The music is blasting as we walk downstairs. Dancing, sweaty and even drunk people are in the house and the backyard partying and the party has only been on for about half an hour, maybe a little longer.

"Lets go find the boys!" Summer shouts over the blasting music and grabs my hand, dragging and squeezing me through people. By boys I hope she means Jason and Asher.

"Happy birthday, birthday girls!" A girl shouts making both me and Summer turn around. She's blonde and has a very bright red lipstick on her lips.

"Thank you!" We say and continue our search for Asher and Jason.

"Babe!" I hear Jason voice call from behind me and I turn around to see him with his friends. "They're there!" I shout to Summer making her turn around.

We walk towards the boys, Jason is wearing a black shirt with some letters on and blue ripped jeans. "Hi!" I say and he pulls me in for a hug. "Happy birthday, baby!" He shouts over the loud music and we kiss. I can taste the alcohol on his lips and I can tell he's a little tipsy.

"Thank you" I smile and hug him.

"Happy birthday girls!" An obnoxiously high pitched voice says from behind me and I roll my eyes before turning around to find none other than Taylor. The Queen bee.

I don't think I've ever liked this girl. Luckily the meetings mutual.

"Thank you, Taylor." Summer says politely and I nod in thanks. "Yeah, whatever." She says, flipping her brown hair and walking off to the dance floor or my so called living room.

"Gift, I want to give you babe." He drunkenly says grabbing my hand and pulling me to his chest. When I stumble into his chest he stumbles back.

He places a kiss on the side of my mouth. "Yeah, just ignore him, Aves he's a bit drunk." Asher says pating his shoulder. "I m-mean babe I want to give you, your present." He says, grabbing my hand.

I nod and we walk to the surprisingly, nearly empty kitchen. "He-here." He says leaning against the kitchen counter to steady himself. He is drunk.

I grab the pink box and open it to see a pair of small earrings with two small diamonds on, they're amazing. "Thank you!" I say and jump into his arms, causing him to fall back and take me down with him. We laugh and stand up kissing.

His tongue dives in my mouth, leaving the taste if alcohol and cigarettes behind. I pull away.

"Did you smoke? " I ask him, eyebrows furrowing.

"Just a l-little." He says and I roll my eyes and turn around to grab a drink. "I love you." He whispers in my ear, pulling my back against his front. "Yeah, me too." I mumble.

"Don't get angry." He pleads and kisses my cheek.

"Let's go dance." I change the subject and take a sip from the tequila strawberry mix, Tristan insisted we had.

"Yeah, let's go." Jason agrees, drunkenly leading me to where everyone's dancing.

The song I'm not the only one, comes on. I wrap my arms around his neck and he grabs me by the waist, pulling me flush against him. We start swaying back and forth, along with everyone else in the room and he looks at me in the eyes. "You look beautiful." He says pulling me closer. "And you're drunk." I say making him chuckle.

I place a kiss to his lips.

We continue dancing together to a few other songs, by dancing I mean making out half of them. But no ones paying attention to us, so I don't really care. If the circumentances were different the furthest we would go, would probably be Jason holding me by the waist.

Another slow song comes on. He moves one hand to my face, cupping my cheek. His eyes half closed, probably because of the alcohol in his system.

Our lips meet in a passionate kiss. His tongue once again dives inside my mouth, but this time he doesn't even move it along with mine. So I pull away and look into his eyes. "Kiss," I see his lips say and I kiss him again.

Jason's hand slides further down my waist and is about to grab my butt when I'm pulled back by someone and Jason, being drunk just let's me go, thinking I pulled away. Is the dude for real!?

I could be getting kidnapped in my own house for all I know and he just turns around to Summer and Asher like that.

I turn around to look at whoever's dragging me but am instead met with Aiden's glowering eyes.

"What are you doing?" I shout over the booming music.

"Follow me!" He says and begins dragging me towards the stairs. I try to glue my feet to the floor but it's no use. Aiden's too strong for me to resists, so I kind of have to let him drag me, which I do.

"Aiden!" I shout at him, but he doesn't even glance back. Once upstairs, he continues his way to what I think is my room. I can barely see his shadow in the dark hallway. Why wouldn't we leave a light on? One could die in such darkness.

"Aiden, let go," I try to pry my wrist out of his grip, which I fail miserably with.

He stops abruptly in front of my door, I bump into his hard back and start rubbing my aching nose with my free hand.

