "it just happened to be a coincidence that they were also twins. You can say we're twins in a past life".

I walked towards him and he seemed taller up close. I was afraid, but I couldn't let him see me that way. I kept my hands in fist, so he wouldn't see them shaking

"I know you're afraid Haley, I can smell it coming off you", Silver whispered as he towered over me

"Shall we get started?", I asked keeping eye contact and he smiled

"Yes we shall", he replied.