Even his back has muscles, it's hard. That's what she said. I'm never drinking tequila mix again.

He wiggles my door knob angrily, trying to get my room door open.

"You won't get in without the key." I snap at him. Does he ever use his brain. That was rude. I take it back. He looks into my eyes, then down to the tight hold he has on my wrist and immediately loosens it.

"Where's the key?" He asks. As if I'll tell him.

"Somewhere, why did you take me from Jason?" I glare at him, noticing how his jaw clenches at the mention if his name. "Just give me the fucking key, Avery." He grits.

"Aiden, let go. You're not getting into my room." I tell him firmly. One, he has no buisness in there and two, he might see the black bra on my desk chair.

"Avery ju-" I cut him off.

"No! First you take me away from my boyfriend and now you're demanding me to open the door. Leave me alone and get back to the party."

He doesn't respond. Just keeps staring at me.

"That's what I thought, let me go." Did that even make any sense? He doesn't have a reaction to it. I guess it does. Or he's too focused looking at me to hear anything I say.

"No." He answers quietly.

"Why would you even bring me up here?!" I exclaim, having enough of his strange behaviour.

"I-he," he cuts himself off. "He what?"

"He was about to touch you." He says through gritted teeth. My eyeborws furrow when I see his jaw muscles tense in the dim lighting.

"What if he was!?" I almost shout at him. "It's not like he hasn't done it before." I mumble the last part quietly, looking off to my side. That wall seems very interesting. Whatever is visible if that wall, that is.

"He has what!?" He yells, letting go of my wrist. His arm falls down to his side.

"What's it to you anyway?" I throw my hands up in the air exasperated by him. I wait for his answer, while squinting my eyes to see him better.

"I don't like it when other guys touch you." He says lowly. A few seconds pass by as I replay his words in my mind over again. Did he really say what I think he did?

"What did you say?" I whisper.

He takes a step forward. His feauters are now more prominent but its still difficult to see his face clearly. Strong jaw, high cheekbones. Straight nose. Lips.

"I said that I don't like when other guys touch you." My jaw hits the floor. Is he serious!?

"Aiden just go downstairs and leave m-" His lips on mine cut me off.

What is he doing!?

My eyes widen at first but then close instinctively when he tilts my head up with his one hand. The other stays on my hip, squeezing and rubbing my flesh there.

He pulls away to breath but smashes his lips back on mine again. This time, his tongue swipes across my buttom lip, and I open my mouth. It's as if we're the only ones. The music from downstairs can't be heard and I don't even know if I'm breathing. The only thing I'm aware off is his hands and lips on me.

Our tongues meet in the middle and the previous goosebumps are back. This time with a million butterflies all over my stomach. Scratch that, I can feel the fluttering all over my body.

My knees wobble, but he keeps me up, when our tongues mold together passionately. His, leaving an unforgettable minty taste in my mouth.

No one's ever kissed me like this before. Not even Jason. Jason! Realisation of what I'm doing hits me. Hard. I'm cheating on my boyfriend with my brothers' best friend. I'm kissing Aiden and cheating on my boyfriend with him.

I loosen my grip on his shirt and give him a light push. Clearly taken aback he stumbles a few steps.

Neither of us say anything we just stare into each others eyes, as if it's the only thing we can do. The world around us starts to come back. The music is now louder than ever and I feel the need to say something, anything but my voice is stuck in my throat. I just blink.

After a few seconds of utter shock and silence I see Aidens figure rush past me and down the stairs.

I stay there trying to proceed what just happened.

He kissed me. Aiden kissed me. My brothers best friend kissed me.

I feel like crying. I kissed Aiden, I cheated on Jason, my brothers will be dissapointed of they find out and I'll lose their trust but the worst part of it all is that I enjoyed it. I enjoyed kissing Aiden. I feel selfish for being so careless.

With a long sigh, I look at the clock to see its already 1 a.m. Guilt for not feeling any guilt sets a tightening feeling to my chest.

I walk down the dark hallway as my heartbeat is fast under my chest.

Once I get at the end of the stairs I see Summer.

"Oh! Aves! There you are! I was looking for you and Aiden said he saw you upstairs." She says with a smile but I can't seem to ba able to talk I just nod and continue my way downstairs.

"Aves, are you okay?" Summer asks worriedly and hooks her arm with mine.

"Ye-yeah, Le-let's just get back to the party." I stutter, trying to sound as convincing as possible but the look she gives me tells me everything.

"Avery Reeve Marchetti, tell me now!" She demands. Not the full name. This means she won't let it go, and I know better than to hide anything from her.

I take a deep breath. "Please, I'll tell you tomorrow, please let's just go back to the party." I beg and she keeps looking at me with the same look on her face. The look that tells me she has an idea of what just happened. "Please." I whisper, she nods.

We walk back to the dance floor and find, Asher and Jason leaning against the wall talking along with other guys, from the football team.

"Hi!" We greet them and they all turn around. "Hey babe!" Jason says and I can tell he's gotten more drunk than he already was. "Where were you? You just left?"He asks as he grabs me around the waist and pulls me to him.

Jason, only if you knew.

"Um I-I was just um" I say and point my thumb towards the staircase. "She was doing her makeup!" Summer intrupts me, like the bestfriend she is and I give her a thankful look. What would I do without her? Oh, I know, I would probably blurt it all out and make it more than obvious that I kissed Aiden upstairs.

"Yeah." I say and Jason looks at me confused. "Okay, oh yeah these are the boys from the foo-ootball team, Hayden, Carter-" he points to a muscular guy with dark hair. "I'm Carter, dude you're wasted!" The boy next to the dark haired guys chuckles making everyone laugh.

I chuckle nervously as Jason looks lost. "Whatever, and that's Owen." He points to a red haired guy. "Hi!" I wave and they nod.

We continue talking and swaying to the loud music and soon after, most people leave.

"Come on, I need to drive you home and if I'm not home soon myself, my sister is going to tell mom." Asher tells Jason with a slap on the shoulder.

"Bye girls, happy birthday again, it was fun." Owen, Carter and Hayden, tell me and Summer and we hug them goodbye. "Thanks!" We say and they walk out of the door to wait for Jason and Asher to get to the car.

Jason pulls me in for a hug and I hug him back. "Bye, baby, it was nice tonight." He smiles and leans down to kiss me.

His lips doesn't feel as Aiden's felt. Aiden's didn't taste alcohol, well a little but not as much as Jason's. They were mo- why am I comparing Aidens and Jason's lips?

We pull away and I look at him."Bye" I bid quietly and I see Summer looking at me from the corner of my eye.

Jason and Asher leave and so does everyone else in the house.

......

"Tell me what's going on. Now!" Summer shouts and grabs my shoulders, shaking me playfully after we've finished cleaning up mist of the trash on the house.

I laugh nervously and begin to speak but before words leave my mouth Xavier walks up to us."Go, to bed, it's four a.m, we'll clean everything else tomorrow." He kisses both of our foreheads and walks up the stairs.

"I'll tell you tomorrow." I mumble to Summer and she sighs before nodding.

"Can I sleep in your room, instead of mine at least?" She asks. Yes, Summer has her assigned guest room in my house too. Her mom travels a lot so she spends most of those nights here.

"Why do you ask, you know you'll do it anyways." I say in a bored tone and we both burst out laughing. The little amount of alcohol I consumed os really taking a hit.

"Let's go, wait how much did you drink?" I raise an eyebrow. She lifts her fingers and starts counting.

"Two tequila strawberry mix things, and a beer, I might have had more." She laughs as we start walking up the stairs.

We get in front of my room and I look at it. The little lamp on the drawer in the hallway lights it up so I can see my white door clearly.

It was right there Aiden kissed me a few hours back. I touch my lips as I remember the feeling.

"Aves! Stop zooming out! Where's the key!?" Summer asks as she holds her red hair up by one of her hands and fanning her face with the other.

"What? Oh yeah here." I reply and walk over to the drawer to get the key.

I open my door and Summer walks in jumping on my bed in a starfish position. I laugh at her exhausted self and turn around to close the white door.

Just as I'm about to close it. I see Aiden walk down the hallway with Hunter by his side. He seems tense.

He doesn't seem to notice me so I close the door and strip down, putting on my new pyjamas Summer got me and walk over to Summers side of my closet where she keeps her clothes and grab her pyjamas, I now realise match mine only that hers are red.

I take her clothes off her sleeping body and change her, before wiping her makeup off.

I roll her over to one side of the king sized bed, lay next to her, pull my floral covers over us and turn the on my bedside table off and fall asleep. My last thoughts being none other than Aiden.
